The more I think about it, the more I realize, that Bolt's 200m WR is about as hard to beat as his 100m WR! Noah Lyles, for example, has already almost reached the absolute limit in maintaining speed in the second half of 200m race. So to be WR contender, not only you need superb top speed endurance, but also superb acceleration!
Lyles set the USA record 19.31 in a race he gave his all , I don't think he will smash 19.19 anytime soon. He has the potential to run the second fastest time under 19.26 if he flies like Bolt

Yes I agree, because history shows before Bolt the 200m world record was always less than double the 100m world record. If you double Bolt's 100m time it is 19.16, so he was capable of running quicker than that.

Guliyev ran 20.09 to win in 2017, but Bolt ran 19.55 to win in 2015 (Guliyev 6th in 20.11) and 19.78 to win the Olympics in 2016 (Guliyev 8th) so he never beat Bolt and he never really got close .. he set his PB of 19.76 to become European champion in 2018, so he was still improving. Bolt's other world championship winning times were 19.66 in 2013, and 19.40 in 2011.
