With the Dragon Fire being so powerful, I actually would have liked to see an arc (possibly spanning seasons) where, after Bloom unlocks her true power, she can’t control it and it causes issues. Like her having an outburst and accidentally starting a fire or attacking someone without meaning to because she got mad at them. People don’t want her to use her powers because it’s so dangerous.
@@nicodashie sort of. The live action has a lot of issues that don’t make this work. One being that they changed Bloom’s personality so that she’s more “rebellious” and she does some of the torching on purpose. As to where Bloom in the cartoon would be very apologetic and insecure and it would push her to the point where she would worry that everyone around her thinks she’s a monster. The live action also has her have a ridiculous amount of power in season 1 that she can wield to some amount of success, despite the fact that she was raised without magic and the magic has been suppressed inside of her for years. What I’m proposing is that she unlocks a good chunk of her power in season 2 after struggling to learn how to even get her magic to work in season 1. She would try to use her power with the same amount of force as before and end up setting things on fire and hurting people because she’s used to putting a lot of effort into getting a little bit of magic. Kind of like Midoriya getting One-For-All in My Hero Academia and having to learn how to put small amounts of effort into his actions so his own power doesn’t break his body.
I'd also love the anicent magic idea Cal made with this, as It's more powerful but doesn't know how to control/use it in a away against newer magic but there's also the fact that ancient magic probably doesn't have too many spells against it so they wouldn't know how to counter her attack.
There is a fanfic that rewrites the series doing that. Veiled wings and panoramas is the series. currently the author is rewriting season 2. I do enjoy it.
I love how your rewrite isn't too complex and I can see it actually being how they would write it. I wish shows wouldn't go on so long, I think of mlp when it's stories end. Mlp has generations and new characters, literally they just had a new movie of a new group. That's what more shows need to do, have spinoffs that deal with the world and new people instead of the people who have already defeated their shortcomings.
I agree, I used to love the show, but even as a kid I got tired of all the focus on Bloom after the first season. And I really wish they hadn’t continued the Winx’s stories after season four. I refuse to acknowledge that there was more than than those four seasons.
Can I ask a quick question? I was never able to watch the series (my parents wouldn't let me) and by the time I had access only s7 was available on Netflix =/. Are there any good witches in Winx? I just wondering since alot of shows paint witches in a bad light.
Yeah, it's been a while but I vaguely remember the schools coming together to fight some big threat or something, so yes, the majority of witches in that school were good. As far as I'm aware, the Trix were the only bad witches
As someone who grew up with the Nick version (and found the RAI version through UA-cam) I never really got the hate for Bloom until I actually went back and saw how much more focus she had compared to the other main characters. I get she’s the main character but barely left any room for the other characters compared to season 1. Bloom isn’t a badly written character but she takes up everyone else’s character development and it kinda falls flat. The redesign is amazing and gives more of a dragon thematic to fuel her being the fairy of the dragon flame!
I didn't understand either since the va made her barrable but hearing the rai version i can understand how her not having a personality would become a problem
I would say she's badly written because she's bland even in S1-4.She supposedly a hothead, but the one time that's relevant it's because of an BS plot/character asspull.Every other member has something distinct to them. But Bloom doesn't have this. The closest thing she had as her drawing hobby which mean she has an artistic side, but that's very rarely brought up which is a huge, missed opportunity. And the other Winx also had things happen to them in their pasts, that affect how they act now which means we can empathize and root for these characters to overcome the obstacles. Bloom lacks this. Every season shit happens to her,but it never seems to affect her beyond a single episode. It's the same thing every single season. Just take S1:a group of witches stalked and attacked not only her,but her friends because she had a power. Those same witches also psychologically tortured her, threatened to kill her parents, and took her power using it for war against Magix. And on top of that, the guy she liked lied to her about who he was and about having a girlfriend Come S2,none of this affects her. She's together with Sky and trusts him like none of the Day of Royals mess happened and it seems like the war didn't change her either. If you're going to make a character in a group take up most of the screentime, then that better be justified by that character being interesting and she's just...not.
I randomly remembered this now, but isn't it funny how Bloom and Sky have been engaged since the movie and never married until now while Bloom's sister got married in a single season right after coming back to life? 😅 Edit: at least that's what I'm told and what I remember, I don't have the courage to watch Winx again 😌
@@Catathyst Really? Okay, I was thinking it never happened but now I think it's really saturated 😅 I just don't have the courage to watch Winx again, I'm fine having only seen part of the sixth season even though I don't remember everything.
