My Rapala scissors cut braid fine .. 10 yrs old idk.. those are sharp though .. nice

now I know the name....found a tackle bag on the river that had been there 4 years according to the fishing license. The pitbull pliers were in perfect shape and Im still using them! They are the best line cutters out there! Im going to get the split ring pliers next!

Pitbull braid line cutters are the BEST I've ever used! I have about 4 pairs, 2 on the boat, 2 at my workbench. One trick to using these is if you want to cut a tag end cleanly without tightening the line, use just the first 1/4 inch of the cutters...well at least it works for me. But I've purchased and used MANY braid cutters and these are the most effective, even on powerpro super9 slick. Glad you reviewed them!!! oh, and I bought them all when I knew Outdoor Pro Shop as "Monster Tackle" a while back!

Split ring pliers and some good snips are a must have. Oh, and an extra set of needle nose pliers helps...they've gone overboard more than once.

Those braid cutter are cool. I destoy all my stuff by trying to cut the braid knot off the lure. Any ideas?

Take a little extra time to get the right angle before your first cut. I have the same problem.

The tip is sharp, you can make a clean cut very close to the knot.

It's the lighter weigh braids that are difficult to cut cleanly. 20 lbs and lower.
