- Alien - 1950's Super Panavision 70 style.
The most requested video, was difficult to create the Xenomorph in 1950s style and still make it look correct.
Made with #midjourney #elevenlabs, #runwayai and edited in Premiere. Script by Chat GPT. #superpanavision
Loved the the xenomorph looking like a classic 1950's man-in-suit-creature
But the original 1979 Alien movie WAS a man in a suit
@@videojeff01But it doesn't have the genius of Ridley Scott to make it look much much more
@@videojeff01 It's just that the man was a 7 foot tall, really skinny guy. That's why it didn't look quite human.
@@videojeff01 Bolaji Badejo deserves way more recognition.
@@videojeff01Scott hid the man in suit thing by keeping it in shadow the whole movie, unlike 50s strong lighting.
Why am I so addicted to these? 😅
Same! 😂
Because they are cool.
I thought I was the only one. No matter how warped some of them are, I can’t help but click on them. This is definitely a good one.
Because these trailers are LIT!
bolo..............make your own pics with ai co pilot.....i am ..and you will never use photo shop again ....ai takes seconds to make pics..........
A combination of nostalgia, uncanny valley, and a longing for good movie releases from Hollywood.
In ten years you’ll be able to say, “I want to watch a movie about penguins in space who encounter alien leopard seals”, and by the time you make popcorn, the film will be ready for your enjoyment.
and it'll be absolute shite 👍
@@drey8 but the best shite you'd ever saw because its that bad lol
or say, you want to be part of a film in virtual reality on a planet called Earth and ............................. oh wait
@@drey8hahahaha so true
@@drey8 Yes... but it will still be 10 times better then 99% of the movies made the last 10 years or so that is total super shit and not in the good shit kind of way...
50s rendition of Ripley is WOW.
I am noticing it's the same two people throughout these trailers. I am wondering what the computer is using for input.
No AI-generated butt cleavage for Ripley though. This is the 1950s, after all.
I know, right. It’s 1950’s pinup city.
@@MaestroDrake "Hot female actress from the 1950's" something along those lines. Except Star Wars and Avengers I specifically said Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn.
Please put the video at 2x speed so they can see it better.
i love how in every trailer we "meet" someone and the movie is always coming in a cinema near me. :D
Or "the fate of humanity hangs in the balance"! These trailers are so good!
And the plot is always beyond imagination :-)
@@KatharineOsborne "in a world...."
I'm waiting for the classic "It was a time of war. It was a time of heroes."
Make sure nobody sees you "coming in a cinema."
Abandoned Films should get Netflix funding for a condensed 42 minutes version of Alien with this cast and this glorious cinematic technique. Thanks for the outstanding shorts. Great work.
This is not an abandoned film, it's artificialy created by ai software. All you see is made fake by ai. Sad that we don't see much talent, everything is artificially created nowadays.
Not abandoned films but Artificial intelligence.
@@EKrieger Thanks for the info. It looks great all the same and maybe it will be okay to have an AI show on Netflix that is clearly Marked and Enumerated As Such. Maybe they could pay actual living actors to be the voices just as in Animated Cartoons like Archer or others on DirecTV which I still watch most of the time. Old school for the old guy. Cheers.
Doesnt really take any funding, since the AI is doing 99%. He should crowdsource a top voted script or plot summary to feed the AI though.
@@EnasAntonio Hey guys. The channel is called Abandoned Films.
I would pay good money to watch the full length version of this. Well done. 😊
Agreed! 👍
not long from now, you will get that opportunity.
AI will soon be creating movies tailored to your expectations -- within seconds.
Agreed & me too!
you and me both
Yes.. and Doom, Transformers and Independent Day.. Good Stoff!
+ 1 for including the cat!
😂😂😂
Cat was creepy. wtf was it supposed to be animatronic?
Jonesy
@@johnj4471 What you think they had real cats in the 1950s? Of course it was animatronic.
@@abandonedfilms well it was more as to what the ai thought. In the real movie he was real.
that Ripley is beatiful indeed!!!
Obviously the AI took soviet beauty standards.
Either way, she's a honey alright
Wrong: all "Soviet beauty" based on western standards with solid delay, haha.
@@smertrusne3156 Blah, blah. She's beautiful.
@@e-rokekenedi7834
She is, indeed. But it's hard to find such beauty in a jail of nations.
