Muchas gracias e infinitas bendiciones.
Thank you for bringing this part of our world to us that will not get to see in person. Thank you for your conservation and educational work. You are an inspiration and a great communicator. I could listen all day.
Thank you for all that you do and thank you to Lex for showing it to the world. I've never been so moved as I was hearing you talk about the rainforest and the conservation effort. That little tree snake was awesome.
Your passion when you speak about the animals and rainforest is inspiring. Thank you for sharing and getting it into the world. Keep it up Paul! You’re making such a difference.
This is the most genuine, transparent, and heartfelt podcast I ever listened to. Such incredible humbleness and respect for nature and life. At the end @03:59:40, Paul's message should be engraved in stone, so that we can remember it every day when we go on with our lives.

There is something about this location that kept the conversation even more genuine and human than Lex’s podcast already are. This felt like a sincere late night fireside chat that I remember from when I was a kid when we would sit around the bonfire at midnight as the flames dwindled down and talk just for the sake of talking. Best way to show my appreciation for Lex and Paul is to donate to the Jungle Keepers. First time I've felt I could make an actual difference in the Amazon.
This has to be my favorite episode of any podcast ever. Paul has so much passion for nature and animals that I could listen to him talk about it all day. And shout out to Lex for going out to the jungle and experiencing it all first hand. Thank you Lex and Paul. ❤️ Lex wearing his signature suit and tie during this podcast is the cherry on top.
Paul is my favorite podcast guest. I really really wanna get a 4 hour in depth podcast with him ONLY discussing the people and culture. I wanna hear his stories of the ancient stuff and sites and legends and myths.
Our brother is in the Amazon rainforest, in a suit and tie, doing a podcast and at ANY moment a big cat could come out. Man, I’ve respected Lex the first time I saw him on the JRE but this is a whole new level. 😂 I freaking LOVE this dude.
Really...at ANY moment a big cat could come out? You haven't been paying attention at all to what Paul has been saying. These animals are more afraid of us then we are of them and they are extremely rare to come across.
Man, you need help on why you have to kiss this guys behind so badly. He's not your brother, he's no one's brother. He's doing (one of) his jobs and you can relax right about now, dude. You sound unhinged.

Right? It's mind-blowing the priceless information on youtube that has 1000’s of views, but mindless stuff has millions and millions. I guess it lets us know what side of the distribution we are on.. 😊

