- A video from a while ago on a flight I took from Calgary to Edmonton on Westjet Encore. Included on this video is boarding the plane in Calgary the whole flight including in flight service and leaving the plane in Edmonton. Shot on an icam S3000

they just mean your device has to be in airplane mode they don't mean completely off
@@thegamingaviator13 No they meant they needed to be completely turned off until after takeoff. At the time this was filmed WestJet Encore had not been approved for PED’s on all phases of flight. If they meant airplane mode they would have said it.

This video is EXTREMELY creepy and filmed very poorly... I also know for a fact that several minutes of this video should NOT have been filmed as at the time WestJet Encore required ALL electronics to be completely powered off.

@Timothy Simpson You might not have because PED's were allowed on all phases of flight on that aircraft. At the time this was recorded PED's were not allowed on all phases on WestJet Encore flights.
@@thegamingaviator13 And you must be a right creep if you think anything about this video is ok. I know the FA being filmed here and she was extremely creeped out by this. She's too nice to actually say what she wanted to say herself. Also the reason I pointed out that parts of this video should never have been filmed is that whomever filmed it didn't care to actually listen to the crew's instructions and it just shows how little respect they have for the airline and it's staff. BTW I'm a great party guest...
@@justschr okay fine the staff being filmed without permission is too far that I will give you, but cameras don’t exactly have to be turned off for flight, they aren’t sending signals unless you go to wirelessly upload them to a phone etc
@@justschr I hope you at least can tell this guy had no foul intentions. Just like the 100s of other av geeks like myself, who like to film when they fly to share the experience, sure he shouldn’t have filmed the flight crew, and if Encore really had a thing with PEDs at the time then he shouldn’t have filmed I agree, but he had no foul intentions.
