You know what could make this game perfect? Making possible to call out champions on honor duels before the battle, to boost moral your troops and damage enemies, and make it possible to avoid some smaller battles by wining a duel. This happened a lot in history.
Actually this feature is possible in the DLC called Viking Conquest. Which is made by those who made Brytenwalda Mod. You can call out for a duel, sometimes your soldier take the duel, if they lose it lowers the morale and winning boast the morale. If your character gets to duel, you get to duel their leader, with you winning means that you have defeated their army and you can retreat, if you have been put on a corner.

i know people think its unrealistic when you see a guy with an arro on his head keep fighting... but if im not mistaken, there was a famous war in ancient mesopotamia where the king(because back then they still fought) got an arrow in his EYE and not only survived, but also won the battle and captured the other king... i dont remember the name of any of the kings tho... but its easy to find with google...

It was nearly impossible to defend your first fief. There would be an enemy lord with 100+ strong men and you can only helplessly watch him raid your village with your 40 strong party.

No it's not? Even if this is alpha it looks like a dlc, the only redeeming quality it may have is probably the cleave effect that hits multiple enemies at once, other than that it's completely dull and unoriginal.
i hope someone will add stealth in this game, stealth is fucking useless in battlefield but it will be cool for this kind mission: 1. infiltrating fort/ castle to open gate or kill their leader or sabotaging them 2. stealing/ replace documents ==> get info 3. put poison into enemy soldiers food 4. disrupting enemy supply line 5. ambushing enemies in forest 6. run from enemies sight easily by hiding 7. searching traitor or enemies mvp 8. releasing prisoners 9. install uprising into enemy territory intelligence warfare is my fetish in war games
the only thing i wish they would add to the game is co-op on the campaign map since the engine cant support real MP co-op i have no problem in being a companion to one of my friends instead of having my own army as long as one of us makes the decisions and we both get to fight together and travel inside the cities and towns together

There should be a scarring system where whenever you get knocked ,by getting slashed in the head, you get a scar on your face. Something impressive like a gash on the cheek or scar over the eye and eyebrows and the other lords can comment on it like they do when you fight in a siege or big battle together.
Onur Baykal Its definitely possible because in Warband they did have specific hit boxes and I guess this game isn't any different. I also kinda took this Idea from the Fable Games because you get a scar whenever you "die", although their scarring system was broken.
The funniest thing is while some independent game company from Turkey with limited budget can achieve THIS while a company like Ubisoft with its great budgets and opportunities shit sth like For Honor.
The difference is that Ubisoft went for graphic and action packed combat with little to no skill set required to master. It also is beyond boring when it comes to game mechanics. Mount & Blade is just super unique and awesome.
I really like how drab everything looks, like, it gives an awesome gritty dark ages look. Instead of like, a higher middle ages look of other games. The fact that the units aren't uniform is 10/10

Everything seems good and I suppose you have reworked some animations and voices which was totaly needed. Also just one little suggestion, enemies have broken suddenly in that gate battle, there should be a moral system I think as Total War games does. For example some soldiers can be so brave and they can fight to the very end, some of them may be a covard and rebelish who can break too early and so on one by one they can rout. When a soldier flees that effects other ones moral and thus that will be more realistic.

That is what I kind of expect as a coop multiplayer. Remember Fable 2/3? That kind of multiplayer, but to this game it's really fitting. "Aid your friend in world conquest/establishing a trade empire as their companion" Or something like that
well a good example for this is the Total War Co-op campaign, it's pretty much doing something similar tho there were people already trying this on warband but couldn't finish the job(not enough spare time for it), that's a good start for this idea.
I don't find being locked in combat with one person very realistic when there's people fighting around you. Mount and blade's combat has infinite more depth.

the alpha compared to the beta is a different world. there will be large scale battles in kingdom come deliverance too I believe. both games look great. also, both games are from hard working independent studios, so we should try show them as much support as possible.
I work in roofing. Nearly everyday I climb up a ladder carrying stuff in both my hands. it is possible if you keep your balance. Actually it's pretty easy.
Agreed. In the older games you get to pick what buildings to have but it would be *super* cool to get to place everything and be able to spend money to build walls or towers as you please. As amazing as it would be, it probably won't be there. That's why we have mods though. Maybe one day.

The game "king of Avalon" took a part of this trailer, and made an ad stating that it was there game, I was just watching a UA-cam video and I saw it as an ad saying it's "king of Avalon" I suddenly realized that the ad I was seeing was the trailer for mount and blade banner lord, I even have proof.