Abandoned films, how much would it take to make a trailer like this for one of my books? These are absolutely astounding and it would be hilarious to see books, particularly those that don't have screen adaptations yet, brought to 'life' in this style.
I didn’t need to watch 9 of these right before bed. Pure nightmare fuel.
@0:10 The monster hasn't even shown up yet, but their faces are already melting
cause speed jump
I don't like these AI created videos at all because they're inconsistent, like faces morphing constantly.
It was the 50's. I was there. They captured ir perfectly except at least some of the crew should be smoking unfiltered Pall Malls.
@Munakas-wq3gp And totally dead eyes. They say the eyes are the window to our souls, and I think this may well be proof of it. Although it is amazing technology,AI doesn't know what life looks like.
@@atmywitsend1984 If you ever tried Wall-E, you'll quickly get the impression that it creates images like some schitzophrenic I would assume would do...
It: the Terror from beyond space!
Yeah that’s what I was thinking. There already is a 50’s version of Alien
@@patrickcurry4342 I thought the same thing. Alien was based on It.
Totalmente. La mayoría de las películas de los 70/80 están basadas en otras de los 50. Yo recuerdo una escena de Aliens que claramente está inspirada en Them!
Better than anything Hollywood has made these last 10 years! Well played
This one is savage!! But why does Ripley look like she's in a Douglas Sirk movie?! 🤣🤣🤣
You didn’t like Dune or Dune 2.0 Part 1 and 2 ?
You seriously need to go outside if you believe this
@@mumkaimusic Nah
@@HardSarge More regurgitating. Dune's already been done friend'o
Not sure what you call it but that vintage color matting of greenish tint really makes it look like 1950's cinema. Ripley's face, makeup & hairdo also evokes that classic beauty of those times.
04/18/24
I would love to see a modern sci-fi movie with this aesthetic.
No, not Wes Anderson’s Alien.
Seems more like Eastmancolor. Technicolor would have more red saturation. Not sure why they label these Super Panavision 70- that was a 60s thing and has to do with optics and aspect ratio.
You included Jonesy! Thank you! Top notch programming the AI content! Horrifying and the xenomorph was so well rendered!
You channel is head and shoulders above the others!
These are so wonderful. Keep 'em coming!
I'm an AF noobie. One minute long vid and I'm hooked (video) line (subscribed) and sinker (binging) . This Ellen is 5 times more gorgeous and alluring than "bony assed" Sigourgey ever was. One last wish--I want the whole movie-I would even make popcorn for this!!
One of the best faux trailers for one of the best films EVER!
"Dan O'Bannon.....Pinback in Dark Star........wrote the screenplay for Alien, adapted from a story he wrote with Ronald Shusett. He also wrote and directed the cult horror comedy The Return of the Living Dead. He contributed computer animation to Star Wars and worked on cult classics such as Dark Star, Heavy Metal, and Total Recall. "
Now I want to see Heavy Metal as a 50s movie
@@LaserDiscWarrior3043 oh man hell yeah that'd be awesome
John Carpenter directed Dark Star, Dan O'Bannon co-wrote it and starred in it. But you're so right, this man is a legend.
@@danielvogelmann413
He was shuffled out of Alien when Ridley took over apparently. He had a hard time but was quirky and talented.
Dark Star.....now that was a movie!
These are so awesome. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Excellent! I’d pay cash money to see this movie. 😁👍🏻
After seeing a bunch of these, I see the limits of current generative video AI:
-All slow motion
-Human faces are weird
-Eyes randomly glare
-No "soul" felt
It's just too cold to truly touch the human heart.
This.
sure, but as the algo churns them out by the millions and humans teach the nets which they prefer, it will keep inching toward that magical touch
Not just that but morphing/disconnected hands, morphing teeth in open mouths, constantly warping backgrounds too
@@SuperMickyChow But the technology is only in its infancy though. When I was in my infancy I could only draw stick figures and now, 30 years later....nevermind.
Just like the legacy 3DCG, doesn't it?
I am really enjoying your movie trailers. I look forward to them everyday....Would really love to see your version of THE CROW.
Wow THE CROW would be a great one! Good choice
Great suggestion!
