- In this video, Pilentum presents one of the largest model railroad exhibits in Germany. This model railway layout, mostly built with elements made by Marklin, represents Germany in the time after the World War II. Therefore, there are various combinations of trains and locomotives running on Germany's railway lines between 1950 and 1970. Another section that was added later, represents the modern era of German railway development.
Impressive, all these trains look too clean.
Awesome layout. Superb all around! Love the train speeds, so relaxing, unlike ones racing around.
Imagine shrinking to HO scale size and exploring this city!
Excelent model railway exhibition. Quality in every detalle. Danke.
Magnificent Model HO ! Thank you !.
A nice mix of close up, pan and overall shots would greatly improve the interest level
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!. I just wish that Herpa, Wiking, and Reitze, would bring out vehicle models in 1/76 scale for the uk market, for the uk modeller like me.
I wanted the Dammtor Station for my lay out.
Simply wonderful.
Marklin makes good stuff. Way over priced. I Liked the video, great job.
Yah, I had a set when I was younger but soon became discouraged at having to pay $50 for a single train car or $100 for a new locomotive. Then the track sets were not much cheaper $200. To get a really cool setup probably would cost 900-100 dollars. Then my friends who had Lionel trains had these really massive setups but here I was with a really cool detailed train set that I couldn't afford to expand.
I buy everything secondhand.
Got a lot from the thriftstore. :))
Amazing!
Superb!!!!!!!
Fantastic
I like your layout!
Impressive
Love the old German buildings!
John Monkus most were flattened by the American air force
Most of them are by Pola. These kits are very well-done and often come with weathering. They're rather expensive to get though.
@John Monkus - Watching this makes me feel like a trip back into the past 😊

whats with all the coughing and wising in the background?
They need to go home and have some chicken soup.
Just as well then that I have the sound muted and have Music playing while watching this 😁
Very nice but the trains only move EMPTY passenger cars !
That's right: Unfortunately, many model trains are not equipped with passengers.
Really, in the 70's we had windmills and 90's type trains?

pleasant layout but bad video quality, however not at the level to which Pilentum has accustomed us to (for example focus and depth of field...) ;-)
👍👍👍👌👌👌🌹😁😁😁
Wo steht diese Anlage?
Die Anlage steht in Fulda. Schau' mal unter www.modelleisenbahn-fulda.de nach.
Modelleisenbahn Fulda-Künzel leider geschlossen

😁😀👍👍👍👍👍🌹
There is no weathering, it's all to neat (sauber).
Schitterend

That tree on the airport had leaves bigger than humans.
ghehe
I've seen way better layouts on this channel.
Indeed, there are better layouts :-)
Can we see your superb layout?

Impressive, but all these trains look too clean.... Marklin should sell special packages for "weathering" locomotives and carriages, together with a good book or DVD on how to do it. How to add some "rust", "dirt" etc. Better one or two trains less, but with more sens of reality. Also, the curbs used on model train landscapes is generally not realistic at all. It's quite odd to see trains making such sharp turns, especially since the rails are lying completely horizontal...
Groß ist nicht gleich schön/gut - leider!?
Ich glaube mich daran zu erinnern, dass es diese Ausstellung auch nicht mehr gibt.
