@@cfbg lol it’s by far considered the best of last year and an all-time great film, it’s way better than triangle of sadness, and it’s about to win best picture. Stay mad
@doodoopants David Fincher would probably be pleased that watchers picked up on the homoerotic subtext between the Narrator and Tyler Durden, seeing as it was intentional on both his and Chuck Palahniuk's parts
just had the pleasure of attending the film independent live read and it was such a stunning performance and gave me a renewed love and deep appreciation for the script!
Honestly, the best part of letterboxd are reviews for middle ground movies because the reviews are so all over the place. People who write reviews on letterboxd are poets lol and it’s always my go-to after I watch a movie. Reviews for Velocipastor are the best. Should get the director on here just for lols
Congratulations, amazing idea and you also made it very cool by adding the "negative" reviews; not for negativity's sake but at least like this it looks less like a promotional activity.
Ruben‘s reaction to negative reviews was kind of cute. btw I like Triangle of Sadness much more than Parasite. And the real masterpiece directed by Bong Joon Ho is Memories of Murder.

I enjoyed the film thoroughly, knowing that what i see on the surface is only an exaggeration of what I should be paying attention to. This also meant I knew it would be a movie i could watch several times and find new things to think about each time.
Sir, I saw this film because a friend recommended it to me. Just one show in Noida, UP, India. All I can say is, you made the most thought provoking movie of the year. And the most engaging movie of the year.
Really interesting, would have thought he is more a strong negative reaction = good reaction director. Like the Daniels, who were really serious about the negative feedback and even drew some positive points from those criticisms.
Tbh; I don't like Don't Look Up. But I love Triangle of Sadness. I just felt like Don't Look Up kept hitting the same beats too often without any real momentum. And I think a lot of that was cutting back to the big names over and over cause it cost a lot to hire them. Whereas Triangle used Woody Harrelson for marketing and because he was great for that role. Here for a good time, not a long time. That said; Ariana Grande's song in Don't Look Up is hilarious
I can't and never will agree with these so called "left to the Viewer" endings. Its a way out of not having a worth while ending. An ending to a film is the hardest part and the most important. This was a 3.5/5 before the ending and in the end it gets a 2 because of the lazy writing.
