Well thank you for that Pat. I know when I have said in the past that I would pray for others, life would come along and I would put it off or forget, so now, I just stop and do it right then and there.
From Laughlin NV, 90 miles south of Las Vegas also Colorado River dividing Bullhtulips. AZ. My very favorite FLowers are tulips!!! Thank you for your prayer. Ironically, my favorite brother-in-law is on hospice😢😢
Kat, I really like the tip with a single tulip, going to try this one. I also like the way you shaped the tulip pedal. I did watch "Sharon Door Decor" , she did a wonderful job but I like how you shaped them after you put them together, along better. Thank you
Yes, I just wanted mine more pointed less ribbon. I still love that Sharon developed the way to make them so we can make adjustments to make them the way we would like, Helen.
Karen, well this one was a true first for me. I mean I practiced making the petals but never put the whole thing together before so there is that bit of uncertainty
I worked and worked and watched and watched this video but couldn’t seem to make the mesh behave! I used fabric mesh because I heard it was easier to work with. I cut my 10x10” squares with a wood burning tool but found it to STILL fray quite considerably. I fought with the mesh to form my petals. Im not happy with them but if I work them anymore they will just fall apart. What am I doing wrong? My tulips turned out small and I had to use tons of them to cover my board. My customer loves the wreath, but I want to do MUCH better. Im quite a perfectionist when it comes to creating art. Can you help me?
Laura, come join my private group. I would love to help you master how to make this with any type of mesh. I too have that perfectionist trait. katscreationsnmore.com/pages/membershipgroup_opencart
Hi Kat, I’m a newbie to wreath making and wondering if you prefer a specific type of deco mesh to work with? I’ve been using DT mesh and it just seems to fray a lot. Thanks
Noreen, stop using DT mesh, it is the worst. Instead consider purchasing deco mesh from CraftOutlet.com. Not only is the quality so much better but the prices are better for what you will be buying.
Oh Rosemarie, the possibilities are endless of what you can create using any color combinations. You can find the boards at Unique in the Creek.com or some of the online craft places like The Wreath Shop carry them. I bought mine from Amazon using a bundle pack, which I am sharing using my affiliate link from Amazon: amzn.to/42If4XE