Something that goes unnoticed is the non-canon edition of one of the winx club comics. See, there Roxy has a roommate, Kyral, who constantly tries to do things the easy way and uses (restricted) spells to cheat on tests. She accidentally releases an elemental golem and the winx (including Roxy) fight against it. In the end, her roommate uses the only spell she is good at and shrinks the golem so it can't absorb magic from the fairies anymore (that was how to defeat it) it was really good in my opinion, and it doesn't just make the old generation the focus. It instead focuses on how Kyral learns from her mistake, and she is actually punished by having to retake all her tests and I think she had to make it up to the librarian lady. I just she wasn't solely a comic character. (Btw, I like the former idea, but the latter works really good as well. I love Bloom's design!
I like the idea of the other girls having different "sparks" left behind by the primordial dragon but I'd prefer it if the girls gained access to that power in different ways unlike bloom who was born with dragon flame. Maybe they had to channel their "sparks" through certain artifacts or other entities who conceal the power and only let certain fairies wield the power.
I'm sorry, but when you mentioned Nickelodeon making Winx Club more childish, I just thought of how they changed Nabu's proposal to Aisha. "Forever girlfriend". Why? 💀
I'd love to see Tenca in a Callimarix transformation. I feel like she gets so little love which sucks cause she was always my favorite (and was based off of my favorite music artist)
@@straww_berryyy P!nk 🤩 And if you didn't know, all the girls were based off of famous women, Bloom was Cameron Diaz, Stella was Brittney Spears, Musa was Lucy Liu, and Flora was Jennifer Lopez!
@@47ratsinahoodie omggg thank you for the information 🤩 I always thought there were similarities between them WOW I think my two braincells are exploding with this information🤪
I love how you did her wings! I was always a little disappointed that the creators never went fully into the whole dragon design with Bloom, despite it being her magical powers
i would love to see you redesign one of the ever after high charas! maybe raven or apple? you dont have to but i just would love to see them in your art!! love winx club, im so glad you did a video on it!!! winx was one of my favs growing up :)
@@marleybonestheiii2195 I agree. Their outfits were amazing. I would actually like to see her make an OC in the EAH Universe - an outfit for each storyline. And even a background/storyline for that character.
I remember watching this show as a kid. Only got to season 2 not because I didn’t like it I was just a busy kid. Probably should rewatch it. I would love to see you design Tecna I think it would be an interesting challenge to design the fairy of technology in a more fantastical theme.
Same! I don't even think I got tk season 2, but I definitely at least watched season 1. Absolutely loved it, but never got any further. I would love to see her Calimarex version of all the girls.
if you will ever rewatch the winx club ever again then I recommend you the first 3 seasons with 1 movie. - The season 4 isnt that bad but it has some things that dont make sense - the second movie is also good but after watching the season 4 you will get a feeling that something is not right in this movie - - the other seasons [5-8 along with the third movie] are ok but most of the people dislike them due to a bad story writing and other things - WoW is a spin-off but it's a good serie that has 2 seasons :)
I'm down for it if we get a similar reboot like yours. I would get my roommates to pay for it and re-watch it with my old childhood heart before the depression hit me, and people started to think that everything had to become edgy. Bloom looked amazing.
To be fair, the season 8 art style of Winx Club DOES look like Ever After High, but on a budget of a loonie and pocket lint-Ever After actually has really good visuals Also please redesign Techna next, if you can, her first fairy form design hurts me with how bad it is-
I really love the first idea because it focuses on Bloom and her development and a struggle to connect with her heritage in a meaningful way which could tie into and make it so she grows closer to the other winx that have similar issues like Musa struggling to connect to the memories of her mother and the music of her family/planet, Stella struggling to connect to the lunar side of her powers because of her strained relationship with her mother, and Techna and how she was treated as a kind of robot because she’s detached but incredibly compassionate. I feel like all of these would give way to more individual world building for the winx, their heritage and how they interact with their powers.
I think that the dragon flame is archaic magic could be interesting given that many archaic enemies work with new ones, such as Darkar & the Trix. You could also go the route that the Wizards of the Black Circle only eat archaic types of magic, meaning that if Bloom fights them, she just makes them more powerful. This could put Bloom into a support role, having her focus on trying to undo the wizards magic from the sidelines while the rest of the girls fight the Wizards head on.
First: this design is absolutely stunning! You did an amazing job. Second: hearing about you talk about the show’s downfall kinda solidifies my belief that so many studios Paramount (Nickelodeon), Disney( and Marvel and Star Wars by extension) Netflix, Warner (CN, HBO, DC comics), Etc. are all at this point creatively bankrupt.
Yeah, I'm starting to enjoy animes or a few more adventureous shows a lot more, or just running out of things to watch because it's all just cash grab click bait now rather than new stuff.
