And Wolfgang isn't very common anymore. An english version would, as far as i know be William.
@@lukasmuller4606 Actually Wolfgang is a pretty common name (at least in my region (Oberbayern)) it was more popular a few decades ago but it's still present. And I personally think it's meant to be Hans cause it's just this more stereotypical name associated with Germany (or in that cause more precisely Bavaria)
This sketch used very stereotypical names and traits for the foreigners. Wolfgang is a traditionally German name (uncommon nowadays) as well as Pierre being a common French name (he even carries a baguette in his backpack)

OMG, This is soooo relatable being a fluent German speaker and also German by blood! I feel bead for my friend's faces when they ask me to say something in German and I end up yelling at them cause that's really just the German language! Good job on this sketch Studio C!

I don't think the Germany accent is accurate enough. The word "We" is pronounce "Ve" because some English words that start with W are actually replaced with the pronunciation of V.

Taylor Whipple Gentle comedy is one thing, but stereotyping a group of people like that is messed up. That whole "the French are cowards" thing isn't even true. It's funny when Studio C make a cute little reference, but that's just wrong. It's this kind of behavior and generalization that breeds and perpetuates the kind of culture that exists today.
