SES Guardian of Honor reporting: as a PlayStation player, first hearing about the incident...it was very difficult for me especially since I play with PlayStation for 20 years, so I did what I had to do.... Go against the gaming company I grew up in to help our PC friends and it was an extremely difficult weekend...but now we did it and I'm crying... Sweet Liberty we won and now we can fight again as siblings in arms! I salute all who fought very hard for this cause! o7

The way the entire helldivers community rallied against the PSN enforcement for the simple reason it would cut off players from 177 nations is the true embodiment of this motto.

It was rough seeing the community tear itself apart and having to deal with troll who were just causing trouble on the AH discord server or looking to cause AH suffering, but I'm astounded by what the community managed to achieve. This is an IRL victory for Liberty, the Helldivers helped Arrowhead change the mind of the billion-dollar corporate publisher and showed that we do not have to bow down to our modern dystopia, we can fight it and win! Hopefully all the locked regions will be able to play again soon, well done Divers.

Ngl, some of these lyrics hit a lot harder than I expected. "We'll rebuild Super earth" got me a lil bit. Never before have we so blantently had to damage what we love to protect it from a worse fate.
It’s amazing, Arrowhead was so good at forging a community through camaraderie that we come together not only to fight in-game threats to Super Earth, but irl threats as well. This deserves a tall sip of liber-tea, people.

I'd love to see this refined and played without AI. The instrumentals and refrain of "we dive together or not at all" go HARD.
I love how, aside from the ingame slogans, the community comes up with their own motos, and "we dive together or not at all" is my favorite one by far.
This is an amazing victory and we deserve to revel in it, but this feels like a Tukayyid victory. And to explain why; Sony once again updated their FAQ's saying a PSN account is not CURRENTLY required to play PS online games, meaning they may try this again. For those who don't know(and this is gonna be a VERY rough summery) Tukayyid, in the Battletech Universe, the colonized human space known as the Inner Sphere was invaded by technologically advanced outcasts that went to claim earth, but the warring powers of the Sphere banded together and exploited the honor rules of the invaders, striking a deal that if the Sphere beet the invaders on a planet called Tukayyid, the invasion would stop for 50 years. And like the Sphere on that planet, we won a major victory, but the window for them to try again is still there. Dive on, celebrate, but be on the look out.