@@ThatOneLadyOverHere not just that, but the pandering, also the people behind them are just as bad if not worse. All you have to do is say you don't like a detail about something they put out and all of a sudden a bunch of shit is levied against you with no proof at all. If I may recommend it I would say watch channels owned by people who used to work in comics and/or for the behemoths. Comics Artist Pro Secrets, and Clownfish TV are great ones, without them I would not know not just how notoriously spiteful the people at these companies are, but especially in the case of Marvel how notoriously bad they are at paying their employees. One had to practically beat Marvel over the head just to get his paycheck because they're a bunch of penny pinchers, and even though he doesn't work for them they try to weasel out of paying him royalties for characters he's created for them that happen to appear in movies/shows.
The rewrite about having multiple sparks of the dragon flame would be awesome and it could become so important to create a moral problem where the girls' friendship is tested because they don't know if their powers made them so close and friends or are they, real friends.
You always have the best ideas when it comes to rewrites and redesigns! Winx Club was my whole childhood and I absolutely adore your take on Bloom, she looks so elegant, powerful and mystical in this drawing! ♥ Hoping to see the other girls in the future (especially my girl Flora), and as for the two storylines you proposed about the Dragon power, I think I'm just like you, partial to all six main girls getting a bit of the spotlight and power, that would have been so cool and honestly I wish it was like that in the actual show ! xD edit: sorry to add this, I'm writing as I watch your video, but Domino IS actually mentioned again, and we actually see Marion and Oritel alive and well starting about... Season 5 or 6, I think? I don't have the best memories of the show after the first movie, but it is actually canon! (Bloom and Sky's engagement, however... It's been so many years and I'm still waiting for their wedding xDD)
Love your redesign, it’s amazing! The amount of White-washing in the recent seasons is crazy. I also like to pretend there isn’t a live action show. Fate? Huh? Is that something I can eat?
One of the most amazing child cartoons. It's so diverse...if only mordern corporations could take inspiration of that and stop giving us token and white washed shit
You mean the Netflix adption ? I have to admit , it is truly dissapointment for people like me truly love the original cartoon and the new series in Netflix just really WTF ?
I LOVE the idea of all the Winx girls being holders of a piece of the dragon! It also gives a greater narrative weight to the fact that they all become friends together, especially if they don't know at first! Almost like something that was always meant to be
Enchantix is my favorite form for them; it's unique and mesmerizing. I'd love to see Bloom wear something like this for an all-new transformation--or if the show gets rebooted and they want to stick to just one look.
Winx club was my whole life. Everything about it made little me glued to the TV set. And my mom didn't have to worry about her child watching adult situation.
Love the redesign! Winx was my childhood but It went downhill after season 3. I find it VERY interesting and Creative what you did for Bloom, she and Flora where my FAVORITE ones, though Bloom made me want to strangle her sometimes 😅🤗 Anyway I wanted to ask If you would be interested in designing Felin in the Peacock Miraculous transformation cause from what I saw It was a DISASTER!😰😱🤢 So If you could make something I can watch without wanting gouge my eyes I would be grateful. I could imagine your design while watching, and hoping for a better story, honestly I only watch It to think of something better myself and for your ideas and redesigns. Shame we could not had you,or any other decent writer and designer, as the ones producing It. Well keep up your amazing work and have a Nice Day!🥰🥳🤗 I just thought of something that always bugged me in the Show! The Guys and man do not have magic or something else to give them an edge in fighting and they are(with the villains as an exception) made weak. I mean come on,I have a brother and when we were younger we always watched cartoons together, sometimes my girly ones sometimes his boyish ones. And It always bugged me how despite him finding Winx interesting he couldn't really like It cause the Guys weren't that strong. Which I agreeed on,our favorite Show was Power Rangers where both girls and boys were BADDASS.😎 So could you in your rewrite and redesign give them a powerboost?
