By far the simplest video for those new to Binary numbers. I watched 6 videos before this and I was as confused but by the time he got to number 3, I was able to get the binary numbers for 3 to 10. Thanks for saving me valuable time by keeping it real simple
By far the best explanation of binary counting. I watched this video and took an exam on binary counting and made a perfect score using this method. THANK YOU!
It makes a lot of sense. Now I can see why those binary sequences mean what they mean. Here I thought they were random strings of 1s and 0s lol. This is invaluable information. Thank you for sharing.
Started my Networking class and was told we are doing a lot of Binary starting next class. Came up to my teacher and explained to him that I was in the beginner course back in 2017 and didn't remember anything about Binary(dropped out then decided to go back to school 4-5 years later) You rock man!
Thank you so much for this. I'm currently doing a test to count in binary and I was confused even after the short explanation my course gave me. You've made it so much simpler. Again, thank you so much for this video.
took some time for the logic to go through my head, but after paying attention and re-watching 2 times, i now know how to count in binary. thank you so much!
Thank You! Thank You!! Thank You!!!. 7years later, your video still does wonders. This video just helped me understand how to solve the binary. I watched it few minutes ago, and I went on to Ace my exams just by watching your video. Thank You so so MUCH!!!🙏. Happy and Grateful
This video is actually the most best explained video. I literally watched like 10 different videos about binary and none of them helped. But yours did THANKYOUUUU NOW I WONT FAIL MY TEST YEEEE
I was struggling to understand for almost a week now until I listened to you, at the beginning the way you started to explain I already had a hope you’ll make me to understand and you did thank you so much God bless you🙏🏾❤️
though i think this needs a bit more breakdown for the slower learners like myself, this helped me understand how to count. thank you!!!! watching it like 5 times helped me to the conclusion that you are supposed to add the numbers from right to left that will give you the number you are supposed to solve.
I've watched sooo many videos to try to understand how this works. Speaking from a begginer and slow in math point of view. Finally understood thru this very manual, basic and simple video. Kudos to you, Sir! Thanks a lot 🙌
Wow! I was having trouble following my Computer Systems Fundamentals lecture and was thinking I was kind of stupid! This is a much better way to think of binary numbers! Great video!
And this is also how our number system works. The number to the left always tells you how many cycles there have been of whatever is to the right 74 means 7 cycles of the ones pattern, and 4 ones. So 574 means 5 cycles of the tens pattern, 7 cycles of the ones pattern and 4 ones. Base 10 just means that there are only 10 numbers in existence, [0-9]. Counting beyond isn’t anything more than identifying how many cycles of the pattern there have been. Base 2 is the same with only two numbers in existence.
No. Binary can be used infinitely. What makes you think that its core concept is that it works in pattersn of 8 digits? You have written it in a pattern of two lots of four digits. The only core concept is that binary uses only 1s and 0s to represent numbers.
Much easier way to teach people. Use the number 9 in place of the number 1, and do what you normally do. When you add 1 to 9 it changes the next digit to the left.
New to coding an binary has come up so wanted to get better at it, only video iv watched on it. Good stuff did some other pratice numbers and checked them, it all checked out :).
Just divide the number you want to convert into binary form by "2" until it is not further divisible. Notice the remainder of each number and start writing the remainder from bottom to top.
Ive been doing this for a few days, and i tried counting normally but my fingers kept correcting it into binary, so i have to think carefully when i normally count
Thank you for making this much easier than how everyone else explained it.
when my teacher explain i feel my heads going pop

thanks alot . I missed the first day of class and I was struggling trying to understand the material . you made really easy
😂😂 likewise

Life saver, very easy to understand and much quicker than the long division method. Thanks mate.
Thank you so much for this. I'm currently doing a test to count in binary and I was confused even after the short explanation my course gave me. You've made it so much simpler. Again, thank you so much for this video.

Just got into this. Its still puzzles me yet intrigues me.
Nice! I've watched a video lesson 3 times and had no clue what they were trying to say! This made it all clear!
This video is actually the most best explained video. I literally watched like 10 different videos about binary and none of them helped. But yours did THANKYOUUUU NOW I WONT FAIL MY TEST YEEEE
Easiest method i have seen so far...thank you so much
I was struggling to understand for almost a week now until I listened to you, at the beginning the way you started to explain I already had a hope you’ll make me to understand and you did thank you so much God bless you🙏🏾❤️
Short, simple, straight to the point.
may i just say, your handwriting is nice.
I was struggling with understanding at first, but now I understand very clearly. Thank you so much!
Daddy Sakurai brought me here
I wonder if he counts in binary in his regular day to day life, or just did it for the direct.
Thanks sakurai
I can now count to "salty about byleth: 3 houses" on one hand
daddy wani msun wenja
mee too
UA-cam university💯🤝 this simplified counting in binary completely. Thanks

This and the one on Bites and Bytes are the best tutorials. Thank you!
Bits and Bytes
you just saved my career thank you so much!

