Hey family! For those who’ve inquired about this method being new, it’s new to me😅 I’ve never seen anyone do the individual crochet passion twists, plaiting the roots and then twisting their natural hair before installing. I thought that was a new and innovative way to do them. It’s much less tension on my natural hair, and I’m such a fan! Thanks so much for watching! Hope that you all enjoyed this tutorial 🤗😘
UA-cam Gurus stay having me save money! 👏👏 I just installed some crochet individual braids from another youtubers tutorial. I will be doing these next! Thanks!
Beautiful! The easier way for me is twisting the natural braided hair on the passion twist in the direction of the curl instead of using latch hook. It stays super neat & never exposed. U could try it too
Girl you got me feeling like l can do anything 🤣🤣🤣 I completed my crochets for the second time. I learn something new every time l do them. You rock 😘🤗
As someone whose cornrow game is weak, I have been doing this method for years. However, it is so fitting I’m seeing this on Sunday because the partial braid and then twist is y’all doing the Lords work!!!
Very nice! I did my hair like this before knowing how tine consuming and difficult it is to do on yourself. For those of you who are contemplating its take a while and hair can become un-twisted during the conjoined process. I would highly recommend cornrows the back and do individuals in the front. However this is very beautiful look you won't be disappointed whatever method you decide❤😊
I have a hard time with pulling my hair through as well. Bird's eye view constructive criticism, your stylist did smaller portions. You and I are trying to pull our hair through in one pull. Love the method. Love your hair and make-up 😘
These are freakin beautiful!! I love it! This technique is always a challenge on the first couple of braids/twists but after you’ve gotten a hang of it, it’s a breeze.
Very pretty. It's actually easier to unravel the hair in the direction its twisted (not all the way just as long as your own hair) and then rerwist after u pull the twist thru. U get the same look and less work. 😍😍😍
I do this everytime I wear large crochet havana twist. Started doing this last year and it is one of my go to styles. Love it and it is so simple to do. Plus my hair loves this as a style. I always get compliments. Gorgeous as always.
This is an awesome method that I use instead of rubber bands. I find it to be a time saver and to prevent drying and tangling especially to the ends of my 4c hair. The twist helps the hair to manipulate easily (if I’m being lazy I’ll twist them to intertwine with the twist and not hook them) without stiffness and of course the braid good for anchoring. I don’t usually do mine this small but I like it!!!
This is exactly what I plan on doing with fretress water wave, wish I saw this hair before buying waterwave . I do my box braids like this also. It's so fast and easy. My parts be crooked tho lol 😂.
I'm so glad they are coming up with these new techniques of crocheting I use to hate crochets braids back in the day I never liked how the head line use to look and i actually have some in now that i love because of how she used the new technique
You always wear the best tops for the hairstyles you show. Thank you so much for showing me a new way of styling my hair that will protect hair breakage.
So my first time doing crochet braids was recent, and I wish I had seen this video before hand haha. I used the same kind of twists you are, because they are bomb. I spent all day braiding my hair so that I could individually install them, but I found out I didn't know how, so I took all those braids down and cornrowed my hair instead the next day (arms were sore). I will try again and use this twisting method and the tools I got to help hide them inside the twists like you demonstrate. Thanks for helping all us out here who are confused about doing their hair but want to look amazing like you
Yea.. I can't part the back of my head that well either so i asked someone to twist my natural hair only and she said 50 dollars.. I will struggle to do my own hair...
Thank you so much for making this video. I struggle with having individual braids in my hair too. I feel like I cause a lot of breakage too, so thank you. ❤
Simply beautiful hair and make up just flawless and on point! I am on my natural hair journey and getting so much fun hair ideas from you. Keep them coming.Great job!
I just did passion twists myself and my hair ended up showing through eventually smh. This method seems great at concealing your natural hair but I know it'll be hard to do my whole head like this. Whew I struggle with even the parting 😪
You just look like summer 😍🌞 I'm always for a crotchet look. I'm tender headed too so the plait-twist is always my method lol... Loving these braids on you🌞🌞💕💕
Um, I am sorry but this isn’t a “NEW” method... It’s called a “Brist” I also discovered these twists by Janet about two months ago and I have been rocking’ mine for almost 2 months and I continue to get compliments. Love them!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Aww... I’m so sorry! 😩😩😩Did you do regular passion twists? My sister did the normal passion twists and it took her soooo long! The individual crochet method is much faster📌
I struggle too, so I usually crochet the hair in the same way that she did but I can't pull my hair throughout the fake hair so I eneded up unraveling them and just twisting the hair around my hair. It looks fine. Yours looks beautiful
Thank you so much for sharing this! I can't do cornrows to save my life and I tried this out and it's not perfect for the first time but with practice I hope I'll get better. Thank you again.
You look Beautiful. I do Faux Locs, but I hide my hair by unraveling loc and placing on the inside of loc. This method that you friend is doing is more difficult for me. Go figure 😄

How long does it last? I just broke my arm and can't do my own hair for 3 months
I've sern it done..but I like the way you twisted your natural hair. Not tight please😵

🤗
Exactly! It's pretty cute on her but nothing new about it.its the same method they use for kinky twists.
Queen Kanu l didn't know that maybe Marry is Nigerian
I hope so!💕💞 Mary is the bomb!

This is the only way I do my hair. The tension free method has been helping me grown my hair and others for about 3 years now. Love love LOVE IT
Is the take down process easy?
I did this method on myself and killed it! I love love love the versatility of it. It suits you Mary.

I did this method on my daughter last year, her hair was shorter. Once you get it down it’s easy and I don’t hair at all. Love it Ms. Mary ❤️

Wow, the customer is so pretty. Her real hair is so thick, pretty and long. The twists are 🔥.
I have been doing this method for a year now. and I love it! it looks beautiful on you Mary.

Love these passion twists. So beautiful. I am tender headed too and I know for a fact that I would have struggled trying to do the method too.

Crochet all day! I’m never doing real twists or braids again. You look awesome too.
Thanks for demonstrating this new method. It looks like something I could easily try myself.
I had done this on my hair with locks and I love it. I never knew I could do it on myself. It don’t look like crochet at all
Yea.. I can't part the back of my head that well either so i asked someone to twist my natural hair only and she said 50 dollars.. I will struggle to do my own hair...

Love this Method it looks so easy and the hair looks so lightweight soft and natural❤
Beautiful as usual! Yes Ma'am the individual crochet method is what I use as well. It's not as long as the original method of crochet ❤️❤️❤️

Whew...😅Parting is suuuch a challenge for my 4 b 4 c hair! The struggle is real 🤣🤣

I love this style! Can't wait to try it!
I was looking for a twist that is more textured and will last longer. I think these are definitely it! They look great on you Mary!
Exactly. They actually look more textured than the 24inch version. I wonder if it lasts longer?
This is something I can do and it can save me a lot of money 💰!!! Thanks girl.
Beautiful, gorgeous! Definately a must try!
I love this but how do you remove it when it's time to take it out without damaging your natural hair?
Could you just unravel an cut the loop at the top.
I luv it Mary, just Gorgeous. Also luv ur top. It is so wimsical. I luv Floral, especially in Tops and Dresses. Thank u!
Mary with the wigs is cute, but when Mary with the braids come through; its over! Yass Mary girl, get it! #Maryall2020
