As we were talking we began to talk about us and she told me she was always very sad because she can't forget her dead father and because her mother and grandmother are awful (insults, no medical exams for her really serious problem). Since this night I said I will be there to help her and listen to her problems, we talk together everyday and one month ago we had a serious discussion on the evening of her father's death anniversary : she feels dead inside, she's addicted to scarification and she just wait for her body to destroy itself to finally join her father again. Other behaviours let me think that she is in a very deep depression so I promise I won't let her alone anymore and she can count on me to try to help her. We regulary call us in vocal and video and sometimes we're laughing together while sometime we just talk about her feelings : she narrate me all her memories and it's very touching. But since last week, she told me I'm very kind but it's too late, she seriously talk about killing herself soon, but I can't let her do that, we're so close, I don't want to lose her. Yesterday was the same, I was talking to her in video but she was tired, tired of her life, she talked me about suicide again, she cried and also heard sneers in her head... I was sad for her... In fact, she thinks she is completely crazy and I should let her alone, but I can't, she's not crazy at all for me. And to be honest, I think I begin to love her so I told her that maybe I'm in love and she doesn't know what to answer to that. Yes she's pretty, but there's something more I can't describe... However I know that it is impossible : I'm a 19 years old med student and she's only 14, moreover there are 900km between us. That hurts a little, but life is like that. Finally, I didn't know Sailor Moon but it's her favorite anime and she made me know it and I love it too now. And this music makes me think about her, it makes me sad and if I can't stop her... I can't say she's fully ok but things are better in my opinion, even if there are other problems and she still has some "dark periods" but, well, we try to cope with it until the sun comes back. I just can't cry. This melody is so calm and beautiful. It has a big plot. I feel sorry for Usagi because She had a lot to go through.For me, this is the best anime that I can prove to a person who doesn't like anime. Everyone has different tastes. I remember when I saw Sailor Moon. I was 13 now I’m rewatching it at 16 such a beautiful anime and song! I would never have even gotten into anime if it weren’t for Sailor Moon.
I have a Burmese black cat that I named Serenity after the anime. I adopted her from Humane Society on my 10th birthday, she lived up to be 13 years old but we had to put her down on August 14th, 2023 due to being diagnosed with cancer since last October. I remember holding her, giving her head scratches and even seeing her reach out to us with her paw weakly to hold our hands. I told her how much I truly loved her and thanking her for looking after me and my mother for the past 13 years we’ve been together. Eventually, I gave her a final kiss goodbye before she crossed the rainbow bridge.
