Established in 1939 for the film "Arizona," released in 1940, Old Tucson stands as an iconic American movie studio and Arizona's premier Western attraction. Having served as the backdrop for over 500 movies and TV shows, Old Tucson opened its doors to the public in 1960 as a theme park. Visitors can enjoy historical tours highlighting its rich cinematic history, along with live cast performances that include stunt shows, shootouts, and can-can dances. Today, it remains a favored location for Hollywood productions.

I grew up in Tucson. When we went to Old Tucson then it was the original buildings. Not touristy, no amenities. 🥰
This is on my bucket list. I love the Old West. Yes, Duke Wayne is my favorite guy of all time ❤❤❤. I did a trip like this to Lake Tahoe and we went to Virginia City Nevada because I was big into Bonanza at the time. Love the stunt show. That’s more my style lol

This brought back such fond memories for me! When I was a little kid back in the early 70s, my great-grandfather lived in Tucson and we would go out to visit him at least once or twice a year. On one of those visits, we went out to see Old Tucson, and being completely cowboy-crazed, I couldn't quite believe I got to walk across the porch of the main house at the High Chaparral! I was delighted to see it's still there and being used pretty regularly. Thank you for sharing your trip with us!

Wow watched on big TV . Video and sound were great. And so enjoyable to visit Tombstone through your camera. So glad you did not leave out the train ride. Even the smaller park trains are wonderful. Some new engine and some the old v 8 from the 1950s. You find a train, I am happy viewer. Almost said happy camper but that's you two. We love Tucson! Seeing this made me miss it! Be sure to go to Egees and get a slushy drink! Michelle, I felt your pain when Brian started to talk with his John Wayne accent. David says he can speak French (he REALLY can’t) and his attempts leave a lot of confusion. 😂 Glad you guys had so much fun! If you’re still there, don’t miss the drive up Mount Lemon!

Yes, we sure did! We’ve been waiting to organize a group cruise for a while now since we have been so busy. Then this deal came up with the company we are affiliated with, so we thought it was a perfect time to share a great deal. We have about 15 couples so far going. The group page is a private group for those that have booked the cruise and that can share tips etc before our cruise date.
