Beautiful tribute to amazing legend of wrestling superstar Billy Graham will always be a legend we will always miss you rip gone too soon but never forgotten about always in our hearts ❤ prayers to your family and friends 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Look up into the heavens and you will see the Superstar rearranging the constellations with his arms creating his own Superstar Constellation!!! R.I.P. Superstar you are the “Best” brother
The man exuded charisma. He electrified the WWWF and wherever else he performed. He was idolized by many all over. You had to be there then to understand just how much .
Vince Sr for all his success...missed the opportunity of a lifetime with SSBG.......Hulk-A Mania could have occurred 10 years earlier.....This guy was so over I remember being in MSG when he was champ as a "heel"...and he got more cheers that his face opponent....RIP ...This guy was THE MAN !!!!!
Superstar Billy Graham was training partner with Arnold for a time and I found that facinating at about 12 years old. My uncle and I would would watch wrestling with Gordon Solie where I would learn anatomical terms from him like Solar Plexus. The physique and charisma made me a fan. I wore out the tie-dye shirts that wore in his honor but eventually will be getting more. As a person a man of God too.
Wayne come to our Gold's in Charlotte from the late 70's to early 80's when I worked there part-time as a young man with Roger & Pete. He was a great guy, a lot of steroids, and by the early 80's a lot of mobility problems with hips. He never worn shorts later, only wind pants to workout and used a lot of cables and dumbbells. Steroids destroyed him, I never was close to it but Roger & Pete knew everyone who did them with Crockett Promotions. Graham was way ahead of his time in wrestling for the short time he was on top.
RIP to a wrestling great. Got to donate to his GFM account while he was recovering. That brother back in his prime had more than the look & charisma, he had Funk & he had style. Condolences to his family. Live on the sweet legacy, Preach
On behalf of my family and friends we send our love and prayers to the family and friends of the Late great fromer wwe champion and wwe hall of famer Superstar Billy Graham at age of 79 years old #legend #wrestling #wwe #hereo god bless superstar Billy Graham
I'll always remember when him and Billy Jack had that full nelson contest years ago. Thanks for the memories, Superstar you were one of the greatest wrestlers. May you rest in peace 🙏
When I first became a wrestling fan, Superstar Billy Graham and Jimmy Superfly Snuka were reasons why I stayed glued to the TV. One of my all time favorites. I just got the news. RIP brother!
Saw the Superstar many times at The Spectrum in Philadelphia. In 1978 a Sicilian stretcher match vs. Bob Backlund, a Texas cowbell match vs. Dusty Rhodes. And more. He always gave 100%. R.I.P. Superstar.
The Genesis of the modern wrestler. The man of the hour, the man wit the power, too sweet to be sour! A woman’s pet and a man’s regret! How you gonna deal with the man of steal? Superstar Billy Graham. Annoyingly, he the belt went to Backlund when, in all honesty, a face turn would have worked for Superstar, but Vince Sr wanted an all American boy as champion. Personally,he should have gone to the NWA following his WWWF run. So much could have been done with superstar down south, but, oh well. He will be missed by all.
i think a big what if for Billy Graham would be what if he didn't leave the WWWF after dropping the title to Backland. He was still the most over wrestler in the world at that point, far more over than Bob. But after he dropped the title he did some work in Japan but he was basically gone for about four years. If he'd stayed then title or not he'd have still continued to be Superstar Billy Graham and still shine as one of the biggest stars in wrestling. Like Jimmy Snuka was a huge star during the Backland years in New York. When Graham came back with that Karate thing in 82 it was just weird. Didn't even look like him. Good on him though for trying something completely new again. It just wasn't anywhere near as iconic as his original gimmick.
Glad you mentioned that. Billy was unhappy with having The Grand Wizard as his manager, wrestling in New York, as being from Arizona, he couldn't hack the Winters in New York & he also hated being The Karate Master, considering he never took a karate lesson in his life. Loved the way he described his career in later years & how his wife designed his tye-dies for him. Sounded like a really nice guy...
RIP Superstar, the Trailblazer.
Very well said. Superstar was an amazing and will always be an amazing trailblazer!
The Original

One of my good friends always was in superstar Billy Graham mode. 😎
Rest In Power! The inventor, the innovator, the originator, the original trash talker in wrestling.
Rest easy sir 🙏🏾

He definitely influenced so many....RIP
So sad 😢 RIP. 🙏
I didn't realise so many other wrestlers copied this guy. He really was a superstar. Biggest mistake in wrestling was making him lose to Backlund.
Backlund was the exact opposite. One note. Never imitated. Just basic, no-frills. Ivan Putski would have been better as champ.
I'm 42 and crying so hard right now. My Mum made me some porridge to feel better. I'll miss you.
Most famous wrestler in history was modeled after "superstar", that just tells about his influence on the business.
RIP SIR. GOD 🙏🙏🙏🙏
He was the first WWWF superstar 💪
RIP superstar heaven needed a main eventer
The coolest and the baddest
He was and always will be the standard against which others are measured.
As a kid I used to confuse this guy with Hulk Hogan especially when he had the same hairstyle with a mustache and sunglasses
RIP Champ!
My idol!
The man of the hour! The man with the power!

NO steroids here brotha ❤❤❤
I liked him better when he had hair.
And yet the WWE didn't think enough of him to help him with his medical bills.
He and Owen Hart are 2 guys you wont find someone saying a bad word about them
