I didn’t know I had CD for 43 years! I was slowly killing myself! My thyroid does not function anymore and I will be on meds the rest of my life, but I made the choice to go grain free 2.5 months ago and my life has completely changed.
The neurological effects of CD affected me the most. I begged my doctor to put me on ADHD meds so I could concentrate at work so I wouldn’t get fired. All along all I needed was to remove gluten from my diet.
I now feel AMAZING!!!!!! I’ve been off adhd meds for 6 months and I can concentrate on my own even better than on meds. Please, please, please- if you’ve been diagnosed with either CD or thyroid issues please go grain free and don’t go back.

Based on everything I have been looking at, why is anyone consuming GLUTEN, the consequences are shocking. Gluten is in everything!

This disease is worse than most people think. It's not just a fad to be gf - it's a matter of life or being sick with all sorts of medical problems...I have ataxia as well as neuropathy. My hair is falling out and I'm in bed more than not. I take Dapsone for the dermatitis but it doesn't seem to work as well as it used to. The doctors where I live aren't educated enough about this illness.

Avooid grains too Kari! All grains! They're in everything including your motrin, vitamins and more. See Dr Osbourne by video in Sugarland Texas as soon as you can or review the 'corn allergy list' by leaves of life on google and stay away from everything on that list. Sending you love.

I hate how there’s more attention on vegan diets than gluten free ones, veganism is a choice!! If I touch any gluten at all I can’t think straight and I’m out for at least a day

I’m sorry you have been going through it. I hope it gets better. My gluten ataxia started when I was 18, it’s so scary dealing with it and doctors are so ignorant about it

@@jenaybrown4575 I'm so sorry for you as well Jenay, especially that your ataxia started when you were so young! You must be a very strong person. Mine started around age 66. I'm grateful I had a good young life healthwise, except for the psoriasis and APS. God will not test us beyond our strength. I must remind myself of that more often!

More education needs to be provided given the toxic nature of gluten. I put myself on gluten free diet after working out what foods were irritating the colon. It’s worth investigating !

Study prolamine proteins in grains. Just going free of Gliadin - typical prolamine protein doesn't have to help.

      Hello Josh,
Gee, I never heard of MS in the brain but it makes so much logical sense bcuz MS attacks the nervous system and the brain is THE computer controlling it all. I'm so sorry you are suffering with this. I am NCGS and have migraine headaches almost daily makes it so hard to think. Everything I do is in slow motion and I many times feel that I'm not really a part of this world but in some other suspended animation like state. It's very weird and frustrating to feel one is not in control to direct thoughts and execute them quickly or maybe not at all when the dizziness starts it is hard to keep focused. Do you feel this way with the MS? Have you heard of Dr. Terry Wahls? She got her MS under control and in remission with natural methods. She went drug route first and it did not help. Was in a wheelchair and now walks normal and rides her bike. At any rate with the EBV and mild ataxia I wonder if I'm on the road to MS as well. My neuro says no at present. Thanks be to God! Do the MS brain lesions show up on an MRI as white spots? They call it microangiopathy. I hope your future health will be better. Never lose hope!