4+ hours sweating in a suit, covered by crawlies, showered with mosquitos, surrounded by predators, for the content! Lex you are an absolute legend. UA-cam should build you a gold statue!
It's actually the old world. But I get what you mean. But words are Power. The new world refers to the end of the natural jungle life we onced romantically danced with🌌
I love the dynamic of this interview compared to the first one they did. You can absolutely tell that the two of them went from interviewer/interviewee to really good friends and it completely shows in their interactions now.
I've been watching Lex since Episode #3. This is by far the best episode, hands down. There's a light in both of their eyes. And when Paul's favorite snake just so happens to enter the conversation, as Paul is talking about what they need in order to fulfill Jungle Keeper's dreams, I felt the jungle listening, laughing and enjoying their conversation. Unreal. Go Jungle Keepers!
I am wearing that same T-shirt right now and I feel so much joy and awe watching you two and hearing about your adventures in the jungle. 🍃 I am so grateful for the work you do with the Jungle Keepers out there, Paul and that I can support you! ❤ I love you guys. Really. Thank you!
Possibly one of the best podcast episodes I have EVER watched. Hats off to Lex for his humble curiosity and for doing this but mannnn Paul Rosolie is an absolute natural story teller and jungle boss. This was super wholesome.
Lex, I'm only 58 minutes in...just gotta say, everytime you laugh and smile, a light illuminates from you that I've never seen on you before. It's a true pleasure to see that this experience was transformative for you. Thank you for sharing this!
What a way to sully a compliment about Lex's illuminated soul, through this experience. It's unfortunate, that you can't appreciate or understand the depth of my comment. May we all learn to embrace the light, instead of the dark.
@@thesunnygroveyin ☯️ yang, friend. U need a bit of both dark and light to find balance. Take the Grey because it's there. Most times it's difficult to see. But when u get to it, it becomes a process of realization and transformation.
One of the most fascinating podcast episodes i've ever seen. Pauls knowledge of the natural world is just amazing; and Lex being the real deal that he is traveles to the jungle, in his suit, to give us this absolute gem.
At 2 hrs 9 minutes i had to take a break to just internalize the depth wit in this conversation which is a pendulum of humor and deep understanding of how we exist as a lifeform. This is arguably one of the best episodes that Lex has blessed us with. The suit in the middle of the rainforest is an indication to his dedication to this cause of just filling the internet with superb content. Thanks, Lex.
One of the best podcast on the internet. Period. To be able to share this interview, from a place of origins and context of this entire episode is wild to say the least. Being able to experience it then interview about it on a podcast, phenomenal. Watch the entire 4 hours, it's highly recommended.
Lex and Paul have SUCH a great vibe. You can see just how well they get along together. Shout out to Paul for everything he shares/teaches to all of us, and shout out to Lex for being himself as always. Love you too, fellow dudes and dudettes
I'm from Colombia, the 2nd country with most biodiversity in the world, and would love and pay for this kind of experience. Living the real Amazon experience must be a life changing experience. Getting to see all those creatures in the wild has no price. I've seen some of them a can relate to part of the experience, but getting deep in that kind of jungle ia something I'd like to do before I die. Congrats to both Paul and Lex for that experience and thanks for sharing it! 👏🙌
Man, Rosolie episodes are always fascinating. The entire topic of the Amazon Rainforest is mind blowing. The biodiversity and sheer force of mother nature. Always looking forward to these discussions.
You guys are both legends. You bring my inner child out. I have a 3 year old son, and he loves searching for bugs in our backyard. I always let him explore but show him to respect life. This gives me an old perception, a view on life I forgot about. It's in all of us! Raise these kids right, put effort into your time after work. Keep them busy with cool free things like nature! I love in Washington state, west of the cascades. Better believe we will be camping a lot. I'm not a hunter but fishing for salmon in our rivers is on the menu. Thank you both for creating these moments for people like me. 🙏
Keep on raising your children with compassion and kindness and they will show it to the world and their kids someday. Thank you for being someone who is genuinely connected to the planet we all call home.
I knew it, I knew it, I knew FREAKIN' it !! I HATE snakes and as the video began thought 'theres gonna be a scene when one pops up and its gonna screw up my entire day (yes, I have a true phobia). At least you gave me the heads up, and I thank you for this !! I hope its a short part of the episode.
Man, Lex is definitely looking like he's feeling it. Props to you, man! Not many people would be willing to go this far for what they love, very commendable.
The most amazing thing about lex’s podcast is the amount of perspective is shared. We get to imagine endless new ways of seeing planet earth. Regardless if it’s from a scientist, adventurer, martial artist, or politician.
Actually there're talking about serious things. Lex went to Amazon not to entertain everyone wearing a suit, in that way he's trying to attract humans attention to the problem in Amazon. In that way Lex and Paul really trying to save flora & fauna of Amazzonia
This isn't me saying anything about anything, but I haven't seen lex smile this much during an interview..again not saying nothing about nothing I enjoy all your content and don't think you don't enjoy yourself.just a nice thing to see you guys enjoying each other's time doing something you guys talked about for a few years
I just went thru the strangest deja vu with the jungle stories. I am now 68 yr old woman but at age 21 my anthropologist brother invited everyone in our family & friends to come visit him. I was the sole person who jumped at the chance. He is a renown primative nomadic indigenous Indian anthropologist and his first experience was the Ache’ on the Brazil and Paraguay border. Way to much to tell, and I rarely do as to what I saw and did for my month stay. I did go out with a group of around 5 families of male/female and their kids. The woman carried kids up to around 2 yrs either tied onto their heads or kids ride piggy back. It was to be a 5 day trip and the main goal was raw honey and they knew where to find it. I had a small light backpack and with 3 hrs of walking in this absolutely exhausting jungle, exactly as you described, I kept falling behind the group. The men seperate and are out with their bows killing monkey, armadillo and a large rodent that looked like a huge rat😂. The women told one of the kids around 10 yrs. To carry my pack and had the 5-6 children walk with me all day. These kids would climb a tree in an opening and continually find the adults. I tried to test myself and was always lost and redirected by the kids in minutes. Bottom line is water became all I thought about. When we finally came up to a small stream and I was so excited for clean water, the kids jumped in upstream and my clear beautiful water got churned up with mud. I started to cry & told my brother I couldn’t go further. He said exactly these words that I’ll never forget. “You can either sit down and you’ll be dead here, or keep walking and don’t think about any other thing than continual movement. I watched them kill a live monkey by swinging it by its legs and the head hit a tree trunk. Then they seared the hair off on our night fire and then took a knife and scraped off the hair. They flipped this monkey over and over, cooking it on the fire. The man then crack off the head and handed it off to the kids who seemed to be sucking out the brains. I was so out of my element and tried to watch and learn but reacting to everything with my own emotions. I tried to eat some armadillo but I couldn’t even taste the monkey. I ate very little. Day 2 at night camp the males told my brother that I’m holding up the group and won’t make it and so they are sending me back with the kids to the base living area. I lived off some hard candies I took in my pocket and charcoal sweet rice. Amazing the kids got me out of the jungle and back to my shack that I stayed in. This is the shortest most simplified version I can give you to tell you how your stories took me back to that time. I am sooooo thankful I went. I got to truly step thru a time tunnel and see how life for us humans started. The stories could be regurgitated for hours of how many strange and bizarre things I experienced. I love that you are a kindred spirit and when given the chance, you went. Thank you!
The fact that we are watching you in the jungle while it gets dark is the most beautiful present you could have given us in this podcast, besides the captivating talk and yourselves as beautiful humans. Thank you!
When he said he was leaving to go to the jungle, I certainly wasn't expecting a podcast recorded there! Fantastic work, interesting conversation, I'm so glad they shared this. And the suit..👌
I watched the first video between Lex and Paul. I enjoyed it so much that i went to rewatch it and stumbled across #2. It’s such a genuine connection these two share, like a true friendship. It’s nice to see Paul share his knowledge and to see Lex as interested and connected as i am with his stories and knowledge . Love the chemistry of these two 😊
I usually listen to these just by audio, so I went out of my way to make sure to look at the picture too for this one, to manually force myself to appreciate where and how this was done. Incredible.
This is the first podcast that makes me hesitant to click off of because these two genuine souls know how to capture attention of the conscious individuals still kicking and screaming for some harmony in this chaotic world
Paul in this environment is unlike any other podcast I've ever watched with him.maybe it's because he's not in the civilized world with all of its distractions... He has a way of portraying emotion through his words which I've never seen before, making me a lot more engaged. Excellent podcast
The fact that I can watch, learn and get inspired by the conversation of these two amazing humans for free is what I am grateful for today. Thank you, Lex. Thank you, Paul.
1:17:00 The reason smaller animals can handle heavier things relative to their size is that muscles are primarily 2D structures, while body volume is 3D. As an animal gets larger (say, twice the size), its muscle cross-sectional area increases proportionally to the square (2 x 2 = 4 times), but its body weight increases proportionally to the cube (2 x 2 x 2 = 8 times). This means that a larger animal has a proportionally smaller amount of muscle relative to its weight, making it less strong relative to its size.
Lex has got a certain glow radiating from him like I've never seen before. I can tell he has had and is still having a life transforming trip to the jungles in the mountains of S. America. He's still a young man learning about life... Kudos to you, Lex! I'm very grateful for all you do. Thank you
I actually posted this before he started sweating. When he started sweating, I was pretty sure my reply would get this response. He was glowing before he then started really glowing from sweat...lol.
I commend both of you, you have inspired myself and countless others. Speaking of life on earth from this perspective brings me to tears and evoked very deep emotions. Thank you.
Absolutely loved Paul's answer on if we live in a video game. We're so stuck in our cement boxes, isolated from nature, we don't even perceive reality anymore.
It’s by design, we can’t deal with nature in all its glory and chaos. We are what we are cause we shield ourselves from nature while also taking advantage of it

