He used the Zemmouri VOR ZEM east of Algiers airport DAAG. Then he created a Point Bearing Distance Leg. He used the ZEM VOR as reference and used an outbound radial of 360 degrees with a distance of 5Nm. At that position the FMC created a new fix, a so called customer waypoint.
Thanks! I think I figured it out I got the range rings around my rwy fix for my rnav approaches and it showed the degree lines as well. I’ll mess around some more and give it a shot! Thanks!!!
