Metalizm it's my favourite from the album!
As next reaction, how about looking how they started? The first MV they ever released, "Doki Doki Morning", and try to guess how old they were :D

Great reaction. "METALIZMIZUMIZUMU" - great song - Middle Eastern/Egyptian/Arabian (or similar) trance metal at its best.🤘🦊🤘
Can you sue for body movements? Possibly, but I'm probably not thinking of the sort of movements you were talking about.💩🤣
Is there another song like this? Most of their songs are pretty much one-offs (you will find some in the same sort of wheel house, like 4 or 5 power/speed metal song for example but even they have their own differences). This one definitely caught us all off guard with the Middle Eastern/Egyptian/Arabian (or similar) influences. Maybe the closest to this would be their homage to Bollywood and Indian music 'Shanti Shanti Shanti' (find a live version - the guy who got his hands on the kaleidoscope effects in this video really went over the top on the 'Shanti x3' official video😵‍💫).

I remember someone trying to sue Alfonso Ribeiro, saying he copied the Carlton dance from them. It went nowhere

Hah that's the power of the kaleidoscope. Once you start you can't stop. I will be checking out all their songs at one point. Potentially might do an album review 🤔 Thanks for watching Grington ✌️

Another song with that typical wtf effect they get us used to it.
SuMetal is narrating us a King's tale of the Metal Kingdom with this psytrance mixed with middle eastern, Egyptian, Arabian or whatever sound that looks so cool with the unique blend of BM. You'll hear a lot of songs with edm sound in this album.
This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One - Clear Night live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama, last April 2nd with MomoMetal debuting as the new official third member, she was one of the avengers since 2019 and we're all proud of her, but don't think this as a replacement of YuiMetal, she's like a new incorporation to this group for this new lore and metalverse era. Also the BM logo change, it doesn't have the skull and the heart in the B letter, as well there's only three feathers in the logo unlike four prior to this.
The Western Kami Band was in charge of these shows.
Some fans at Sabaton's Europe Tour were enjoying this song live, but everyone were having a blast with the new singles and classic BM songs.
If you're looking for Monochrome live version I'm gonna leave in my next comment where to get it usually safe to react, the Piano version is at The First Take.
Thanks for sharing this and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Metalizm was premiered in the two-day shows on April 1/2 and I witnessed the both at the venue in Yokohama😍. This MV is from Day-2 when Momoko appeared as the 3rd official member, Momometal, for the first time. Western (American) Kami Band did a great job in those shows and their actual plays were much better and heavier than the studio sound in this MV.
You may have noticed the repetitive phrase "Zumu Zumu". It is interesting, because it reminds me of another phrase with tonal similarity "Muzu Muzu". When you feel itchy or tickling or a kind of slight frustration, Japanese people express it using this phrase "Muzu Muzu".
In an interview, Su referred to this song with Arabic flavor as "a new drawer of BABYMETAL" [source : magazine PMC vol. 27, page 41]. I viewed this choreo on stage by Su, Moa and Momometal as mixture of seriousness, playfulness, comicalness, therefore amazingness on top of Su's fantastic vocals and intricate guitar phrases and hefty drumming by West Kamis. The new drawer is a tribute to New BABYMETAL.

Thank you for the explanation. I was interested in the Zumu Zumu, i think i heard it as Muzu Muzu actually when listening. I would love to see them live, I highly doubt they'll be coming to my city though 🥺. Thanks for watching ✌️

@@TheRapSheet BABYMETAL refers to UK as their "second home" and have played there numerous times since 2014. This year they performed in Leeds, London, Cardiff and Glasgow when they joined as support to Sabaton tour in May. And they are scheduled to hold their headline concerts in London (2 times) and Wolverhampton in November. I believe you have chances to see them live.

2nd home!!! Yes! London is a bit too far away for me. Wolverhampton is a possibility, but a very odd location to choose. I'm going to have to look into this thank you 😊

I recommend their song Light and Darkness. There is a live performance of it uploaded by who. It does have a logo covering the video during the intro of the song to prevent it from being censored on YT, but it fades once the song starts.

You got questions? One more time.
BabyMetal began in 2010 there were Suzuka Nakamoto age 12 Moa Kikuchi and Yui Mizuno (Yui left in 2018 due to health reasons). Both Moa and Yui were 11 years old when the group began.
All three were friends and classmates who attended an idol school/group (Sakura Gakuin) founded in 2010 by Amuse Talent Agency for girls 10 to 15. Themed around school life (they attended regular school as well) the girls would learn and train at vocals, dancing, public speaking and etiquette, etc., graduate at age 15 and then move onto whatever entertainment path they chose or that suited their talents.
Key Kobayashi was a music producer for Amuse and heard Suzuka sing at age 9 and was impressed with her strong vocals and stage presence. Kobayashi was a fan of heavy metal but believed that the genre had become stale and tired (especially in Japan) with metal bands getting old Kobayashi believed the genre needed to be reborn (BabyMetal means the birth of a new metal genre). Kobayashi felt that Suzuka had the ability to front a metal band and that her vocals and presence could withstand the metal guitars and drums. The fusion of Jpop and Metal began. He placed Moa and Yui as backup singers/dancers and a phenomenon was about to result.
At first Amuse showed no interest and the girls had only financing from Kobayashi. They performed at strip malls and small venues using clothes borrowed from friends and family. No money for a real band they had friends dressed in homemade skeleton costumes pretending to play instruments to a backtrack. They became a sensation (these young ladies paid their dues). Amuse saw the potential and in 2012 hired the best session musicians Japan had to offer (The Kami Band) who tours with them today (now includes world class musicians from the USA for tours outside of Asia).
If you choose to explore more of BabyMetal I suggest reacting to LIVE performance videos as this is where they shine.
They have over 50 LIVE songs/performances and each one is different. They are fearless exploring many genres and have the respect of the legends of Metal such as Metallica, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Judas Priest and more.
Avoid Glastonbury LIVE performances as the sound production by the BBC (who was in charge of that festival did a terrible job - mics not turned on, incorrect volume levels, etc.)
Suggest reacting to these for a start.
Karate LIVE at 2016 Download Festival in the UK where 60,000+ British metal heads sing along with the girls.
    Megitsune LIVE at Budokan 2021
    Syncopation LIVE
Yava LIVE with Kami Band intro at 2017 Fox Festival
Road of Resistance LIVE in Japan
    Headbanger LIVE
    Tales of the Destinies LIVE
Catch Me If You Can LIVE with Kami Band intro
At their concert in Yokohama on April 1 it was announced that a permanent third member Momoko Okazaki (who is also a graduate of Sakura Gakuin and has been appearing with them LIVE since 2019) has officially become the third member.
Their new album in my opinion that released March 24 is amazing with so many different styles.
Good luck and hope to see you again.
