So much for Dirge always saying he would throw out anyone making trouble in the flaggon... He didn't do shit when someone actually shows up and makes trouble.
Lmao, that's because Thieves Guild is full of people who just proudly run their mouth without even proving anything. You know Vex? Claiming she's the best infiltrator the guild ever have and she can't even sneak into that bee farm. Are you telling me that a thief others claimed that she can technically disappear the moment she steps into the shadow while surrounded by city guards, can't infiltrate a place in the middle of the lake with just a bunch of bodyguards? And when we actually progress their quests, she's still giving us side-eye "Here's the job, hope you don't muck it up." EVEN AFTER we did the bee farm quest which is she failed to do and probably countless of others successful thief quests.

I wasn't Guild Master yet, but I had finished the main Thieves Guild quest by the time I was looking for Esbern. In that playthrough, Vekel warned me that "dangerous-looking elves" had come to the Flagon looking for Esbern already. And then everyone in the Flagon mobbed Gissur seemingly the moment he stood up.