Wow... Maybe I was Late for Miraculous, but Winx was one of my favorites. Finally a Rewrite in YT of the "leader" of the winx, for the being the leader of group she leaves every single problem
I agree that thw other winx girls also need time in the spotlight, and giving them all sparks of the dragon flames that vary with the character and planet they are from would be good at giving them all importance. Plus in season 6(? I can't remember which season) it could possibly make bloomix a bit more believable, with a portion of the dragon sparks just not fully unlocked yet. I loved your design of bloom, and your art has grown sooooo much! It's simply enchanting :D But also, something I would like to point out is that they also adressed bloom's incomplete enchantix in the show proper, as when the winx minimized to get the water stars bloom found out she wasn't able to minimize and follow the rest of the winx. Just thought I'd add that tid bit. But anyways, hope you have a good day!
really love your take on Winx and your new power is beautiful. I think you should do Stella next as, after bloom, she's the first fairy we meet and she's the one to show bloom around and introduce her to this magical world. that always made her stand out to me as a secondary protagonist. I also fell in love with Stella because an episode that focused on her became my favorite. Stella gets turned into a frog creature and she was terrified that she would lose her friends, her family, and her boyfriend because she wasn't pretty. she put all her self-worth as a princess and a person into being pretty and then she wasn't. but then all her friends and boyfriend stuck by and protected her and straight up told her "no they weren't her friends because of her looks but because of who she is and would stick by her even if she couldn't change back." it was just a really touching episode and I love it to this day. also I know you threw it in as a joke but i'd be curious if in this rewrite if you'd have any of the girls be gay/like/date other girls in your story.
I like the idea of the dragon flame being split up to give the other club members more significance, but I think it slightly diminishes the found family aspect of the cast where they learn to respect eachother not out of some destined need to work together but just because
I mean they did that with Bloomix but, they barely got any spells. Musa kept spamming the “Infinite Echo” spell. The only good spell she had was Crystal Voice. Stella kept reusing Light Spectrum and Bloom had Vortex Flame Storm and Volcanic Attack. The only person who used more than one spell was Flora. She had Chlorophyll Bolts, Lilac Vortex, Magical VineGrab, and Spring Shower.
The concept of how to get Callimarix reminded me slightly to the last arc of the W.I.T.C.H. comic which was essentially a big test for the guardians to become Sovereigns after all they have done as Guardians of the Veil.
The show's creator: "It's hard for 10 year olds to pay full attention to the show." Me, now 21, who has been watching and enjoying winx club since I was 6: "So that was a f*cking lie..."
What you described in the beginning about how the multiple transformations became less special as the series went on perfectly describes the Dragon Ball effect. At first there's one transformation that becomes iconic, then a new transformation is introduced to act as an evolution of the first. Then a new transformation comes out that makes the earlier ones redundant and so on and so forth until there's multiple new power ups and forms per story arc. It definitely makes it hard to get used to a form and see what it can do.
Honestly, one thing that always bugged me was how the girls all looked so human despite being aliens and magical creatures. Bloom and Roxy have an excuse. Bloom had to be human enough to live on Earth for 16 years and Roxy is Earth's guardian fairy. But no other character had that. Oh, sure, you could say they all just wore a glamour to mask their more inhuman features but they'd only ever need those when on Earth. I love all the ideas you had, though I think the storyline of old magic verse new magic could have been fun. One thing I always wanted to see that never happened was for Bloom become a historian, dedicating herself to learning everything she could about her homeworld and trying to preserve what she could find. And that just ties really well with the Dragon Flame being ancient magic, so not only is she trying to learn about and preserve her culture, she's also ensuring that the old ways of magic aren't entirely lost or forgotten the way they had almost been before she discovered her powers. This said, the idea you had of the Dragon Flame having multiple sparks would be a lot more compelling and provide a lot more rooms for the rest of the cast. So that would be the better option to take in terms of story and character.
Seeing your redesign's wonderous appearance, and the beautiful colours you used made Bloom look like an Olympian from Hades, and it's so amazing! I love the explanation of the powers you would give the girls, and while I don't expect a full on rewrite, I'm so excited to see what you would do with the other members of the Winx Club!
I'm pretty sure that the first movie, at least, was canon, because I vividly remember feeling confused when Bloom wasn't able to shrink at first, and was suddenly able to shrink in one episode. Her enchantix was incomplete at first, but after the movie and after she truly earned it, it became more complete. But then again, that could just be holes in my memory since it's been a while since I've seen the first few seasons.
yep, there was also a scene of her training w the girls at alphea and she was struggling because it was unstable, faragonda told bloom her enchantix was incomplete in the series multiple times i believe, which is why she cant shrink and control her powers. in the 4th season she was able to shrink for the first time if i remember correctly
0:59 yeah, "the seventh Winx", as if they took it forward 😔 like, if they don't want to then ok, but it was very unfair as the Winx gained their butterflix power in the following seasons and Roxy didn't, the Winx theoretically gained this power by saving some animals, but Roxy was also there helping and was literally on their side the whole time, she is the fairy of animals and helped the Winx in the rescue but is not worthy of the butterflix power which is precisely the power of animals and nature? I may have not followed every season, but I don't think that's right 😓
I had to hop onto my phone to type this cause I adored the Winx Club as a kid and skill love it (corniness and all) as an adult! Your redesign is so beautiful and captures Bloom so well, I know she's supposed to be a Fairy but you can't give a girl the powers of the Dragon Flame and not also use it as inspiration for outfits/design features. I'm also in favor of all the main girls having powers linked to the Great Dragon, they're all important and deserve equal focus as individuals and main characters. I honestly wish Bloom wasn't so heavily focused on, even though I love her to bits and a lot of my own characters and creative journey was inspired by this firey cinnamon roll. I'm looking forward to part two, and more vids for your Miraculous inspired show idea in the coming future! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and art, I always smile when I see your content.
