The hunt is real! I spend hours and hours each week, combing through thrift stores, estate sales, auctions, flea markets & Antique centers ... to bring home the goods and prepare them for selling in my Ebay store, my antique booth and on Facebook Marketplace, which fully supports me.

Full lashes look great on camera but “one at a time” lashes look more natural. You always have great makeup.
Karen…..with you sharing going to the auction, it reminded me of a time when I was at a thrift store and opened a drawer to a dresser. Well…..I opened it up with a mouse/rats nest in it, with babies! I just about crapped and since that time, over 30 years ago, I don’t open any drawers! Lol

I remember shopping second hand in late 70 and 80's used to love it so much ..we could get a bag full of whatever you could stuff into the bag for a 1.00 or 2

These lashes might be good for special event, but I do prefer the others as they are both pretty and natural looking. ❤

Karen, I like the individual lashes on you because they look natural, like you were born with them. You can achieve the fuller lashes effect with eyeliner and have the comfort throughout the event that you're accustomed to, regarding beauty and vision. : ) Love Johnny Was designs. They've got Funky Elegance. Kudos for stitching up that little Italian, cashmere sweater.

Joseph Horne was a wonderful clothing store in Pittsburgh, PA back in the day. They were founded in 1849 & closed in 1994 when they merged with Lazarus. That sweater is GORGEOUS & almost certainly vintage. Nice to see you saved it from the landfill! Thanks for the good memory from my childhood!😊❤
I had a Johnny Was top that I bought second hand for myself. It was long sleeved, and after a year I hadn't worn it here in AZ. I put it on Ebay and it sold in 5 mins. It was that fast!

I agree with some of the other comments on your eye lashes. I think they look to heavy and drag your eye lids down making your eyes look smaller. I love the wood items and the Danish furniture that was in the auction.
The Anthroplogy jacket is lovely, what you described as a gathered seam / dropped waist is called a peplum
I enjoy when you share pulling your sold items.
When you pulled the blue frosted vase I wondered how you will be packaging it for shipment. Would you consider showing how you package your items, I think that would be so interesting.
I used to work at Lord and Taylor in the 70's and again in the 90's, wore alot of Jones NY then. Sadly L & T and some of the better stores retail are gone, so the better labels are harder to find now.
so thankful for a clothing haul - love to hear what you pickup and what sells for you. I find we all have different stores and different audiences who are attracted to our shops.
You look beautiful with your "regular" lashes. These look great on my monitor but Get an opinion from someone in person up close to be sure. Love the Haul Videos. Love the Thrifting Videos. I love the lashes Karen...I still wear strip lashes and have for years. I thought maybe you had gotten extensions. My hairdresser has been trying to talk me into trying professional extensions...I'm an avid Ardell Faux Mink Demi Whisp gal. I really like full lashes. I use a toothpick to get in the corners. I sometimes shorten the lashes by trimming them also.

I’m never a fan of eyelashes to be honest, I do think the more natural looking, the better. I think your individual ones are lovely. So to me these you are wearing, and yes I did notice them, pryer to your mention of them. That said, to me from here, closes your eyes a bit too much. Your eyes are so pretty, more eye is best in my 😢😢opinion. But In The end, you need to be happy with whatever your look is💗💗💗

I used to love to go to the auctions... you got my juices going again! Right now I care for my 91 year old mom with dementia so I'm fortunate to go to the Thrift store on my way home from work.... some day.....

So glad you still get to thrift. Respect for taking care of your 91yr old mum very hard when they have dementia. Take care and stay strong.
I am also taking care of my mom with dementia (she's 92) and lives with us. Many blessings to you- I know from experience that it is extremely hard. Try to look out for yourself- that's important.

I had a favourite denim jacket in 1990. It was a Levi's light wash perfect fit waist length biker jacket. I had worn it in and it was perfect. I lost it on the Greek island of Ios, dreadfully young and drunk on everything in life. I made a handsome Swedish fireman walk through the streets of the moonlit sleeping island to help me find it. Alas, we didn't. I would buy another one, if it was the right one, and I'd pay up for it too.

I like the individual lashes because if they fall off it’s not noticeable otherwise I’d get a whole lash falling off in my guacamole I’d have a hard time fixing it in a pinch. But that’s why you are doing the test? Have you tried the magnetic liner kind?

Karen, I so agree about finding the quality, sometimes you can just look at something and know it has integrity behind it. So many times I can feel a piece of apparel made so well but have never heard of the brand. You found so many beautiful pieces, this was wonderful to watch.
