How many times I have driven by a stack of pallets and wanting some. Don't know what I'd make, but creativity would kick in really quickly. Love this guy's work!

The foot of the structure will rot with time. Also not sure how heavy it can stand.
Great skill and beautiful work, I love everything about it. I also know that some trees grow very, very slow. We had a tree in my childhood yard that was the same size for 20 years, I did a report on the tree for my 7th grade science class.
I also know that roots will travel to get the water that the tree needs.
I also know that furniture is not intended to be permanent, especially not outside furniture. Once it needs to be disassembled, take it apart and repurpose the woods AGAIN. I replace my outside furniture every 3 years.
Some people just like to complain.

Well we put our sheds onto pallets never had damp and thier still ok after 20 years
@@jeanettereynolds3151 thank you for confirming what I thought was true. There were so many people criticizing him for using wood and blocking the tree, I wanted to let him know what I thought it would be just fine.

Might need center supports under the pallet but very nice overall
The upper box appears to provide a lot of stiffness and support to the center [NICE!], plus the cross rails that pass below the center should add to its stiffness. The only thing I might change is to use 4 more of the long boards and sandwich 2 of them to form 2x4 end edge supports instead of the 2x2’s used. I would also double up on the side edge support rails to give it added strength . . . perhaps 3x all round in America. Ha! The torch effect [NICE!]!
Not really, a table does not have centre support.

Put some supports under the pallet, you can screw them into the existing legs, like a cripple when you frame a doorway to carry the load. Great idea, and good job.💪

He has also reduced the amount of rainfall reaching the roots thereby impacting the tree's water table and it's ability to cope with times of low rainfall.

I personally would not have added the top level on because it limits the space for sitting. I’d do the bottom and throw cotton rugs over it with lots of pillows and then have more room to lounge around. Love this project, thanks for sharing.

Nice to have round up ready for the weeds that grow between the slats, and oh when the roots push up shoots just cut them off at the wood edges, other wise maybe put down some mats to allow water through...your moving in a couple years so it won't matter...white oak would rot slower, but it looks awesome in the video...happy gardening

E como aqueles paisagistas, que decoram muros, com mudas de arvores, com o passar do tempo, os simples arbustos, vao crescendo e os troncos tbem . Com o tempo percebera, que toda beleza tem um preco, e as vezes elas saem bem caras. Os espacos podem ficar maravilhosos por longos anos, mas tudo tem que ser muito bem planejado.