I think the first option of the dragon flame being outclassed by some magic because its ancient is better than the girls conveniently all having special powers. It seems more original, and I get that nothing is original, but I like it because of it
23:55 Now one thing that always confused and annoyed me about Winx, was how Domino was treat as 1. An ancient civilization lost to time and tragedy, and then also never acknowledge accept when in reference to bloom. Like *bruh* the fall of Domino was only 16 years ago not thousands, people would still be talking about that! Maybe to add on to your first idea of Dragon flame being outdated, it’s because Domino DID fall long ago in the ancient past, but when Domino got caught in between realms with the Ancentral witches instead of the company of light freeing them, they doubled down in their exile because it seemed like the only way to contain the witches and their dark army (ooo betrayal). And now only 1000s of years later did those wards start breaking, which is how bloom comes to earth when she’s a baby (saved by Daphne who’s consciousness and corporeal form is split while trying to cross the barrier) but also more Darker threats also star breaking free, which causes people to distrust blooms powers when she first arrives at Alfea because they’ve only heard stories of her type of powers before (and because we love historical misinformation they’re remembered as Negative bc ooo angst, which also makes that witch imposter plot line in the first season make more sense). It also lines up better with the last fairy of earth shit going on in Season 4, like maybe the Faries of earth were refuges for Domino b4 the fairy hunters… i could go on forever. anyways I always loved the story of Winx, I just they cleaned up a bit more and followed better continuity in the later seasons.
Also in season 6, Bloom gave pieces of her dragon flame to her friends after Selena used the Legondarium and they ended up losing their Sirenix powers. And, it nearly ended up killing her. The power they got was dubbed “Bloomix” after bloom. It was literally the weakest power, and the girls barely got any good spells just generic beams of pixie dust. Also, in season 6, there was this beast of the depths who was supposedly immune to the power of the dragon flame.
I remember waking up really early every Saturday morning to watch Winx Club. I always wanted the show to end after the first movie, as it wraps everything up nicely. THIS is the only way I accept the show moving forward. I love the idea of balancing Bloom with the other members and the lore behind the Dragon's flame. It would help the show become much more interesting. Bloom was always and is my favorite. The Dragon Fire was just badass and I loved her personality. I also wanted to BE Bloom growing up.
I absolutely love your second idea of a rewrite. A thought i had was that, maybe, the earth too was a part of the magic dimension, but it's spark was hidden in Tir Nan Og by the earth fairies when humanity started to fear magic. The Earth's spark could be "The Dragon's heart" and later be wielded by Roxy.
Stella: id really like to see what you would do with her because Stella as THE FAIRY OF THE SUN AND MOON had an actual personality in the original and was confident in not only her fashion skills but in her relationship with her boyfriend (they ere like loyal flirts not toxic comeback off and ons) and her power actually involved references to the moon and sun ended up being rewritten to be the "fairy of the shining sun" killing the opportunity for an ark with her mom and also a little spin off character they were trying to wright but never even got a design (she was supposed to have a sibling with the same ability... kinda, they were meant to also be able to reach for the power of the sun and moon, but the same way Stella has a deeper connection to the sun, they would have had a connection to the moon) all in all she got rebooted to be the comedic relief of the group never having an actual moment of seriousness from her and always making the audience roll their eyes out of disappointment of what they did to her EVEN MY LITTLE SISTER was shocked when i shewed her the original, and preferred it a billion times better.
I like the design and the way you have these overpowered powers be locked behind a really hard achievement. My only issue would be it's a bit too busy but that could be a me issue. I have a hard time knowing where to look with so much going on, which results in my eyes looking at the feet which have less going on then everything up there. Besides that minor issue I do really enjoy the design and the video and am excited to see what the next Callimarix form will look like
First, I LOVE the redesign. I always wanted something more draconic(?) ,I guess, in her design and these wings are perfect! But from the options you gave, I actually really liked the one that her dragon power is outdated, thinking of her struggling to not hurt someone, have her overall contained but still powerful wound make quite the character arc, one even spamming multiple seasons! I chose that one maybe because I don’t really wound want all of them having some dragon on them, but have more focus on them as they are or have a great power of their on, but I still felt intrigued by the idea!
