Keep interest rates low to combat inflation?
Its going to devolve into Gold and Grain shipments. Old school.
I wish you'd avoiding terms like "shock doctrine neoliberalism", even though you might be in the ball park as to what is implied to some degree, this is a needlessly political viewpoint which hardly is subscribed to from the general audience. To articulate something more factual and neutrally charged shouldn't be too difficult. The fact that someone propagates this term does not mean its legitimate.
A great video. Is there any chance you could join Nebula?
They should invite us, it is invitation only
Ukraine has help, Russia isn't coping
Maratha empire Shivaji history please make video
Perun said something pretty fitting in his video about war economies. "War economies work until they don't."
Best example is Germany. Nazi Germany managed a war economy for years without any new foreign reserves coming in. At the start, every time the Germans conquered another country, they went into that country's central bank and took all the foreign reserves. That stopped after 1941
Recommendaing speculative assets in the arts is higly irresponsible. Its an extremely volatile and high risk environement and should not be partnered with. I am quite surprised that your team accepted them as a sponser.
Before the war Ukraine was POOR, extremely poor
You gonna finish that thought or are you just sharing?
@@robyoung703 He is making a point about the severe damages to a country's economy that results from being a colony of Russia, and that it takes decades to get it up and running again, when Russia keeps trying to keep it in its own dysfunctional economic sphere. He is using Ukraine as an illustrative comparison to, for instance, the Baltic countries, who luckily escaped Russian interference and threats of violence and is now much better off than Ukraine and Russia both. He is likewise expressing joy at the much better economic and security prospects of Ukraine as future members of the EU and NATO once the Russian occupying forces has been booted.
Interesting.
What is up with the editing in this video. The quality is all over the place. Why are statements shown and being read. This is not your usual level, very sad.
If Ukraine wins, how are they going to pay off all that debt?
They may have to default.
Ukraine will get Marshall Plan money.
Under no circumstances Ukraine comes out in the positive from this conflict. Russia has oil, and with already heavy sactions on major producers Iran and Venezuela, the West can not afford to ban Russian oil sales. So Russia will always have the advantage. The sooner Ukraine and Russia sit on the negotiation table, the better it's for the world. West can not prop up ukraine for ever.
How long can Russia afford this expensive war? West has no problem sourcing gas & oil from other countries. But you're right, it will be a war of economic attrition.
@@darkgalaxy5548 Full sanctions on Russian oil causes a run on the middle eastern oil & gas. And with Saudis not exactly in a friendly terms with US & already heavy sanctions on Iran & Venezuela, that results in high oil prices. The West is already struggling with inflation, a massive increase in oil & gas prices causes massive internal turmoil. Russia benefits from high oil prices , India, China & the 3rd world countries do not have any obligation of joining in the sanctions against Russian oil. It's a double edged sword. And it's gonna cut Ukraine any which way it goes. Russia atleast has some positives to look forward to.
RUSSIA going or do well in every position but western propaganda do well BRAVO
