Ralph was hot stuff back then, what am I talking about, he still is!
Aww, Ralph looked shy when Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis were praising him. He's a sweet, humble guy.
He’s a sweet Taurus
A humble taurus😂😂😂😂
A humble Christian. Christlike.
Arsenio is still the king of late night talk shows. The performers put on mini concerts. Respect to Ralph Tresvant ✌🏾
Damn, he sung live with all of that energy. Good job. Talented.
Ralph T & Mint Condition.
Being in that audience was a privilege.
It really was epic
Mint Condition + Ralph Tresvant = 🔥
Yo man Ralph straight killed this performance
Back when people had actual talent!
This song requires a lot of energy and he gave 100 percent in this performance. I mean he left no crumbs
Damn Ralph got some serious Abs...Yes!
Gorgeous guy with so much talent. He put his ALL in NE and kept it alive, but neglected his own solo career.
He's doing HIS THING NOW at 50, so let him have his fun & freedom. He'll reunite with NE cause that's his heart.
Vera Howard agree
Hmmmm we'll see.
Yes Ralph Should have went sooo much further then he didn't in his solo career but they jam & Louis.
They didn't do all they could could to make it more successful for Ralph like they Bobby Brown he did so much better then Ralph but to me they are both great performers but l love ralph and he sings better then bobby to me,. but bobby diffidently can sing too and dance he's a great dancer.💋💕😁
Bobby COULD sing and WAS a great dancer, saw him last week he was horrid....LOL
@@bogreen2013 💀💀💀💀
Stokley on drums! Musical beast! 🔥
Incredible breath control all while singing 🎵 dancing 🕺🏽, and rapping 💥💥💥💥💥💥
I think Ralph Tresvant should still make an album with Jam & Lewis! I think there collaborations with him have been remarkable!💯🎶🎵🎼😎
This is cool hes backed by oneof the greatest bands MINT CONDITION
Ralph is an awesome talent/brilliant mind and handsome dude
Crowd went crazy when Rizz came out with them bars, Ralph got bars lol. 3:10 They always been spittin low key since kids. But during their solo era they all individuallyl had incorporated rap elements into their songs.. Bobby, Ralph BBD, Idk if JG had any rhymes on his he is in a league of his own powerhouse vocals, strictly r and b.,
Ralph has a lot of energy got it Ralph a born performer he owns the stage
mona mejia no doubt... I wish him and Bobby would have done an album with just those two around this time.
@@corleo02672123 They did. He secretly sung DON'T BE CRUEL!
@@gailjones7044 The rumor I heard was that he sang some of Every little step. Even if that were true, I'm talking about the two doing an entire joint project together.
Like Johnny said Ralph is the engine of New Edition since when do you drive without the engine.
Raplh is a perfect singer , he don't over do or under do no song and the masters themselves have said it
Bren ain’t nobody said that shit
@@vainglorious101 😂 😂 😂
Ralph is FREAKING GORGEOUS 😍
that piano at 1:18 >>> i be listening to this more than the studio version now, ralph killed it 🔥🔥🔥
I didn’t realize that Mint Condition was the backing band for this performance
Silvester Gardner yoooo that’s dope
That was before we knew who they were
Omg that is Mint in the background!!
Damn! Gotta watch it again! I saw Mint Condition live and they tore the roof off! Mint is STILL killin' it, and Ralph and Jimmy & Terry is still killin' it, too! Can't wait to hear the new stuff they did with Ralph.
@@ertfgghhhh Speak for yourself! "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)" was released in 1991. This performance was in 1992.
Still the coolest late night talk show in television history
I love this era of music.
wow I was born in 98, seeing this is amazing. love listening to that old school R&B/funk/new jack swing sound so to see it being performed is eye opening. Growing up around this time in black music had to be a constant party
Jam and Lewis and Ralph always do good songs together.
Good songs, but not really hits. 🤷🏽♀️
@@CodyCole80 that was more on the label for not pushing projects.
Man I miss these days.
Rizzo, And Mint Condition, Love Them Both!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️🎵🎵🎵🎵
one of my favorite songs by him
Ralph is so gorgeous and so talented. In my opinion Ralph being so humble hurt him he never had to
do extra shit it just was what it was. From young to even now in 2017 when he peforms he does it
so effortlessy it just comes natural to him. The fact that Ralph dosen't have an agressive personality
put people and even his own bandmates that know him basically his whole life in a positon to act like
he's not the shit when they know damn well Ralph is everything. Ralph need to do him and let NE die
because without him NE will die and that is a fact.
Tahela I totally agree. So many people (even so-called friends) took advantage of Ralph because he is so humble and selfless. That's why I loved him for over 30 years. He is truly one of a kind with his sexy, fine self.😍😍
I totally agree with both of you ladies!!
Hey Tahela and Elle, do you ladies listen to his radio show???
Kathy R Yessss every since the movie came out, I been all over YT and his show, waiting on that cruise now sis ha!
Elle, Heyyyy my fellow rider!!!! I love Inside The Ride with my husband Rizzo!!!!
How fly was my man Ralph.I mean his gear is fresh" and his performance is killer.90's R&B and contemporary R&B carried the torch of a very rich legacy of music very proudly.
I think he should’ve toned down the “gentleman” suits and rocked fits like this more often. Maybe he would’ve appealed more to the hip crowd of that time.
I LOVEEEE this song I fell in love when I first heard it ❤️ it’s so sad he didn’t get HUGE success like he should have as a solo artist I love his albums he definitely could have been doing big solo headline tours ✨ I will always love him
I wanna send a shout out to my home boy Bobby Brown.A true friend!!!!!!!
@@Monique-im2wg Who ended up betraying who ?
take a wilddddd guess.
@@Monique-im2wg don't know...tell me.
Use your brain. Who is NE'S BIGGEST train wreck?
My favorite Ralph song to know what mint is there man that's amazing I wish I was born at that time being an American
Can we talk about MT backing him perfectly and the fact that Stokley is KILLIN the drums! I always love seeing him come from behind the mic and back behind the drums ❤️