Winx club was a giant part of my childhood. I really liked the first few seasons, but I lost a lot of interest after season 3. I rewatched it a few months ago and I noticed a lot of flaws and *lot* of designs I wanted to redesign. Awesome video man :)
i think you should stick to the s1-3 s4 is optional if you want to watch it the other season after nick took over was a mess tho i do like the ocean theme on s5
I absolutely love your re-visions and transformation design, it’s gorgeous, it’s elegant, and I can see callimarix being the absolute final form with the marks of valor and everything, I also love the dragons other gifts re-vision as well, it gives the other characters a sense of importance instead of the real series’ , ‘oh and their here to!’
I definitely think Bloom should still be very powerful, but even if you're the most powerful main character, you should still have your struggles and I kind of wished we saw that with her. Also the part where Bloom doesn't have all her Enchantix powers is actually canon, they even say this in the show. And as for Roxy, that isn't her Believix form, that is in fact her base form. There's also always this misconception about Aisha being the water fairy, she actually isn't the water fairy, in fact she's a morphix fairy, at least in the original seasons, they changed it later.
I grew up with Winx club, witches, totally spies, and barbie movies. It's honestly surprising how much has changes since then. Sometimes it's nice to go back and relive that childhood nostalgia Edit: n9w that I think about it a totally spies redesign/rewrite would be kind of cool
I love that you make this form of mythical proportions, and have prerequisites of comparable difficulty and magnitude. The Winx Club felt above all other faeries to begin with, so for them to basically be canonized as fairy saints is perfect.
I'll admit magical girl shows are something of a guilty pleasure. Love your artwork, will we see designs for the rest of the Winx? I definitely agree the Dragon Fire could use a rework have it be powerful but not be the solution to every problem each magic has different specialties. Maybe have different magics have ties with the Dragon Fire, it is the apparent source of all. magic. Maybe Stella's magic, particularly the ring of Solaria's, could have a close tie to the Dragon Fire, linking to why the Trix were after it in season 1.
That's a beautiful fairy form for Bloom and one that makes sense for another power increase form, both in lore and requirements. The rest of the forms should be situational ones like Sirenix. No BS about the latest one being more powerful. i have no clue if this was a concidenece, but Bloom's outfit looks like Daphne's in style and it's fitting that she takes after her older sister. As for which option I'd like on how to handle Blooms powers i'm sort of mixed, I can see how Bloom having to deal with the drawbacks of the Dragon Gire magic being ancient magic in a modern magical world works. It gives her something to struggle with while keeping the powers importance. It would be interesting to use the theoretical arc for her, especially if she showed more interest in learning about her heritage and also to see her find workarounds and solutions to make up for the lack of power and intuitviness. It would be a good way to explore more of Domino's culture too. I can also see how giving the rest of the Winx their version of the Dragon Fire could work to put them on an even level and give them a reason to give focus to the other girls. I've never liked how Bloom in most of the early seasons (except S2) took up most of the screentime and plot importance and starting with S5 that got even worse. But at the same time just giving them Dragon's flame powers doesn't sit right. To me,it'd be like giving the Senshi from SM their own versions of the Silver Crystal. That's Usagi's thing, and if it was just given to them off the bat,it'd wouldn't be special to her. So maybe a mix of the of two could work? Have Bloom have her Dragon's Fire but struggle to learn how to use it(and deal with the lack of power outside of specific situations)because it's ancient and then have the Winx earn their versions of Dragon Fire Magic later and then have to deal with the same problems Bloom has with it being archaic. And the requirement should be equally as strong as Enchantix.
Winx Club was my entire life up until I turned twelve- I was obsessed with the story, designs and basically everything. I love your redesign and rewrite of Bloom, particularly the second version of her story. I also love how you refer to Fate as 'that one' (please continue to treat it with the disrespect it deserves).
I Was eating cold watermelon and froze my taste buds when you posted and got excited 😂🤣 I'm very interested in your version of winx Edit: I don't remember anything from winx club so seeing this video made me wanna rewatch season 1-4
26:54 I think this movie is canon since in future episodes after the fourth season Bloom's kingdom and parents appear, which wouldn't have been possible if the events of the movie hadn't happened.
Omg i'm so excited for this one, i used to be OBSESSED with Winx club, my favorite was Techna and I always wanted to be like her 😂 But my favorite design was Flora's, pretty sure i had a crush on her at some point 😂 Quick question, will you be doing the other characters as well?
