“Barracuda” Lyrics:
So this ain't the end, I saw you again, today
I had to turn my heart away
Smile like the sun, kisses for everyone
And tales, it never fails
You lying so low in the weeds
I bet you gonna ambush me
You'd have me down, down, down, down on my knees
Now wouldn't you, Barracuda? Oh
Back over time we were all trying for free
You met the porpoise and me
No right, no wrong you're selling a song, a name
Whisper game
And if the real thing don't do the trick
You better make up something quick
You gonna burn, burn, burn, burn, burn to the wick
Oooo, Barracuda, oh yeah
"Sell me, sell you" the porpoise said
Dive down deep to save my head
You, I think you got the blues too
All that night and all the next
Swam without looking back
Made for the western pools, silly, silly fools
If the real thing don't do the trick, no
You better make up something quick
You gonna burn, burn, burn, burn, burn it to the wick
Oooo, Barra-Barracuda
Yeah
Ohhhhhh yea

the acoustic adds so much to the song without being too out there
This is Very helpful and Great! Thanks
I was hoping to actually hear her parts cuz I was always confused what she was adding to the track on that Ovation acoustic.
Iconic moments:

What's the BPM 137 just don't sound quite right lol Thanks in advance
there's no strict tempo that works with this song. I believe it was not recorded with a click

Thanks
I've been trying to find 0:55 isolated. Thanks for posting this!
Same man! Such a cool lick, almost sounds like it shouldn't fit, but yet it does so well.
@@LandonAPersonmy favorite part even though so short
Awesome when girls rock!
its NOT nancy.
Roger Fisher wrote and played the guitar on this track, but yeah Nancy is awesome too
Like others have said she didn't play these parts nor did she write them.
Poor roger and howard.... People credited most of heart's cool guitar riffs for nancy while it's actually not (yea accept the acoustics and some rhythm stuff)
@rufus leekin Yep and when they came back to the guitarist the final lick on gtr was usually her hand. 80s focus so much on her.
But, everything is properly attributed and described in the book. People need to read.
