Joined the stormcloaks. with my trusty axe and shield. and proceeded to 100%, other then the rolling quests u get for eternity, the game. I never got caught stealing, or assassinating anyone. i took a great deal of pride in my character.

Humorously the thieves guild is one of the only ones that does actually require you to play your role, you won't be named GM until you have every city back up to snuff which takes 5 radiant missions and one big mission each

It makes sense why Neloth doesn't really give a damn... 1) Morrowind wizards can literally fly and jump across entire continents. 2) You can be the most dimwitted warrior and still be Arch Mage. Winterhold would make a skeever an Arch Mage if it just carried around a few items and killed a skeletal dragon.
Not to mention that one dumner student mentions that she can't get an apprenticeship in telvanni until she completed her education in winterhold which implies winterhold is viewed more as a high-school than a college
I like how he isn't portrayed as narcissistic but rather just extremely demanding. If he failed at something he wouldn't try to cover it up but actually push himself to do better. Or at least that's how I interpret his character, the fact he gives the Nerevarine such praise after dismissing them so much in morrowind makes me think he does that because he noticed he made a terrible mistake. He even feels more humble in Dragonborn (in a... Neloth kind of way of course, by paying his employees and admitting gratitude lol)

Yeah. I've only ever played Skyrim, but to me, he sounds more "powerful and honest" than anything else. Like he knows exactly what he can and can't do, and doesn't beat around the bush in either case. I don't recall him ever promising something and then finding excuses why he can't do it, or something. With people like him, you get exactly what he says you'll get, and I'm sure if he was confronted with a problem he couldn't solve, he'd admit it.

Thanks for uploading this. I usually start the College of Winterhold questline up until I find the Eye of Magnus then I begin Dragonborn, then I finish the rest of the College questline. After having to restart so many times due to rare glitches in the past, let’s just say I’ve been able to find a method that works for me

Well I don't know the quality of those institutions, as I'm not American, but I think the gulf is much bigger than that. Neloth's several hundred years old (probably somewhere between 500-1000, but 400 minimum), and is from a renowned house of mages. Neloth probably learned everything that Winterhold could teach centuries ago. So the dragonborn is probably like a child to him, hah. So I'd say it's more like a high school student tutor bragging about their knowledge to an 80 year old Nobel prize winning university professor.

Neloth was already a well established wizard in Morrowind, so he's several centuries old I assume. No less that 300 Id estimate (during Skyrim). Just thought I'd mention it, cause it's funny, hah. So maybe the long life magic is a Telvanni secret, as two members live outside the natural lifespan of their species. Again, in Morrowind, there's a quest where Neloth wants you to get a robe from another Telvanni, because he's only 200 and Neloth considers him an adolescent (implying he's not one, also implying it's common to live more than 200-300 for him/ the Telvanni) and thinks he's more worthy of it. So he's at least 200 during Morrowind, probably more. Then as Maverick pointed out, Skyrim is like 207 years after Morrowind, so he's at least 400, but probably more.

The video you've posted here is an example of a "one and done". Any one could have posted this scene. Now, you would like to have more subs, keep making more content, and eventually, people will, especially if you, for example, post videos that show obscure moments like this. And maybe, also, try doing Let's Plays. I've noticed "vlog style" videos are coming back into vogue here recently, like ones where the person playing is just wandering about Skyrim (or any game world) not exactly playing the game, but using the game as backdrop while they talk about whatever. That style used to be really popular when Minecraft LPs really gained traction, so it would be neat to see someone do that with Skyrim, especially after all the recent updates, new mods, etc. "CozyTube" might be right for you.
Ah yes I do "Know" how to use telekinesis, conjure daedra, undead skeletons, several spirits of warriors, skeleton horses, Daedric horses.....the only magic i use is only for transport for myself outside instead of walking or for the sake of backup in a battle...nothing more Am I the only one that uses particular spells and outright just use unique or crafted weapons?
Skyrim has this problem that ppl way dont respect the dragonborn no matter what, I mean neoloth is definitely way stronger than selvus but he is nowhere near a trully maxxed out dovakhin, it would be cool to have nicer dialog options on npcs for when they realize just how insane the dragonborn actually is and saved those rude dialogs for when the player isnt already better than them at what they do

That style used to be really popular when Minecraft LPs really gained traction, so it would be neat to see someone do that with Skyrim, especially after all the recent updates, new mods, etc.

Ah yes I do "Know" how to use telekinesis, conjure daedra, undead skeletons, several spirits of warriors, skeleton horses, Daedric horses.....the only magic i use is only for transport for myself outside instead of walking or for the sake of backup in a battle...nothing more

Skyrim has this problem that ppl way dont respect the dragonborn no matter what, I mean neoloth is definitely way stronger than selvus but he is nowhere near a trully maxxed out dovakhin, it would be cool to have nicer dialog options on npcs for when they realize just how insane the dragonborn actually is and saved those rude dialogs for when the player isnt already better than them at what they do
Having played Morrowind and Skyrim... yeah, Neloth has the avility to bend reality over his knee, and he's been doing so for centuries. The man has every right to be confident in his abilities.

@@Kyla-Stormhazard The Dragonborn is a literal demigod that has the inate ability to bend reality (what do you think the Th'um is), a child of Akatosh himself. It took Neloth decades, maybe centuries, to accomplish what the DB could do by speaking, fool.
I know you're probably blinded by nostalgia of "Morrowind," but the DB would turn Neloth into a red mist without a second thought.