I think I had a crush on all of the characters at some point, just didn't know it cause I didn't know what being gay was (or what love was in general because that's kind of a hard concept to grasp as a kid.)
I really wanna see a daphne rewrite because she was shown in season 5 and 6 and I think 7 which are known to be the worst seasons of winx so I'm interested to see your point of view on daphne especially because she was voiced by one of my favorite celebrities
@@callimaraI pretty much love your drawings. Also love the rewrite you did on Yandere Simulator and MLB. Can't wait for WildWard main characters and their personalities, design and Aegis.
as a former obsessed winx club fan, i can definitely say that nickelodeon has nearly DESTROYED the show. i like to pretend like the show ended in season 3 and season 4 was a spin-off of sorts, with the first movie being the only and final movie, fully completing Bloom’s story.
People don’t want her to use her powers because it’s so dangerous.
pretty sure that’s the plot of the live action winx if i remember correctly 😩
@@belladonna1950 which site??
I love how your rewrite isn't too complex and I can see it actually being how they would write it. I wish shows wouldn't go on so long, I think of mlp when it's stories end. Mlp has generations and new characters, literally they just had a new movie of a new group. That's what more shows need to do, have spinoffs that deal with the world and new people instead of the people who have already defeated their shortcomings.

Am I the only one not liking people bringing sexualities in kids shows especially if they have partners in the show already?
I agree, I used to love the show, but even as a kid I got tired of all the focus on Bloom after the first season. And I really wish they hadn’t continued the Winx’s stories after season four. I refuse to acknowledge that there was more than than those four seasons.
Honestly, I thought there was only five. But my memories terrible and I wish I hadn't seen the image of season 8 Winx Club
Can I ask a quick question? I was never able to watch the series (my parents wouldn't let me) and by the time I had access only s7 was available on Netflix =/. Are there any good witches in Winx? I just wondering since alot of shows paint witches in a bad light.
@@theanonymous.5940 i think the headmistress of the witch school (i think its called cloud tower?) was good later on
@@Portlandporkpies thanks!
When I was littler, my favorite was the RAI version tbh. I kinda loved the designs of the witches.
Can we agree though that the nickelodeon version of Winx club had some really great voice actors for the characters?
@@FeligamiAdrizoeSworaDennisTRF it was superior
I randomly remembered this now, but isn't it funny how Bloom and Sky have been engaged since the movie and never married until now while Bloom's sister got married in a single season right after coming back to life? 😅

Man this takes me back. I used to be really into this show when i was little. You are also very talented. Keep up the good work.

Me too . She 's really amazing
The "That she is in fact... Gay, I mean a fairy" killed me XD
I'm down for it if we get a similar reboot like yours. I would get my roommates to pay for it and re-watch it with my old childhood heart before the depression hit me, and people started to think that everything had to become edgy. Bloom looked amazing.
To be fair, the season 8 art style of Winx Club DOES look like Ever After High, but on a budget of a loonie and pocket lint-Ever After actually has really good visuals
Also please redesign Techna next, if you can, her first fairy form design hurts me with how bad it is-
I really love the first idea because it focuses on Bloom and her development and a struggle to connect with her heritage in a meaningful way which could tie into and make it so she grows closer to the other winx that have similar issues like Musa struggling to connect to the memories of her mother and the music of her family/planet, Stella struggling to connect to the lunar side of her powers because of her strained relationship with her mother, and Techna and how she was treated as a kind of robot because she’s detached but incredibly compassionate.

I just thought of something that always bugged me in the Show!
It's simply enchanting :D
But also, something I would like to point out is that they also adressed bloom's incomplete enchantix in the show proper, as when the winx minimized to get the water stars bloom found out she wasn't able to minimize and follow the rest of the winx.
"Bloom decides to help her and discovers that she is infact *gay*- i mean has special powers 😅"
Both, both is good💀
I like the idea of the dragon flame being split up to give the other club members more significance, but I think it slightly diminishes the found family aspect of the cast where they learn to respect eachother not out of some destined need to work together but just because
I mean they did that with Bloomix but, they barely got any spells. Musa kept spamming the “Infinite Echo” spell. The only good spell she had was Crystal Voice. Stella kept reusing Light Spectrum and Bloom had Vortex Flame Storm and Volcanic Attack. The only person who used more than one spell was Flora. She had Chlorophyll Bolts, Lilac Vortex, Magical VineGrab, and Spring Shower.
gay- I mean has special powers
This whole show in a nutshell
The concept of how to get Callimarix reminded me slightly to the last arc of the W.I.T.C.H. comic which was essentially a big test for the guardians to become Sovereigns after all they have done as Guardians of the Veil.
