Another great release, September 13, 2021!
Who the fuck said Nu Metal is dead?
BIO:
Fabricated in Dallas, Texas, Bleed have brushed off the sound of early 2000’s alternative hard rock and metal and made it their own. Trimming the fat and keeping key ingredients such as emotional angst and rhythm, all while staying unapologetically heavy. Featuring past and current members of Narrow Head as well as currents from other Dallas staples Garden of Mary, Bleed delivers with authenticity and character and is sure to capture new ears as well as familiar ones with their first offering, “Somebody’s Closer”.

E N J O Y !
Alvaro (M.A)
DUDE!!! Just from hearing the opening song, this sounds exactly like something that would’ve came out in the 1999 - 2002 years when Nu Metal was hitting!
Reminds me of the types of songs that were in the Need for Speed games in that era.
Check out Higher Power dude!
@@josephelii and Soul Blind
Funny this is far from fucking nu metal
Yes definitely a Linkin Park vibe
This is it. This is that sound that i hear in my head almost everyday but couldn't find the band to scratch the itch. I've found it.
Check out Moodring and My Ticket Home if you haven't heard of them
@@bryanlenihan5012 echoing MTH, this sounds very much like Unreal
@@bryanlenihan5012 moodring is so sick
@@_beado_ the covers even look extremely similar.... but i think this is x1000 more catchier and listenable. I always skip songs on Unreal but this ep is nearly perfect. We need MORE from this band!
You’ll definitely like the fleshwater record that came out today
We are alive and well Nu Metal is happy and alive
This is from 2021? Holy shit. They absolutely nailed the production of a nu-metal album from late 90s-early 00s. LOVE this production style, and the songs have that alternative element that most modern nu-metal bands lack. Amazing find, man.
Yeah this is how I like my Nu Metal!
Heck yeah!
Me too! I hate the new Nu metal like tallah or tetrach, not nu metal enough
@@GregKhar-NU-Metalhead2000 it's not that I hate it, it just doesn't capture that energy the right way being more core than nu.
#MoreNuLessCore
@@GregKhar-NU-Metalhead2000 I’d add From Ashes to New, Poppy, Bring Me the Horizon, and Of Mice and Men to the list.
@@quentinbringthenumetalchil5125 yes this is me...i think those band and a poppy are not nu enough for me
They nailed exactly what they were going for with this. From art, logo, production. This and the Killing Time single are setting the bar high for this wall of sound new alternative stuff coming out. Great band.
Wait, this is from 2021?? The production is straight classic! Many of the "revival" bands sound overproduced and false. Not really the same, but Bleed sound great!
I was shocked too, love to see it happening now.
If I didn't read the description I would have never known this is from 2021!
Featuring former and current members of Narrow Head. But in my opinion this sounds so much better..
I want a full length
Narrow head is better tbh but this is a fun project
@@austinwilmot1532 I prefer Bleed bc the production quality is superb and its the best emulation of 00s nu metal, reminds me of pressure 4-5
Check out Garden of Mary as well, Ryan was also the vocalist in that band too. They only put out an EP - "The Agony of Memory" - but it's phenomenal if you dig post-punk and death rock.
1. Burnt (By The Sun) 0:00
2. Silver 2:51
3. Enervation 6:04
4. Somebody’s Closer 9:35
I'm listening this album everyday since you posted 😐
I just found this band on Spotify, and I’m obsessed
Enervation goes so hard
From the artwork to the sound quality this sounds like late 90s just like Quentin said. Also very smart move to put an EP out since, not many people have the patience to listen to full albums (which is a shame)
Yeah, it is indeed sad cause there are a lot of gems out there that are good from first song to last.
if you like this band most of the members are in arrowhead I believe and they have a few full lp's
@@gpotter14able crazy just checked they actually do have the same drummer. that’s insane blew my mind just now
@@sufferdata2755 it is crazy. it's i. their spotify bio that there's current and past members of narrowhead but when you listen to the drums it totally makes sense. he's gotta be my favorite drummer right now. so good and so fun to watch
This is the best EP I've heard in years.
Good shit my guy
Saw these guys in ATX January 8th and they were amazing. Sounds as good in person, but much more enjoyable live
They ARE playing live??? Holy shit
Can't find live videos
This is so short I need MORE
I don't know what these bands remind me of but the sound is so goddamn nostalgic. It's like a heavier 311, mixed with every band in the old atv off-road games
Your channel is fucking amazing. Just what I need in my life right now.
Thank you!
Holy fucking shit I feel I just travelled back in time! This sounds like it came straight out of the 90s. Is this on CD? I'm getting a copy if so.
No CD unfortunately, but 20 Buck Spin released it on cassette!
A lot of y’all would love Unreal by My Ticket Home
Strangers only
I'm diggin this, this is pretty good
Burnt and Silver are bangers!
Wow the chills and rush im getting is insane! This shit is soo good. Bringing back that sound we all miss. Modern rock sound sucks compared to this early 2000s sound. These guys better blow up
Flames of hell has been cold since this dropped
this sounds exactly from the original nu metal era brother this is insane
Legendary underrated band & Ep.Short lived sadly due to their main bands.Members past & present of Narrow Head,Garden of Mary & Hum & Quicksand I believe.Out of Dallas Tex.
Wish they had done more.Epic fucking sound
They haven't broken up and are putting out a new album this year.
they didn't have to go that hard on Silver 😩😩😩😩
ATV offroad fury 3 brought me here, it's not on the soundtrack it's just the vibe
Wow I just commented something like this
I’m getting some My Ticket Home/Jeff Killed John/Fleshwater vibes from this! I’m more than halfway through this album, and I’m more than down with this sound!! Great find!
