This is amazing. Did this tonight and changed cream cheese for Boursin garlic-herbs. In bottom of crock pot I add pieces of carrots and potatoes. A complete meal. To die for 👌
For those who really like the bacon taste add a little bit of that bacon grease back into the chicken. I like to serve it on bread with pickles. Soooo good!
Sorry, I'm late to the party! I saw folks spooning this onto split baked Kaiser rolls and it looked AMAZING. Totally would do that with pickles and a good Kaiser roll.
This was really good. I had to season my chicken before sprinkling on the ranch. I had to give it a side eye with the cream cheese, but it actually blended well and I only used 8 oz. This is really good for a dip or meal.
Made this earlier today in my slow cooker. Should be ready in an hour. Very excited to taste this. I found the recipe online, but your video has helped so much! I wasn't going to..but I'm cooking rice with it now.
It’s called Company chicken. Its done in the oven w/actual ranch dressing, teriyaki sauce, bacon, then layer w/cheese,green onions & bacon. Don’t know who thought of it, but it works very well!!
I'd check the nutrition label on that packet of ranch seasoning for carb content first. A lot of powdered mixes & seasonings use starch as a filler and thickener. But I think that'd be really tasty on cauliflower!
I substituted taco seasoning since I didn't have ranch powder on hand and added a small can of corn along with the bacon, served in a tortilla and OMGosh it was good!
I made this one night for a dinner party. They loved it so much. It was gone before my husband even got to try it. Now all of his coworkers are always asking me to make it. Making it again today and hopefully hubby gets to try it this time 🤣
I made it for the first time too and it was my first ever time making a meal in a crockpot and I was so proud of myself that I did it correctly lol my family loved it
Amazing recipe! We made a slightly leaner version and swapped cream cheese and cheddar cheese with Bone broth, salsa, Jalapenos, Peppers, and some Onion. keep it low-carbs without diminishing the flavor. I put up a video on our channel if anyone needs the recipe. hope it helps!
Why would anyone thumbs down 5his recipe? Dark fatty chicken yum each and cream cheese yum bacon cheddar cheese yum.just yum! I'm totally making it.thank you for sharing!!
Instructions unclear, now battling debilitating drug addiction. My wife left, I lost my house and my dog. Currently living in my car. If anybody wants to donate a deliciois cheesey chicken crock-pot casserole I'd be eternslly grateful. ...Just kidding! Great recipe, keep up the good work.
If I had no other choice I would cube the chicken, coat it in ranch. Add some oil to your pan and cook the chicken until done. Add the cream cheese, cooked bacon, stir then top with cheese. Place the lid on until the cheese melts.
To be honest, I feel like it would need something else that should go in it for seasoning... I haven't tried it yet but just wanted to see if you had anything you might have tried to embellish this recipe. It does look amazing, I'll make it tomorrow. But my gut says it will need.... Something
Amazing recipe- so good and definitely addicting!!! I only have 3 chicken breasts. I can’t tell how many were used because they look cut up into sections. Is 3 enough? And can I leave them whole? Thank you!
I made this, super good. I added some things like cumin, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder. I like spicy and I like flavor so I did add those things but super great.
1 minute and 48 secs. to explain the recipe. A winner on my list.
Ikr yes
And no useless side story completely irrelevant to the recipe
Crack chicken is horrible, I tried too rich and feeling yuk

To die for 👌
I made this today but used riced cauliflower instead of rice. Was awesome !! Thank you for the yummy recipe :)
I tried this recipe for dinner with mashed potatoes and greebeans with bacon bit pieces in them lastnight and Omgosh it was so good
I don't have all day to watch long videos this is perfect !
Made this for the first time today. I served it with penne pasta, garlic bread and a salad. Kids LOVED it.

Made this last night for dinner & it was a hit! I had never heard of this dish, thanks so much for sharing!
This is sooo good and so easy! I love this meal.

