Now with 5.20.5 released, I asked Retroscaler again and he stated it could be done with the normal GDEmu update from the original site. SOOOOOOOOO I'm not quite sure if I want to risk it
I do use mode in my Saturn, but gdemu has vastly faster load times than mode in a Dreamcast. Check out retrorgb’s side by side video. Gdemu loads 3x faster than mode.
damnnnn prices are getting to expensive, I wanted to purchase a gdemu when the clones appeared, they costed around 70 dollars but now some are over 200 dollars, I'll wait for a offer or just keep playing with emulators, the only reason I wanted an ODE for my dreamcast was that emulators are not fully compatible with all the games and not even those ODE are fully compatible from what I read.
Be interesting to see the update procedure, and if it can be applied to 5.15b and flashed via JTAG. What's the additional wire on the button, I don't remember doing that on mine 🤔
@@ModzvilleUSA I've not looked too much into it, but thought that the bootloader changed from 5.15 to 5.20 and as it had a vulnerability in 5.15 it was cloned. 5.20 isn't vulnerable in the same way, but if it has been dumped (with the bootloader) I'm hopeful it could be flashed to a 5.15 🤔

Quick Question. There are only a few DC games I want and one is an RPG called Albert Oddesey. Hope it works on it and my main question is this. Do these modded systems like this do anything that speeds up games or load times? Because that Albert Odessey game has horrible load times when you enter and exit combat. Like 45 sec wait time.

Though I prefer MODE, I may check out the new GDEMU just to compare them.
Cool, I'm surprised it has taken them this long to crack it. I moved on to the MODE last year and never looking back.
