Evening Wayne. Hope you're well and enjoying life. Most things I agree with you and I'm by nature old fashioned and don't believe changing something that works. The old saying if it's not broken don't fix it. So dongle rig.... Bin it or put a hook on the bottom. One hook good, two hooks better. I'm sure people say they have results with them but to me trying to reinvent the wheel. Stick with what you know and catch on. Nice pulley pennel ... Sorted. You wouldn't take a three hook flapper and take a hook off and say an improvement. Rant over lol. Keep up the great videos. Stay safe well and happy and yes get to Chesil soon as 👍👍

Fished hard and walked miles …. 2 slake liner’s and missed both ? On pulley rigs !!! Sunday afternoon was bloody windy at low water but did me good !!! All the best

I had the same with the dongle Wayne, I was missing bites, but since I’ve slightly shortened the length of the dongle and leaving bites a little longer my catch ratio has risen but what give me huge confidence was smashing my pb bass on my last session twice along with 5 hounds all caught on the dongle! Keep with it and it will come good 👍🏻

Looks like you are having a tough time of it at the minute mate, but it wasn't that long ago you smashing the rays and bass. Still a really great watch as always. It's nice to see someone else having a go withe the dongle, I know loads of people use them with success, but I've struggled with them since using them, and also struggle to get my head around losing a hook, but finally got into a couple of hounds with them last night, my first double. Thank you for all your time and effort dude, and live the new logo👍👍🎣🎣

Well, after finding out there are Bass on my local beach im trying a dongle this year. Plus I saw a Ray this year for the first time in years so going for it. One rod for flatties, one for bigger, and a lure rod. Should keep me busy!

I fished the knap in Barry last night and a sorry sight on walking down the pebbles another angler had left dog fish alone the bank 😢 I fished a dongle and a pennel and to be fair it was pretty quiet I blanked on the dongle but landed a my fist double figure fish on the pennel a 10lb11oz small eyed ray 😊 getting used to the Cobra GT's really nice way to round off my first 12 months of fishing keep the videos coming bud

It's a hit and miss mark bud. I've blanked there many, many times lol. It's seems to fish better at night and an easy mark

Hi Wayne not to sure about dongle rigs unless for live bait keep plugging away with pulley pennell rigs and keep catching .I thought that tree was the lochness monster that'll make a change from a kayak😂😂 enjoy your kebab 😊 stay safe and tight lines

Would it be worth tying a j hook on the bottom of a dongle, while having the circle tied with a perfetion loop? That way you get the pennel set up and the extra pivot ofmhaving the circle in a loop? Be honest ajd tell me if im talkijg out my backside there!

Hi mate, it's a good idea but it's two separate rigs. A dongle should have 1 hook and a pulley two in my opinion

Tried your best as usual mate but again the dongle just doesn't seem to work for you. Think you have to revert back to what you know works. Better luck next time take care and tight lines 😊
I think you are correct buddy, there is times ot works and times it doesn't hey.
Regarding your comment on sniffing underwear..... your supposed to sniff underwear when it's still in the laundry bin, not when they are on the washing line . Just sayin 😅😅😅😂😂
It's more hassle getting into people's bedrooms these days. Not a nimble mate 😄