So glad you enjoyed this!
Prolly a dip
Yesss, said the same. Season the chicken first for more favor.
That dish is SCREAMING for some nice tangy green chiles
Great idea!
Oh yes, absolutely. Or even hatch chilies which have a little extra heat.
Would jalapeño cream cheese work?
@@PhilandSofia Did you try it? How was it?
I added a 4.5 oz. can of green chilies.
I'd slather that on top of an onion bagel and go to town 😆. The possibilities are endless, with that dish.
Making this right now for the first time. Very excited to taste it, it looks awesome. Should be ready by 5 🤗
I hope you enjoyed it!
This is delicious served in a lettuce wrap!
This would be good on a baked potato
I’m making this for dinner tonight I just set the crock pot ! 🥰
Yes sir straight to the point on the recipe.
Made this earlier today in my slow cooker. Should be ready in an hour. Very excited to taste this. I found the recipe online, but your video has helped so much! I wasn't going to..but I'm cooking rice with it now.
I made this today and served it over jasmine rice and it was so delicious! It’s a keeper for sure.
I've never tried jasmine rice. How does it taste
Hello beautiful you're looking so gorgeous and charming smile on your profile picture 😍😘
My friend told me about this dish.....She said it was DELICIOUS and i have that on my next grocery list....Thank you so much
I made Enchiladas with this, highly recommended!
This is a great idea! Or taquitos.
TWO cream cheese packs? You're a madman.
thanks Bill Murray!
It’s called Company chicken. Its done in the oven w/actual ranch dressing, teriyaki sauce, bacon, then layer w/cheese,green onions & bacon. Don’t know who thought of it, but it works very well!!
I need to try that version.
Teriyaki sauce? Sounds weird with cheese and ranch...?
That’s something totally different lady!!
I just made this and it was Awesome however we added Rotelle tomatoes. And it made it even better
Over mashed cauliflower instead of rice for low carb! Looks absolutely decadent 🤤
I'd check the nutrition label on that packet of ranch seasoning for carb content first. A lot of powdered mixes & seasonings use starch as a filler and thickener.
But I think that'd be really tasty on cauliflower!
Excellent idea thanks
I think I’d like it with mashed potatoes instead of rice
Baked or mashed potatoes. Rice or chips. It's still Crack🤤🤤🤤
Possibly the cheese part finished in a casserole dish in the oven
Kansa City Shuffle agreed
Find a recipe for crispy chicken skins and you have a neat garnish
Aneesa H. Right?? I need some potatoes 🥔
I substituted taco seasoning since I didn't have ranch powder on hand and added a small can of corn along with the bacon, served in a tortilla and OMGosh it was good!
I would only make it with one cream cheese! 2 would be too rich for me!
I agree. 1 cream cheese packet should be fine!
Agreed
Yep......Way too much cream cheese......Maybe 1 pack cream cheese and 1 can cream of mushroom soup....
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Po
Great low carb/keto recipe !!
my keto dinner for tonight along with a salad
This is pretty good on a bun with bbq sauce and purple onions.
This would make a great burrito filling.
I made this one night for a dinner party. They loved it so much. It was gone before my husband even got to try it. Now all of his coworkers are always asking me to make it. Making it again today and hopefully hubby gets to try it this time 🤣

Delicious! I just ate this. I added garlic & a little more seasoning & ate it over vegetables (I'm doing low carb diet). Yummy!
What temp do I set my crackpot to
OK that actually looks really stinking good
9000 calories per serving
TheTissueguy at least
But so worth it
Lol
😳 OMG!
But it’s keto!!! 😂
My Mama used to do this but it was called dip😂
K J right!
What is it good with ?
Did it take 7 hours?
😅
A year later thanks to *UA-cam algorithms* but I'll still say that this comment is severely *underrated.*
Also, making the dip took less that 30mins.
Superb!! i could use some of that right now!! great recipe!
Literally bought a crock pot just Bc of all your vids!
Awesome! Let me know what you try!
This is awesome! I’m making some right now to take to a football watching party! We serve it with Hawaiian rolls! 👨🍳
such a great idea!
Now this is crack I'll try. LOL! Made. the potatoes and cabage, it was delicious. Family loved it.will make again after i make this.
Crack chicken? I think you mean heart-attack Chicken but man that looks so so good!!!
Why would anyone thumbs down 5his recipe? Dark fatty chicken yum each and cream cheese yum bacon cheddar cheese yum.just yum! I'm totally making it.thank you for sharing!!
Awesome and quick recipe. Delicious 🍴 ♥️
7 hrs isn't quick.
Try it with Fiesta ranch packet....ohhhh YUM
Fantastic recipe
If I wanted to make this into a soup? Should I add chicken broth?
Yes, the website "plain chicken" has a few different version of crack soup.
You continue to deliver the goods. Love this recipe.😁
Definitely giving this a try!! Thanks for your tasty recipes Sarah!
Caution to the salt sensitive: I'd use half of that ranch seasoning. I've used a whole pack on a beef roast and it came out too salty.
Yes it can be. The original recipe calls for 2 packets! I serve his over rice and it helps with the saltiness.
i use 2x packets always. Never salty enough!
This is more like an amazing dip!
Great idea!!!!!
Am I allowed to cook on high instead of low for 7 hours and if so how long?
3.5-4 hours will work well.
Instructions unclear, now battling debilitating drug addiction. My wife left, I lost my house and my dog. Currently living in my car. If anybody wants to donate a deliciois cheesey chicken crock-pot casserole I'd be eternslly grateful.

