LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga Wii Prototype - Unused Cutscenes

Well well well, looks like we have a new video of unused content huh 😄. I'm kinda dissapointed with what I tested cause some of the cutscenes that are in the prototype look even more finished than the final versions (for example at 5:43, in which characters have facial animations when normally dont; probably devs messed up there).
I know Anakin's flight contain unused cutscenes but those were already tested and im not counting the cutscenes used on the prototype just to not contain audio at all (also cause those are the final versions).

16:29 I vaguely remember this being on either Lego or TT games website with a few other cut scenes back in the day and I always wondered why it was cut. They also had clips of the game spiced with the movie scenes to show the comparison which was fun

Some of the sound effects from the Original Trilogy make it seem too obvious that those films were from the late 70s and early 80s!

I actually didn't grow up with the complete saga at all, I grew up with Lego Star Wars 1 and 2, which had stuff like Luke actually reacting to obi wan's death and the jabba's palace cutscene (which was in the cutscenes section of the shop and not the actual level).

I still find it interesting that Obi-Wan's starfighter is on fire at the end of the Battle Over Coruscant. Especially because some trailers for The Complete Saga had an extra shot of Obi-Wan in the cockpit, implying that maybe there was originally going to be another cutscene in the level, or the Outro was supposed to be longer.

i like how the lost temple escape in TCS is more faithful to the original movie, there is no joke about C3PO and indy runs away by himself

oh so the tcs version of the death star escape outro _was_ going to have luke's face expressions... why did they get rid of it?

Is there a way to reuse individual character models/facial animations in the cutscenes, as far as we know? I feel the Jabba's Palace intro could use the officer's face trying to fight the visible sadness seen in the final game without the strange glow or the bald engineers...

Yeah it might be possible, but it hasnt been figured out that good yet to simply change it

I'm not sure if its an emulation error or something else, but the character models seem very glossy in all the cutscenes, even the normal ones. I don't remember them looking like that, but I might be wrong.
And another thing, it's interesting how some of the facial expression errors seemed to be fixed in the prototype cutscenes, but were removed. I wonder if TT would ever consider remastering or remaking this game. The name "The Complete Saga" is no longer accurate, regardless of your hatred for Disney, and with Skywalker Saga, it feels almost redundant. But this game feels very different to the more modern LEGO games, I feel like it would still be worth it.

The theory i made some years ago was that this game wasnt gonna be the same as the originals cause like why they would bother making different versions of the cutscenes? Seems like the original idea at some point was change the game but they took it down
