Man I've been looking at these for awhile but that infotainment screen is as close to a deal breaker as it gets for me. I can't believe they would do this. You HAVE to look at the screen to do what you need to do, where as every car has buttons you can just reach over and feel. You get used to the buttons in your car so you don't even need to look. The screen lags too.
I have quite a few repeat clients with older Subarus that upgrade to the new Crosstreks and have told me that within a couple weeks that they're not looking at the screen to make the adjustments that they need to do while driving. That's from a mix of customers in their 20's to seniors, but YMMV. Everyone is allowed to have different "deal breakers."
Subaru should have put the backup sensors on the Impreza RS.