MTH... I wonder what they're up to. Unreal was... well, unreal, and I keep on dreaming of a follow up. Through The Needle's Eye was an amazing song and then they just vanished. I know Nick Giumenti is doing his thing with headcave, but I don't dig their music at all.
definitely has some My Ticket Home vibes
@@Beaver0305 I’ve been thinking about when MTH would release another album. It’s been four years. I don’t know if they went on hiatus or what.
@@quentinbringthenumetalchil5125 My Ticket Home no longer exists. Vocalist formed HEADCAVE.
Also loving the FLESHWATER name! LOL I'll give them a listen.
UPDATE: FUCK! Just loved it.
Somebody’s Closer is my favorite track
Love it!
This is good! I bought it in Itunes after finding this video! Thanks for the upload!
this is staight up fire, especially for a sound like this on this current era
for anybody who likes early 2000's sounding modern rock bands, i heavily recommend Superheaven, especially their earlier work as Daylight
Chevelle and Trustcompany vibes
CAN I BREAK AWAYYYYYY
OH this is fire! Y'all need to check out a relatively new album called Higher Power - Soul Structure
Yes I have heard of it and it sounds massive!
This album is 🔥
This sounds like early Kittie, not that it's a bad thing. I like that raw, nu metal sound.
I hope this guys come to Brasil in a near future! \m/
And Peru! A South American tour 🤘🏻
@@MelomanoAdicto Yes, my south american brother. Would be a killer tour!! \o/
@@MelomanoAdicto By the way, you may should take a look in a band from my country called Diesel. It's a alternative rock band from the late 2000's. There's 2 albums from this fellas (Diesel and J Records). After a while they changed the name to Udora. It's a awesome band!
@@Leandro_Lima86 it seems like the J Records album was never released!
@@MelomanoAdicto Unfortunately this is true. I just get the 2 albums of them through download links. It's a shame, because they was a band with so much potential.
This is FIREEEE
Just sick 🤘🤘
GOOD STUFF
Sounds just as exciting as it was when I first heard Linkin Park, Deftones, P.O.D., etc. back in the day. Makes me want to lock myself in my room and hate my mom.
Holy shit! I need more of this! Long time defrones fan, i recently got into higher power’s latest album and i just need more of this genre. If you have any suggestion please let me know . ✌🏼
Check out ASkySoBlack. I'm sure you'll dig it!
TREMENDO
Listen to Innervisions by Mascara! they have a really similar sound
Wow! 🤘🏼 Y'all keep on keepin on because banging heads is what it's all ABOUT!!!!! I dig it!
this hard
Let’s go man it’s never dead ever
Vaya bandaza, hay algún vídeo en vivo de ellos? Saludos!
just wow
This rock's new metal rule's!
Best band ever
Is there a resurgence going on?
It sure looks like it! And I am all down for it :D
Yeah it's called Grungegaze and Oklahoma and Texas are putting out a lot of these bands. Narrow Head, Blushing, Glare, Grivo, Bleed, Trauma Ray, Mad Honey, Cursetheknife, Downward, Money
@@creekandseminole I really like Narrow head and there's a band called Moodring with a similar sound to narrow head. Keep these kind of bands coming for real.
Greatest rock album since hybrid theory
Narrow Head 👍
This is so fucking good 🥹
Es raro, pero se agradece escuchar esto hoy en dia. El NuMetal actual giró demasiado a las etiquetas "...-Core", todo demasiado rapido, demasiado potente, demasiado bestia, demasiado grito, melodias demasiado complejas...
It's weird, but it's nice to hear this today. The current NuMetal turned to labels "...- Core" too much, all too fast, too powerful, too beast, too loud, too complex melodies ...
nunca mejor dicho !
toma en cuenta que esas bandas crecieron escuchando hardcore, death metal y la creciente ola del nu metal de los 2000. Y al momento en que el deathcore y semejantes vieron la luz estos solo fueron la re interpretcion de todos esos generos
Need some more snowboard downhill music!
Is the title a nod to happy Gilmore? Rad stuff.
This ep made me go Onyx in Halo infinite
If you like this then definitely check out the bands Cursetheknife, Money, Downward, and All Under Heaven.
or you know.....Deftones
Sounds like a more numetal Silverchair
Melo increíble está subida, bandasa, sigue así nunca cambies, lol 😂
No voy a cambiar! 😎🤘🏻
the drums on somebody’s closer go wayyyy too hard
this part bro 10:23
If you dig these guys, check out Ocean grove. There basically if this band was given a budget.
Fuckin Awesome... How can we get the lyrics?
Now that's some ho ha shit right there!
bullet for my valentine meets deftones
Идеальная музыка
deftones vibes
atv offroad fury 2
Like a much better version of Taproot
trustcompany anyone?
Good EP, definitely some good Shoegaze/Noise Rock, not Nu Metal at all though lol.
I meannnn…. It’s kinda nü
Nu metal is dead. Thats alt.metal / abstraction progressive
Ok now say it without crying bro lol jk, you'll find something that's Nu Metal because you say so. Peace out there 🤘🏻
A genre cannot die as long as people still listen to it. The fans keep genres alive, not bands.
If you're talking about in terms of popularity, I will agree on that. But nu metal is not dead, people still listens to it.
This is NU METAL the notes, the singing, guitar, and ofc the SNARE! u think nu metal just rap metal like linkin park do u?! Well its not! Deftones,Korn they ARE nu metal
@@GregKhar-NU-Metalhead2000 good point on the snare sound!
Very clearly influenced by 90's Silverchair, and some Helmet (who Silverchair also were influenced by)
That was before I even saw they had a song called "Silver", feel like it's pretty obvious now