The 1950's cinema style is conveyed admirably 🤗
I love how the single "Alien" graduates from a sophisticated, metal-armored monster 0:35... to a skateboarder clad "Creature from the black lagoon" 0:41 ... to a Starship Troopers arachnid baby! 0:51 🤣
I specifically liked that you also featured Jonesy the cat.

The alien should appear as Will Smith eating spaghetti. That's horrifying.
Lol
100 percent
Will Smith Eating Spaghetti 1950's Super Panavision style coming up next!
@@abandonedfilms YES! 😂
@@abandonedfilms "Feast your eyes upon the gastronomic spectacle that awaits, where the only thing that is fresher than the Fresh Prince, is the spaghetti which he so gluttonously indulges upon."
These are AMAZING!! Thank you!
The fun fact that this version is more close to “Planet of the Vampires “ Italian sci-fi which was the main inspiration of the Scott’s Alien !😂
Which was also replicated as Lifeforce one of my favourite movies also written by Dan O'Bannon who wrote Alien too.
and they copied that movie's spacesuits in Prometheus
No one involved in the production of A L I E N has ever mentioned that movie. Not O'Bannon, not Schusett, not Scott. Where did you dig that turd up? Some nerds said it, and now you regurgitate it, NO ONE involved in production EVER mentioned the movie as inspiration.
@@JackBootThugPigs Someone needs to go relax or maybe use the tweezers on his micro bits to get rid of that frustration.... O'Bannon wrote the thing, it was released the same week as Alien... If you think there aren't links that close then you need to learn basic critical thinking.
@@JackBootThugPigs , "Bava's film (along with It! The Terror from Beyond Space, 1958) was a direct influence on Ridley Scott's 1979 film Alien. But where Scott's film tried to mask its humble drive-in origins, Planet of the Vampires revels in its origins. The film literally feels like a pulp magazine cover come to garish life..."[17] Robert Monell, on the DVD Maniacs website, observed, "[M]uch of the conceptual design and some specific imagery in the 1979 Ridley Scott screamer undoubtedly owes a great debt to Mario Bava's no budget accomplishments."[18] Govindini Murty of The Atlantic, in a review of Prometheus, said, "The striking images Ridley Scott devises for Prometheus reference everything from Stanley Kubrick's 2001 to Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man and Mario Bava's Planet of the Vampires. On the discussion of the Alien ship exploration and the creature ...Both Alien's director Ridley Scott and screenwriter Dan O'Bannon claimed at the time that they had never seen Planet of the Vampires. Decades later, Dan O'Bannon would admit: "I stole the giant skeleton from the Planet of the Vampires."
Liked, already subbed, recommending wherever I can. This one is haunting for a number of reasons, one being that AI keeps making Ripley look like young Gina Davis for some reason. This channel is altering my dreams more and more each week. Don't stop!
Gina and Sigourney are both 6 feet tall, so maybe, that's why.
@@jmchezOr because they are both americans. Pretty far fetch either way
I would watch the full movie! Excellent.
Well... THAT was absolutely awesome.
If only we had those special effects in the 1950s. What would current day movies be like? Wow!
The Xenomorph at 0:40-0:41 is the most convincing in terms of "1950s style." The one at 0:53-0:54 looks like he's having an existential crisis (possibly due to having a small head and human hands)!
Edward Scissorhands - 1950's Super Panavision 70
Your Channel Reigns Supreme!
I would watch every one of these if they were movies
Can't say how AWESOME that these are!!!
This trailer was creepier than the real Alien. I’m addicted to these retro trailers, and a large part of that is that they have such an incredibly surrealistic, eerie look to them. They’re absolutely brilliant, but very disturbing at the same time.
Искусственый интеллект, браво, я купился в прошлый раз.
А девки. Шикарные лапочки 😂😅
These retro Panavision A.I. versions are soooo good! 🔥🔥🔥Keep ‘em’ comin’! 👍🏻
I really want to see this kind of remake! The aesthetics are just amazing.
0:43 This guy wins the award for being the freakiest looking human in the trailer.
Would I love to see a full length movie like this. Awesome.
OMG You have to make this. What a great idea! I really hope it comes to reality and not just another fan trailer rather than the film.
0:52 AI funkiness aside, that creature design deserves it's own movie.
Back in the 50’s, the audience would’ve vacated the theater screaming, at first sight of the alien!
