- Thought i would make a video for you all showing my new flash pattern decisions. Beware having a very windy day out side, might be hard to hear me at times.

Looks great, is it Legal having a light bar mounted to the roof as long as its orange?
In California where I reside, off road lights/light bars must be off and covered on public roadways. So I’m currently not in compliance with this directive as far as the bar not being covered. Other than that, as long as its orange or white you are allowed to have those 2 colors on any light module on your vehicle. Although in California there is a law mandating that you can not have certain light modules flash faster than your factory turn signal lamps.

What are the items bolted to the trunk lid?
They are my automatic license plate recognition cameras. There actually mounted by 3 pot magnets instead of me having to drill more holes into my trunk lid.

I’ve got 37 years working metro, but even though we have over 2000 sworn Peace Officers, only county, state , and Federal Law Enforcement Rangers & our city Marshals have those on their roof , or trunk. If you never know what vehicle you will be assigned, and only detectives pairs have take home vehicles, but they’re 2-3 YO patrol vehicles taken off the line w/over 100K miles, and they only have a Motorola encrypted 900mhz wig wag head lamps Kojak small revolving roof/dash light, yet even brand new patrol vehicles have minimum overhead lights, MDT, mobile, but never once in 37 years have seen those cute soda-pop can aparatases? I’ve seen the county with triangular flat ones, but I think I’ll place some painted cole cans w/cable tv coaxle cable channeled into the trunk lid & I bet the citizens autos would slow down when traveling around us? That’s right, only units that work traffic daily have radars with front & rear radar antennas, but regularly all we do is answer “STACKED CALLS” on the mdt. Unfortunately since the Floyd incident, civilians are the most disrespectful that I’ve never seen, I retire in 9 months, however I’m already going to be about the 40th person that is going to deny retirement credentials, which keep you as a state peace officer, as long as you do 40 hours professional development classes every 2 years? But I’ve talked to colleagues, that have retired after the Floyd incident & they were going to retire with 40-35 years, but retired with 20 years because of the insurmountable pressure from civilians, administration, executive administration making us pay for the Floyd incident & we are located farther than 1000 miles from that incident, yet it’s an extremely ugly paradigm that has changed our lives as police officers, we are extremely untrusting of any officer that isn’t in rank & file, but administration, of executive side of police administration. Only the brotherhood that has lasted since Sir Robert Peel 1788-1850 the father of COPS “ Constable on Patrol” and Metropolitan Police, where the flow chart moves from rookie cops to field training officers teaching rooks straight out of the Police academy through journeyman level from 5-15 years then after 15 years senior officers, until retired officers continue with the brotherhood to help officers still working the line. In our world, everyone is totally alienated & ostracised from all Police officers working or retired, even Police Officer funeral only have about 30-25% compared to a grieving funeral with patriotic families , officers , even civilians. It’s a panacea that is totally out of control, and no one wants a job totally of abuse, even by 5 YO kids pointing their middle finger at us in court, in front of the court , the jury, cameras, but this gives everyone’s blessing to treat Police however you’d likd because we must all pay for the George Floyd incident? I had plans to work Security for the metropolitan government, state, of Federal because they only hire retired Police officers that maintain their State Peace Officer credentials, but even though these jobs pay exceptionally well, I’m going to be teaching at a university rather than making much more money as a bodyguard for state of Federal judges, diplomats, etc. And I never had a internal affairs investigation because I never crossed the line not even a little bit, because my father, grandfather, brothers, cousins were all metro Police & made great money once they had over 10 years in. Sorry for the rhetoric, but I always get asked while on duty about SOP now,that civilians hate police officers?
@@jesterflight8593 thanks for your service as a Officer. You guys are needed now more then ever before and i hate how the public and media treat you guys now especialy after the Floyd stuff. I back the blue 100% and Gladly put the thin blue line on my vic, unfortunately tho with all thats been going on my want to be a cop has gone away, as you said who wants a job where you just get abused from all sides? Good cops are leaving more then ive seen before and its just gonna get worse. I wish you the best and i hope you smoothly make it to retirement.

With camera cellphone and cursing and nobody back them here even there own gouv dont back them anymore im 100 with the leo in my contry we do call for them and i can say that your all doing awesome job and we thanks you for that

I’ve got 37 years with metro & retire in 8 months, because my last of 3 kids finishes law school, so I had to keep my last on my health insurance, I started at 19, but graduated the police academy at 20, and I was too young to purchase ammo for my metro issued 357 mag with issued +P+ 38 special rounds, because the politicians would not allow us to use 357 magnum hollow points while we were being shot at with Browning High powers Barrettas, High capacity Tech 9’s, MAC 10’s ,MAC11’s, Korean calapsable AK47’s & Kalashnikov AK-47 wood stock imported directly in the 70’s-80’s from Russia. Yet on our academy issued Sam Browne we could only use 12 round leather loops bandalier “bandalero” and were not allowed to use 6 round revolver speed loaders because politicians from the metro area & state said they looked TOO aggressive on our gun belts. We. Made sacrifices so come close to level the playing field, but we could never be viewed as aggressive ,or our incident would show up in the morning paper & news. Now BLM & politicians who want to stay in power, blame LEO’s for the crime rate , recidivism rate, crime demographics, and a cop who was clearly going through PTSD just like a military combat veteran, kept his knee on that individual who was trying to buy dollars with counterfeit money, and handled that in a method, not consistent with politicians & constituents looking to befriend BLM? Chauvis the Minneapolis Police officer, had a Bachelor degree from the state university, served 4 years as Army military police, received 3 medals for commendations & Police Medal of Honor for saving civilians lives. 4 years as a Army soldier military police & 21 years as a police officer 18 complaints, yet only 2 substantiated & received 2 reprimands? Yet using the same tactics that he learned from his own department, to say he was “PERSECUTED” is a misnomer , it was a carefully calculated witch hunt that was caused by years of civil rights violations by politicians, civilians, and law enforcement. Yet the only civil rights violations that are kept with running tally are those of Leo’s. Not criminal & non-criminal civilians who violate civil rights of any human in their path, or politicians who are known to violate any civil rights as long as they stay in their political position, but Leo average is multiplied by a divisional integer highly perplexed due to magnification from BLM & the media & politicians. If they educated all the young folks, who may be interested in law enforcement, before attending the academy, then I can not imagine how in their correct mind, would give their life so that others may live? I learned the hard way after being shot on 11/11/1994 & 08/09/2003, yet had to stay full time with out a disability retirement because my family & I could not live on 75% of my base pay. I’m not defending the Leo who’s actions may or may not have been contributing factors, but I have been on the streets only on uniform patrol for 37 years 24 of those as a senior corporal. But this persecuted young man was actually persecuted by the entire world without anyone giving him a free democratic humanitarian Defense, after seeing mobsters bragging about killing over 36 people, and the government issued freedom & placed them on witness protection because they turned in other mobsters, yet this fella went to his police job that day then became public enemy #1 instead of an opportunity to defend himself fairly, because the US Declaration of Independence declares that every US citizen accused is allowed to meet his accuser, only this Minneapolis Police Officer accusers were ambiguous, arbitrary, and always very well hidden within the mobs protesting.