I'm more interested in the mods with magic systems. Mount and Blade is an amazing base to set up an incredible power fantasy environment with the right mods. Phantasy Calradia and Chronicles of Might and Magic are two great mods for warbands that manage this well, though Phantasy Calradia's got the system down a bit better than CoMM.
ah i see, though id like to say that this time around the armor does seem even more fantasy based. sure scale existed and all that but the design and aesthetic of the armors seems very "Conan."

Yes they can. In an older video (probably the last one before this) they showed siege attack, where AI was hurling stones at the player from the murder holes.
I really don't like having a "top" game, but this will definetly be really good. Just not as good as you might have though from watching this video and then adding 4 years of development on to that

Simply having multiple ways to get up the walls and not having the AI walk into a meat grinder is a massive improvement.
Gives more reason to actually command troops now and the possibility of falling back to create choke points and what not.

My favorite is that they get upset and complain when you attack them when they are raiding your villages, but if you raid theirs, they are furious.

For infantry I use Nord Housecalrs, Cav, Swadian Knights. No archers, no sharpshooters, arrows and bolts are for bitches.
Swadia + Rhodoks = Vlandia.
Henrius Caesar I throw the nord archers on castles and towns, they are the best for siege defense. But for battle, I don't pick them up

There should be a scarring system where whenever you get knocked ,by getting slashed in the head, you get a scar on your face. Something impressive like a gash on the cheek or scar over the eye and eyebrows and the other lords can comment on it like they do when you fight in a siege or big battle together.

Onur Baykal Its definitely possible because in Warband they did have specific hit boxes and I guess this game isn't any different. I also kinda took this Idea from the Fable Games because you get a scar whenever you "die", although their scarring system was broken.

The difference is that Ubisoft went for graphic and action packed combat with little to no skill set required to master. It also is beyond boring when it comes to game mechanics. Mount & Blade is just super unique and awesome.
I think it is pretty much about conveyor approach of Ubisoft to game development.
This game has stolen many hours from my life while it is not even released. I can't think, if it was released how much time i would spent on it.
I really like how drab everything looks, like, it gives an awesome gritty dark ages look. Instead of like, a higher middle ages look of other games. The fact that the units aren't uniform is 10/10
It looks nice and all but that hand appearing on item pickup text needs to go. It looks distracting.
There will be mods to remove that porbably as it annoys a lot of people, and its a big GUI popup in the middle of your screen :P
best part about m&b is how easy it is too mod so little things like this are no worry at all

Everything seems good and I suppose you have reworked some animations and voices which was totaly needed. Also just one little suggestion, enemies have broken suddenly in that gate battle, there should be a moral system I think as Total War games does. For example some soldiers can be so brave and they can fight to the very end, some of them may be a covard and rebelish who can break too early and so on one by one they can rout. When a soldier flees that effects other ones moral and thus that will be more realistic.

well a good example for this is the Total War Co-op campaign, it's pretty much doing something similar tho there were people already trying this on warband but couldn't finish the job(not enough spare time for it), that's a good start for this idea.

I don't find being locked in combat with one person very realistic when there's people fighting around you. Mount and blade's combat has infinite more depth.

the alpha compared to the beta is a different world. there will be large scale battles in kingdom come deliverance too I believe. both games look great. also, both games are from hard working independent studios, so we should try show them as much support as possible.

there's blood, but from my experience in playing the older Mount and Blades, there was no gore, aside from blood that I saw.
Well there was blood splatter all over everything so I'm guessing the gore will be pretty full on. Are they planning on including dismemberment? Skulls getting caved in? I don't usually go in for that kind of thing but I don't think it hurts to show the brutality of war.

I'm more interested in the mods with magic systems. Mount and Blade is an amazing base to set up an incredible power fantasy environment with the right mods. Phantasy Calradia and Chronicles of Might and Magic are two great mods for warbands that manage this well, though Phantasy Calradia's got the system down a bit better than CoMM.
I really hope they do a Skyrim conversion mod.... that would be so epic ῍̩̞(∗ɞ⌄ɞ∗)
ah i see, though id like to say that this time around the armor does seem even more fantasy based. sure scale existed and all that but the design and aesthetic of the armors seems very "Conan."

Yes they can. In an older video (probably the last one before this) they showed siege attack, where AI was hurling stones at the player from the murder holes.