Buffoonery.

Paul Rosolie really showed me a new world with this Amazon stories.
I’m 75 years old and I’ve listened to and read many many ideas and stories and truths but I have to say this is a fucking awesome conversation.
Agreed!
Keep counting years my friend, and stories, conversations, etc. will follow!
U ain't 75 😂and the theory of aliens pissed of Paul, Lex is an idiot sometimes
Agreed. Incredible podcast
His episode with Rogan was also the best of JRE
It’s beautiful! You couldn’t have said it better 😊
Going to be hard to top this one Lex. You've interviewed a lot of amazing people but for me Paul is easily the most fascinating.
I am wearing that same T-shirt right now and I feel so much joy and awe watching you two and hearing about your adventures in the jungle. 🍃
I am so grateful for the work you do with the Jungle Keepers out there, Paul and that I can support you! ❤

Possibly one of the best podcast episodes I have EVER watched. Hats off to Lex for his humble curiosity and for doing this but mannnn Paul Rosolie is an absolute natural story teller and jungle boss. This was super wholesome.

The suit is so iconic. Thank you for years of top level content Lex
This is Lex's BEST pod to date. Good luck topping this one. Travel pods are the future.

Man, Rosolie episodes are always fascinating. The entire topic of the Amazon Rainforest is mind blowing. The biodiversity and sheer force of mother nature. Always looking forward to these discussions.
This is the first podcast. I’ve listened to that takes place in the middle of the jungle.
Two passionate guys having a cozy conversation in the jungle, what's not to like.
Paul genuinely may be one of my favorite humans on the planet. I love how passionate he is about all life. I could listen to him all day.
You sound like a great parent! Keep it up, the rewards you'll reap are countless.
The next adventure should be you taking him to the amazon rainforest!
Keep on raising your children with compassion and kindness and they will show it to the world and their kids someday. Thank you for being someone who is genuinely connected to the planet we all call home.

Paul has to have his own Netflix or NatGeo show or documentary, soon!

He mentioned in the intro that they did drink “jungle juice” but I’m quite certain that they were not doing it while the pod lasted.
Actually there're talking about serious things. Lex went to Amazon not to entertain everyone wearing a suit, in that way he's trying to attract humans attention to the problem in Amazon. In that way Lex and Paul really trying to save flora & fauna of Amazzonia

Thank you!
What a crazy story Teri

anybody else love how it slowly gets darker throughout the episode? Brilliant.
Nice!
