New Mom & Dad “Survival Kit” Gift Ideas

- This is a video that might give you some ideas to give a new mom and dad to let them know you’re thinking about them. I wanted to put some gift cards for things like fast food for those nights that can be hectic with a baby and you just don’t feel like cooking along with gift cards for a night out to a movie “date night” etc. but unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to do that. Time got away from me and afterwards I thought of other things I could have added so I will need to keep some of these in mind for the future. There are so many different ideas that can be used to create a gift basket, just use your imagination. I love socks that are infused with the aloe, it definitely feels soothing on aching and tired feet. I found those at Walgreens, I think Walmart puts them out around Christmas 😊

Andrea, after I did these I realized I wanted to add in some gift cards for restaurants/fast food and a movie/date night but time snuck up on me and I completely forgot. Our Dollar Tree has been really good with the candy, a little too good lol. I really wanted to include my SIL for that very reason and he really liked it which made me happy :)

I love the idea of having a basket like this waiting for her when she walks in the door with baby ❤️❤️❤️ btw, I love the Beatrix Potter shower decor. I had a Beatrix Potter nursery for my kids 30 years ago. I love how’s its made a comeback.

I know the waiting for the birth is hard my daughter was due Aug. 8 and he was born Aug.10 We’ve always loved Beatrix Potter and my daughter did his nursing in the same theme as well.