Thank you for the late morning laugh.. I needed it
Hilarious
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 aww you got me too... good one tho 👍🏽
Two blocks of cream cheese! Think I'm going to do one 😮
Was amazing... not sure about the giant pepper salad you pictured it with tho
It tastes great between some brioche buns👌👌👌
I doubled the chicken and ranch packets and used half the cream cheese for that goodie.
Another great recipe👌....good to see you 🤷♀️❤
Adults, and especially Kids should love this recipe!
That stuff is so good
Has anyone done that with one block of cream cheese. 2 blocks seem like alot to me so i was just curious
What can i use instead of bacon? Can I leave it out entirely or should i find some other meat for this?
You can leave it out! Or you could use ham.
I searched for healthy chicken Crock-Pot recipes. Now I want this 9000 calorie version. FML
I think you did find my most caloric recipe! LOL
@@TheMagicalSlowCooker LOL It's all good. I've had a Crock-Pot for years and years and never used it. I'm about to do somethin'!
Suppose you could swap the thighs for breast meat if feeding young chicken this?
Gotta try it
I hope you do!
I would never serve something this dry over rice....it needs some moisture!!!
It sticks to the rice, it's actually really good! Different but in a very good way.
Is a matter of taste. Not everything on top of rice needs a sauce.
Dry?
Agreed , I'd add chicken broth and combined with cream cheese it would create a gravy like sauce
Glad I watched video, too. You added bacon in video but not in printed recipe - when to add it. I'm making this right now. CANNOT wait to eat.
Would this work with greek yogurt instead of cream cheese?
never thought id sahy this but, Sheese on Sheese Crime my DOOODS
Do you put oil or water ??i saw one where the girl puts about half a cup of water after adding everything
Yeah I definitely think it could use some liquid. I was think about adding some chicken broth in it to give it more moisture and flavor.
Making this tonight . Thanks for sharing.
Can I cook this on high for 4 hours by chance?
Yes.
@@TheMagicalSlowCooker thank you so much!!! Have a wonderful day!! ☺️
I wanted to know the same thing! She’s awesome for replying! Thanks again!
Looks good
So, I agree the recipe is great! But, I found myself thinking as I was watching this... what is that song? Where do I know it from?
Right? It's from premium beat .com. I've heard big companies use it in their ads! Probably where you've heard it.
Can this be done on the stove in a regular pan? If so can you please tell me how?? I'm in a terrible dinner rut.
If I had no other choice I would cube the chicken, coat it in ranch. Add some oil to your pan and cook the chicken until done. Add the cream cheese, cooked bacon, stir then top with cheese. Place the lid on until the cheese melts.
For how long do you have it covered after 7 hours and on what setting low/high?
On high for about 5-10 minutes. It doesn't take long for the cheese to melt.
Is it on Hi or Low for 7 hrs
Penny McLeod put it on low
Yum if doing The( Rice) Separate , And a yummy Side Salad👍🏻😍
Looks great!
Hello beautiful you're looking so gorgeous and charming smile on your profile picture 😍😘
I'm using chicken breast and 1 cream cheese 1/3 less fast and low fat cheddar cheese. In intsa pot.
Señora Espinosa awesome! Let us know how long you cook it for
@@TheMagicalSlowCooker .... I cooked it for 22 mins. From frozen only use 1/2 cup water.
I wonder if I can use ranch dressing instead of the ranch powder. Anyone know?
I think I will try it. Maybe I could get by with one pack of cream cheese?
'Heart attack chicken'
I assume 7 hrs on high?
To be honest, I feel like it would need something else that should go in it for seasoning... I haven't tried it yet but just wanted to see if you had anything you might have tried to embellish this recipe. It does look amazing, I'll make it tomorrow. But my gut says it will need.... Something
If you do add anything do not add any additional salt. :)
@@TheMagicalSlowCooker yeah that's totally true. I ended up not adding anything extra. I am going to tweak it next time, I'll share when I do.
It's actually really good on hamburger buns
The bacon! Yes!
Did you use cream cheese?
Amazing recipe- so good and definitely addicting!!! I only have 3 chicken breasts. I can’t tell how many were used because they look cut up into sections. Is 3 enough? And can I leave them whole? Thank you!
I know how good it is because I made it like a year ago and remembered how much we loved it.
@@JamesBrown-cv5ir Yes, three is enough. These were thighs in the video, but I've made it with 3 chicken breasts before.
@@TheMagicalSlowCooker thank you for such a speedy response! Ignore the haters. People can be downright rude and disrespectful. Thank you again!
@@JamesBrown-cv5ir Thank you! I rarely take it to heart.
I wonder if I could bake this instead
Have to make smaller portions. But looks delicious
Making this right now 🤤
Served over rice?
Looks good and easy! Thanks
Everything tastes better with bacon 🥓. More bacon please 😋😋😋😋😋😋
I made this, super good. I added some things like cumin, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder. I like spicy and I like flavor so I did add those things but super great.
I love those additions.
