I am seriously at a loss of words right now! It's really surreal to have this project up on your channel Melo and I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it happen! As far as to all of you guys on here - you guys are going to make me shed a tear man! THANKS SO MUCH to each and everyone of you - you guys rule man! ❤

Fucking mnemic proved it is possible in the 00's meshugga in the damn 90's ffs. But im glad to have found this. If only somebody could lead me to 'Arizona' - No More. For the love of a god please
Thanks for making this happen Melo. You should be owning a radio station, sooner than later. Thanks for supporting and playing all the independent artists on your channel.
Wow. I have not heard something this good in a long long time. This is solid, lyrics are purposeful, deep, darkened, raw. Sound is gritty but clean. Perfect amount of harmony / Screamo. Really really good. You’ve made my ears happy in Australia. 🤟
im in tears of how amazing this is, as a person trying to start my own band solo only using garage band and my limited knowledge. Hearing this makes me feel so happy and it pushed me in a stronger direction musically. Ashes like rain is the best thing to come out of 2023 so far and i strive to be on the same level.
Man your comment my day! Thank you so much! I'm really happy if this project sparked your creativity to do your own thing and when you drop your music let me know so I can check it out! 🤘
This is great! I grew up with Nu-metal and this hits me right in the childhood. I've found the EP on Spotify and saved it to my list. I'm looking forward to blasting this out of my car down the motorway!
This is probably the finest example of "nu metal" you will ever realy hear. The reason I say this is, like dry kill logic, you guys have stripped away the commercial bullshit and kept it real. People like scooter ward from cold could learn a lot from you. Very, very well done guys
Thank you so much for the kind words my friend! And yeah - totally agreed with the commercial stuff. I also tend to listen to nu metal for the realness and the pure, non commercial emotion artists put into their songs. The commercial aspect was a reason nu metal slowly died off in the mid 2000's imo.
I would be awesome if Melo could do a live stream with you for a rig rundown, equipment and programs you used to create such an epic album. I think it would be very beneficial to anyone who is wanting to embark on a solo project.
@@carolynway850 Yeah if Melo ever wants to start a podcast or anything I'd love to. I'll probably put a rig rundown eventually on the main ALR youtube channel.
This year has just begun, and it already looks like I found one of my favorite albums for present season. Congrats Alex, this is straight fire. Keep creatin'! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hadn't read the description yet, I really thought this was from twenty years ago. It doesn't matter that it isn't, but the atmosphere is so strong. Putting this into my love-at-first-listen-folder 💞
Great job on the album, Alex! The songwriting, the craftsmanship, the growls (wow, dude), the instrumentation. Everything on here hits. An album that captures the nu metal vibe perfectly.
congrats for this catchy art. I've listened it continously nearly all day. maybe already my one of all the time favorite underground releases. It's beautifully hard , aggressive and heavy.
Had this album on repeat for a while now Cuz it fuckin slaps and I hope they make more music someday just so that I can have that on repeat as well lol.
Fun stuff! I have mixed feelings about the clean vocals. Sometimes they seemed to try to sound a little too "pretty," in a sense. But I loved when they picked up (and the dirty vocals weren't too bad). "Cighid" was awesome. I really liked the final songs of the album, too. Really dang good. I loved the instrumentals, too. A bit industrial, which was cool. The overall sound made me think of Blue Stahli and Celldweller. I hope these guys go somewhere and put out a lot more content. Really cool.
Was this a 2022/23 release? If so then WOW i am absolutely blown away, it's so incredibly hard to find raw bands like this now days with that hard early 2000's ALT/NU metal sound.

🤣🤣🤣, nah..they should be begging you to allow them to play it. Radio plays on rock stations now don't pay the artists anymore. That is why it's a stagnant rotation of music they payed for back in the day. A college radio station or indie station would be the best bet.

Anyone got the lyrics to the last song?
Wither away under a cloud so grey
Walking blindly through the pouring rain
Bare skin cracked the smell of clay
Wish I may, but I'm too far away
Can't recognize myself / I can't believe
One has to lose so much just to see
A pale reflection of who I used to be
The needle and the damage done / I can't believe
Set out to be someone, since I couldn't be myself
Born to die or try to live inside this hell
Littered ruins an unsafe place
Scattered by the slum digging at my veins
Life grows harder when you can't be yourself
You're wasting so much if you can't help yourself
Gonna get gay. This album needs to be carved in stone 😂
This feels more of an ep cause it only has 6 songs
That's because writing 'full album' gives more views since not everyone knows what EP means.
