more like 7 to 10 hours, fresh mett must be eaten as sone as possible, after 12 hours no one would eat fresh mett anymore, maybe premade with preservertives, but that is not the right way and deffently not the german way.

I’ll prefer to prepare them myself. If I order them the woman in the store could get confused if I order a pepper onion bread with a bit of mett 😂
