Sir My daughter is 7 years she is suffering from nephrotic syndrome fsgs when she was 2 years old ...she was on predisone ,responsed well but relapsed after stopping the predisole course after 3 years ,after checking kidney sample found that she has fsgs nefrotic syndrome and after that started cyloposrone,no relapse for 2 years she responsed very well.after completing the cyloporsne course she had relapse ..she is again back to predinisole 5mg alternate days...please suggest whats best course for good treatment for fsgs in particular and solution to cure this completely ..and untill what age this will go on..please help
Hi, your daughter's treatment is going as per protocol from your description. As far as how long nephrotic syndrome can go on... unfortunately there is no answer. But usually it is seen that it gets controlled by 18 years but that is also no guarantee. What we can do is control the relapses whenever they happen.

Hi, this must be because she must be having infections during this period. If it is happening without infections, then your child will be probably having steroid dependant nephrotic syndrome.

Depends if it is nephrogenic or central diabetes insipidus.
Central can be treated with medicines. Nephrogenic is difficult to treat.