The live action winx club feels like the my immortal version of the original, but instead of being a bad fanfiction it became an actual thing

The show's creator: "It's hard for 10 year olds to pay full attention to the show."
Me, now 21, who has been watching and enjoying winx club since I was 6: "So that was a f*cking lie..."

Now one thing that always confused and annoyed me about Winx, was how Domino was treat as 1.
WHOO. MY CHILDHOOD SHOW!!! YOU DID SUCH A GREAT JOB!!!!!🤩🤩
The thing that bothers me the most about Stella is that she is the sun AND moon fairy. I don't see anything moon related in her design
WINX CLUB MY BELOVED.
I’ve been excitedly waiting for this video :D
The Earth's spark could be "The Dragon's heart" and later be wielded by Roxy.
o wow, bloom actually looks like a dragon. i'd love your take on tecna or the trix tbh
Stella: id really like to see what you would do with her because Stella as THE FAIRY OF THE SUN AND MOON had an actual personality in the original and was confident in not only her fashion skills but in her relationship with her boyfriend (they ere like loyal flirts not toxic comeback off and ons) and her power actually involved references to the moon and sun ended up being rewritten to be the "fairy of the shining sun" killing the opportunity for an ark with her mom and also a little spin off character they were trying to wright but never even got a design (she was supposed to have a sibling with the same ability... kinda, they were meant to also be able to reach for the power of the sun and moon, but the same way Stella has a deeper connection to the sun, they would have had a connection to the moon)
all in all she got rebooted to be the comedic relief of the group never having an actual moment of seriousness from her and always making the audience roll their eyes out of disappointment of what they did to her
EVEN MY LITTLE SISTER was shocked when i shewed her the original, and preferred it a billion times better.
I like the design and the way you have these overpowered powers be locked behind a really hard achievement. My only issue would be it's a bit too busy but that could be a me issue. I have a hard time knowing where to look with so much going on, which results in my eyes looking at the feet which have less going on then everything up there. Besides that minor issue I do really enjoy the design and the video and am excited to see what the next Callimarix form will look like
so true bestie!!!
My childhood!
I chose that one maybe because I don’t really wound want all of them having some dragon on them, but have more focus on them as they are or have a great power of their on, but I still felt intrigued by the idea!
when I was a kid I loved Roxy lol
I think it was cuz I liked animals a lot tho xD
Sometimes it's nice to go back and relive that childhood nostalgia
Edit: n9w that I think about it a totally spies redesign/rewrite would be kind of cool
I love that you make this form of mythical proportions, and have prerequisites of comparable difficulty and magnitude. The Winx Club felt above all other faeries to begin with, so for them to basically be canonized as fairy saints is perfect.
Honestly this show is my childhood, I loved it so much and used to rewatch it constantly. I’m so excited to see what’s in store in this episode.
Will you give enchantix or other fairy forms to other characters such as Diaspro, Miele, Galatea, Roxy,
When I saw wind club I clicked so fast 🤣
I still can't believe that as a boy, this was my favorite cartoon series i liked to watch when coming back home from school.
I Was eating cold watermelon and froze my taste buds when you posted and got excited 😂🤣
I'm very interested in your version of winx
Edit: I don't remember anything from winx club so seeing this video made me wanna rewatch season 1-4
26:54 I think this movie is canon since in future episodes after the fourth season Bloom's kingdom and parents appear, which wouldn't have been possible if the events of the movie hadn't happened.
I was JUST searching for something to watch ! Perfect timing haha ✨
Heey, first of all, I loooove your design.
Omg i'm so excited for this one, i used to be OBSESSED with Winx club, my favorite was Techna and I always wanted to be like her 😂
But my favorite design was Flora's, pretty sure i had a crush on her at some point 😂
Quick question, will you be doing the other characters as well?
I think I had a crush on all of the characters at some point, just didn't know it cause I didn't know what being gay was (or what love was in general because that's kind of a hard concept to grasp as a kid.)
I really wanna see a daphne rewrite because she was shown in season 5 and 6 and I think 7 which are known to be the worst seasons of winx so I'm interested to see your point of view on daphne especially because she was voiced by one of my favorite celebrities
YES. Just YES.
Love the redesign and rewrite!
thank you!
3:32 i actually spit out my juice, good to see that I wasn't the only one to have a thing for Stella 😳
You just unlocked my entire childhood all over again
“She finds out she GAY I mean has special powers”
PFFFFFT gurl
OMG!!! I love your art! Your style has come a long way and I love it!
thank you so much! 🥰
