You are very welcome, and yes... the more one has suffered, the more they can appreciate a technique or exercise that helps.

hello i have been diagnosed by magnetic x ray that i have a kind of spondylolysis due to an injury while playing football(and i have went to almost 10 doctors and spine experts and they all have told me different things)i have been with this for 1,5 years only in the last 4 months someone told me to do physio therapy and start to to some stretching things .but since I am a really keen into exercising (with dumbells )so i would like to see if u knew how to exercises the important parts in the body(in terms of aesthetics mainly but anything would be great)while having spondylolysis/Spondylolisthesis and all the different exercises u can and cant do. I would really appreciate it

Yes, but the exercises need to be based on a thorough analysis of your body mechanics and spine stability issues. You can get started with an advanced rehab expert near you locally, but also by taking the basic body analysis available at painfreeandfit.com and then using the programs there to build your routine, or consulting online with myself ( info also at painfreeandfit.com).

I have learned so much from your videos and other material during the years. One thing is bizarring to me: I always get back pain from stretching of the lower back, even when I try to do mild versions. The muscles are very tight in especially in the mornings. I have 1.5 cm olisthesis and nerves pinched on both sides; being active and using NSAIDs keep me going quite well even though a surgery might be awaiting. Do you have any hints, or maybe I just focus on the exentric strengthening exercises that do not cause pain so much afterwards?

Stretching and mobilization exercises are for those cases where pain is due to tightness, while stabilization exercise and conditioning is much more of a priority when pain is due to excess motion at the spinal segment.

Hi Dr Remy, what weightlifting or strength/muscle building exercises do I have to choose from with a pars fracture?

A routine is designed to strengthen your ability to avoid the motions, positions and loads that aggravate your pain. This stems from knowing what your spinal stability issues- weaknesses, muscle imbalances, posture and movement faults- are. Check out painfreeandfit.com to learn a basic body analysis and then use the programs available there to build your routine.
