What I love about your channel is you learn so much by watching! Every day is a teaching moment! It's not just selling stuff like all the other channels! Thank you for all the free lessons!
Great video. I told Paul before we took it down to y'all, give Danny a week or two and he'll have it looking and working like a new one, and sure enough you did . It was gifted to us, so I knew we had to gift it on to someone else who could use it. I also think it's great that you used it to teach others in your videos. God is so good to us. God bless y'all.
THIS IS GREAT.SOO GENEROUS OF YOUR FRIENDS IN MISOURI.THAT'S COOL YOU FOUND ALL THE PARTS YOU NEED TO FIX IT GOOD.I THINK YOU CAN FIX JUST ABOUT ANYTHING.REAL INTERESTING.TAKE CARE YOU TWO.GOOD LUCK FIXING THE REST OF IT.IT'S HOT AS BLAZES HERE IN BERKELEY.WE'RE NOT USE TO THIS HEAT.HOBO KITTY DOES NOT LIKE IT AT ALL.♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡.........
Anything worth fixing is worth fixing right. If you fix it right, you only have to do it once. Old folks favorite sayings. Hope you are going to paint it blue for Wanda.
You could have wire brush the wheel and painted it red before putting the new black hub on i know paint dont get no work done but it looks good if you're going to paint the bush hog say DA
Could you see who manufactured your Rotary Cutter/Bush Hog ? I have an identical one but have no idea who the manufacturer/model is? I’d like to search out a manual and parts diagram for mine.
G. Crowell Thank you Mr Crowell. I was being a bit facetious with my comment 😆 which you probably picked up yourself 😄 But I couldn't see how even with sharpened blades it could cut into brush, or at least the big bushes Danny was pushing out around the borders of his property earlier this year. If it has a really strong chopping blade under the housing of that attachment I can see it chopping up sticks and low growing shrubs & bushes but maybe it can make bits of the taller stuff Danny knocks down & drags out. I'll look forward to seeing the rest of the renovation, our Danny does jobs right all the way down to the bones, doesn't he? No quick & dirty temporary fixes go on in DSH.
lisa norwood I think it's one of those "you need to grow up on a farm" type things Lisa. Makes my Flymo look more like an Electric Toothbrush rather than a Lawn Mower. 😂

The spindle for the rear wheel should have had 2 or 4 pieces of metal welded in place to keep the axle nut head from being able to spin.
I have a brush hog with a chain in the middle. Is there a certain setting to keep it from catching on the drive shaft.

You didn't paint the wheel before you fixed it. I just knew you would. Lol
Do you know where i might find a gear box at like the one you have on your bushhog.
If it's worth doing. Do it right. I can't agree more.
Mr Danny what the heck is a Bush Hog? Not a Pig in a Shrubbery is it?