Thank you so much. That made so much more sense than the way the Google course put it across to me.
i thought what is he talking about but then i watched it again this is far the most easiest example on internet
Bro after days of confusion ive come to a basic understanding thank you
This is the best explanation I've seen on UA-cam.
i didnt get it until the 4 or 5 minute mark but once i did it just clicked. thank you
Thanks, have a project for class and didn’t know an easy way of explaining it.
I was looking for a clear way to explain counting in binary! This is perfect. Thank you!!!
yoh ...the tutorials were the best . I understood everything.....you have made my day
Omg this is the best video on this topic I understood ASAP
Wow! I was having trouble following my Computer Systems Fundamentals lecture and was thinking I was kind of stupid! This is a much better way to think of binary numbers! Great video!
Wow I thought I was confused in class......now I'm really confused
Thanks so much for the video. Simple and straightforward. You earn my subscription
I’ve watched so many other vids and they explain them well but you my good sir have out done them all thank you so much
Sir thank you so much your explanation was splendid and I could definitely use this in future scenarios
Thank you! This is the only video I actually understand thank you so much!
just to clarify further: the reason two is written as 1 is because we are counting in groups of two. Hence, 2= 1 group of 2 and zero units.
Thank you. You made this super easy to comprehend. Appreciate you.
I have 4 pages of homework due on binary and I didn’t understand it until I watched this video 👍

The only problem is he's leaving out the core concept that makes it binary. Binary works in patterns of 8 digits.
0 = 0000 0000
1 = 0000 0001
2 = 0000 0010
3 = 0000 0011
4 = 0000 0100
5 = 0000 0101
6 = 0000 0110
7 = 0000 0111
8 = 0000 1000
9 = 0000 1001
10 = 0000 1010
11 = 0000 1011
12 = 0000 1100
13 = 0000 1101
14 = 0000 1110
15 = 0000 1111
16 = 0001 0000
This continues all the way until 255.
why not 256?
No. Binary can be used infinitely. What makes you think that its core concept is that it works in pattersn of 8 digits? You have written it in a pattern of two lots of four digits. The only core concept is that binary uses only 1s and 0s to represent numbers.
@@joostvoncken950 Because you need another digit to make 256. 256 is 100000000.
This is used, but only to make it easier to convert to hexadecimal.
Much easier way to teach people. Use the number 9 in place of the number 1, and do what you normally do. When you add 1 to 9 it changes the next digit to the left.
Explained very well. Thank you - much appreciated.
This is VERY helpful. I wish you could please include the link to the previous video referenced at the beginning. That'll be awesome. 🙏🏽
I appreciate the quick tutorial. Thank you!
Thank you so much. You explained it SUPER easy and I actually learned from you because you broke it down. Thanks
I'm half asleep and didn't get it the quick first time but the second it for sure made sense. Thank you. Still half asleep. =]
Big fan sir thanks for giving me clarity in binary form
You can't explain it simply if you don't know it well enough. Thanks so much for breaking this down to the basics, was very helpful.
Only video i found helpful from the UA-cam's. Thank you so much.
Thank you! Finally someone made it easier!!!! I appreciated it!
Way easier than how my College professor did , I was just so lost now with just half attention I got it and will never forget it ...
I love your handwriting
such an easy video! Thank you!
🤯wow, this helped me. Thanks. Very well explained.💯💯💯💯💯💯
I love you so much, god bless Fr- trying to understand in class was making my head do tricks and not the good kind
New to coding an binary has come up so wanted to get better at it, only video iv watched on it. Good stuff did some other pratice numbers and checked them, it all checked out :).
This video is so clear to understand, thank you 🎉
Excellent explanation mate
Didn't understand at first then mind blown once I did haha. Thanks
Thank you! Helped me understand it in less than a min.
Amazing description! I understand now! Thank you so much.
Watching the video in another language, I understood it! Thank you for the video! Привет из Казахстана!
Thank you for you explanation👏👏👏
you nailed it. way easier than wrapping my head around dividing. this is better
Just divide the number you want to convert into binary form by "2" until it is not further divisible. Notice the remainder of each number and start writing the remainder from bottom to top.
Thanks sir, you are a brilliant sir. Keep it up.
Ive been doing this for a few days, and i tried counting normally but my fingers kept correcting it into binary, so i have to think carefully when i normally count
Thank you so much, your video was so clear
Thanks for creating this video
the formula is 2^n where n starts from 0 until the result reaches 256
Nice explanation , thank you so much for your time and effort.
Omg! Thank you so much for this video! I finally understand how to count in binary! wow! Thank you
thanks sargon of akkad, i now understand binary!
That’s wild I didn’t even recognize that until I read this
Thank you so much for explaining ☺️☺️
Great video. Thank you!
So easy do it like this thank you very much this helped me a lot
You are a genius. thank you.
i think with a little practice this is an obtainable skill , I was kind of worried when the script started talking about counting in binary
Amazing explanation helped me a lot.
Thanks for the breakdown this helped me out a lot
Very clear explanation . Thank you
Thanks,for great explanation
Thank you so much for this
thanks a lot, this filled in the gaps
thank u thanku.....this is one of the vedio which tells the right thing and is very usefulll
Wow. Way easier than how it was being explainrd
So . . . in theory, a complex communication code could be created using colors.
Thank you 💙✨🙏😇
I still don't get what Unit means and how it works. Is U supposed to be 1 or 0?
Any particular reason you say unit instead of 1?
Thank you! You made it so easy! 👏👏👏
thank you for helping me use this in my everyday life :)
Your teaching is going to help me on my advancement test. Thank you.
what do we do with a number like 3920?
This makes too much sense it’s scary
that was so helpful! thanks a lot