Good heaven's man! These are bloody well done! Bravo!
Complete movies should be redone this way and shown in cinemas only ❤️❤️❤️
Hi, very well done! Many thanks! 👍👍Both thumbs up!!
The narrator and narration is great. This is creativity. this is art. Whoever did this, what ever age he is and even fi he easily used computer AI...is very intelligent. This is very good.Tonight, I showed this to my four friends, who age in the 30s. They couldn't believe it. I wish I could have shown you their joy and facial expressions. "Abandoned films", you did your job!
This is great! Please keep this up! So very neat! It gives me vibes of Sci-Fi like "The Green Slime" and others of the 50's and 60's. I wish movies were made like this again!
Graphis and composition are 2nd to NONE! (The renderings of the alternate planets are MIND BLOWING. Love it! More please....How about a version like this of Close Encounters of the third kind?
Please do 1950s Mad Max?
Good shout
DogPeopleProductions did MM fury road
Up vote the hell out of this.
Damn that's a must see
Fury Road is one long overrated vehicle chase scene, don't ever darken this doorstep again with crap suggestions unless road warrior is your first choice
When these can get feature length and coherent, people will legit watch these movies.
I keep saying this is the type of remakes that should be happening now. REAL remakes.
I love these 50's remakes! Keep it up 👍
This was beyond impressive.
A true masterwork.
They were not explorers they were the Crew of a Bulk Ore carrying Feighter.
Not in the original 50s version.
Trailers don't lie.
"A rather expensive piece of hardware"
not really, i remember watching this with my beloved wife who used to be my girlfriend by that time on the autocinema and i remember well they all were brave explorers
These are fun! Whoever is doing this, go you!
Someone really needs to do all the reboots in this 50’s SciFi aesthetic.
Make Science Fiction Great Again!
The women just encapsulate the 50s, glamour and femininity, I'm hooked on these promos
I heard they were making a crossover between _Alien_ and _The Silence of the Lambs._
The tagline is going to be: 'In Space, no one can hear Ewe scream'
He's here all week folks!
Now do Aliens... with 1950s era weaponry!
😎👍
Im amazed to see this magestic artist in Netflix or in the movies
I have no words ........ just outstanding
I feel like the last moment should have had the screaming lady from when they're gathering the oxygen canisters, but done like a 1950s scream queen, and ... silent ... obviously. [Maybe seen through a closed door with a viewing window.] Since, "in space, no one can hear you scream." Ahh well ... what could have been...
Given the tagline, the scream should be muted.
I really wish I knew how you create these.
They kindly list the programs used in the description. I'm sure you can use them too :D
This one was outstanding.... Would love to see a remake of the movie with the aesthetics of this version.
Fantastic! I want to see it now! 2 thumbs up ,way up!
Looks so realistic
50's women were way more beautiful than the current day ones
Ripley is absolutely gorgeous in this version!
OMG !! If only this was true 😢 I subbed right away. This is phenomenal.
This is the type of creativity we no longer see out of Hollywood.
0:46 - His name is Jones
Me and Mrs Jones, sexiest soul ballad of the 70s 😋
Well done, that is exactly how the technology was in the 70's, it's clear that the alien was using a special costume lol! I still prefer to see the face of Sigourney Weaver!
These are incredibly beautiful!
Now I kinda wanna see ET.

Would love to see 50's sci fi classics given this treatment.Maybe it's my age (77) I think they would be instant hits. Please make it happen!
I would love to see whole movies like these. Awesome. Maybe it's because I was born in the 50's, is why I like these, IDK?
That cat was the only one chilling out, while everyone else was getting ripped to pieces. He seemed to be enjoying himself.
It's awesome!! because we love 50s Sci fi.
Excellent work, very clever , imaginative
I love these ai trailers.Feels like another reality. This could actually reinvent cinema.I feel it is that good.Never before felt like this about anything computer generated. The aliens are terrific.Ripley, drop dead gorgeous. The possibilities are limitless here!!!!
BIG kudos for including the Cut scene of nest with Dallas and Brett morphing; the fact there isn't single consistent look of Xenomorph makes it scarier

These would be awesome! Probably impossible to get permission, but a very cool concept!! I think there should be a modern remake of 'This Island Earth', while we're focused on nostalgia.