So proud of the Minnesota connection. That made us proud
Gatdammit! Jimmy Jam is a phenomenal edifier! Ralph was blushing left and right😄💣💣💣💖🙏🏾💪🏾
I remember this! Staying up late as a kid in '92.
Let’s give it up ⬆️ for the band and the background singers as well 🎷🎺🥁🎹🎤 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 💯
Such a dope artist ❤
I know ya'll Mint Condition. I can see Stockley PLAYING THE DRUMS IN THE BACKGROUND
This was my shit from the mo money soundtrack😆
Indeed, Sis. Same here! The whole soundtrack was and still is BANGIN! Even the remixes were and are STR8 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
ralph mustache always on point ol pretty mother lol (wesley snipes voice) :)
At the End, that little flip thing he did with his hat before putting it on..🥰 Love me some Mr. Tresvant.
Yoooooo, if Stokley and Ralph would’ve both sang together...Jesus would’ve came back
Just knowing this makes me epic.
He SNAPPED & looked GOOD on A.HALL .
Stokley on drums 🔥
D Walker112 really?!
This is when soundtracks were better than the movies...and every R&B singer had to rap a verse (or hire a guest rapper) for their uptempo joint. 🤣
'Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, its jealousy as enduring as the grave. Love flashes like fire, the brightest kind of flame. Many waters cannot quench love, nor can rivers drown it. If a man tried to buy love with all his wealth, his offer would be utterly scorned. ' - Song of Songs 8:6-7
2:36 almost made me lose it 😂🙌🏾😩
#Faaaaacctts

What do you have to do to get Mint Condition as a your band on a live performance?
They were on Jam and Lewis's record label called Perspective in the 90s...Yup ..you always had to have some videotape ready for arsenio👍
Damn that s-curl kit was big in the early 90s
HUGE!
Good hair in a box for $4.99
@@marchbabi323 Ralph has "good hair" without the S-curl kit.

Jesus Christ is coming he loves you repent Amen God bless
This is only for those who know black music! Mint condition in the background other beasts wish I could see this live I wasn't even born.
I know the feeling lol
I wasn't born til '99 and I find myself liking old school music than music today
Isso que e música.
SOLO !!!
Terry looks so much like his brother Jerome
Had the talent as a soloist Just couldn't find the right sound
He had the wrong producers....he needed Babyface....he was the best at that Time
JW JW
I agree. He’s always going to JJ&TL, and they are geniuses, but they just don’t spark their usual magic with him. They might like each other as people, but that connection doesn’t seem to transcend in the music. 🤷🏽♀️
If he went to babyface some would've said he's trying to copy Bobby or steal his shine !!! Ralph waited too long when he came out BBD, Johnny and Bobby were still hot and his ' nice guy ' style was being overshadowed
@@jwjw2898 he needed teddy, face, AND jam and lewis.
