- Hello and welcome to my latest ASMR video; writing a list of all the Formula One Grand Prix World Champions from 1950 to date. A little mistake at the end, embarrassingly, but I quickly corrected it..
You say it’s not a great achievement, but to me this is very impressive. To name all the WDC’s from 1950 to date isn’t something most f1 fans can do, so props to you my friend
Well thank you. I remember learning them when I was a kid. Not fluent with the constructors though.
I got into F1 last year, through some friends of mine (not through DTS, like many modern fans!), and one of my first memories of F1 is the Grill the Grid video where Sebastian Vettel does virtually the same thing. It was impressive to me when he did it, and it's still impressive to me when you do it. Very nostalgic for me, and well done to you! Lovely video.

Thanks. I memorised them when I was a kid. The list was a lot shorter back then! I used to know the winners of every GP in the eighties from memory, but that’s faded over the years.
Have you seen the F1 video where Seb named them all from memory with no preparation? You’re up there with the 4-time world champ!
Also you should definitely try to do race winners lol, there’s really not as many as you’d expect once you take away world champs.
Thanks! I’ve not seen the Vettel thing, but others have mentioned it. Me being able to recount the champion’s doesn’t seem like much of an achievement to me, as I learnt them when I was a kid, when the list was a lot shorter! I could have a bash at race winners. I know a fair few names and numbers, but not all of them. That would be tricky.
@@BattalionRustASMR it's brilliant when Seb and firmer champs count the list down as certain years they can just say 'me'. Mick said, 'dad' for Micheals championship years and that really is an emotional heartwarmer.
