We lived in Clarksville off of Providence blvd from 86-89, i loved tenn. When hubby got out of Army we came back to Massachusetts. We missed the tornado and flood. Such a beautiful state.
We was living in Kentucky and my sister and her three children had to come up to our house and stay with us because they couldn’t get home. The road and bridge was closed due to the flooding.
Holy crap...I still remember this. I've lived in Clarksville for all my life so far and I remember when the river flooded when I was 7 and my grandpa took my brother and I to go see it. We were so shocked and thought it was crazy. I will still continue to remember it... R.I.P grandpa...
Can someone educate me on areas to avoid in flood areas? The Woodridge Estates area immediately comes to mind as an area Im looking into. Thank you in advance.
I'm in Kentucky I'm near the border of Tennessee by Clarksville. Well not by the flooded part but my mom told me this was just a terrible flood no hurricane because they Clarksville lives far from the ocean but the cause of the flood was the river leading to Nashville over flow.
