drill hole in floorboard right in front of seat, attach plastic tube to hole long enuf to reach "the unit" with a funnel on "the unit" end, whittle down a cork to stick into tubing when not in use. It works well since a venturi effect "sucks" urine out. Learned this by a childhood friend showing me this setup in his grandpa's car. His gramps would make the wife drive on long road trips and he'd ride shotgun drinking beers the whole way down to Florida. This was in the 70s

I live in Colorado, Denver rather. We grew up skiing and both my parents refused to pull over on the way to the mountains. Yah know “we told you to go before we left!”.
We always had the latest suburban for these trips (In the early days my dad would sometimes fold down the middle seats, keep the “far back” seats for when we needed to be belted in, build a bed type thing and obviously before built in TV’s, would strap a tv with the built in VHS on the center council for us to watch movies!) So they would have us climb to the “way back” behind the “far back” seats, put on pull ups and, well, go… 😂 Dad is still proud of himself for thinking of that. Mom says it was her idea. We kids say it was traumatic 😅

I am quite surprised he didn't sue police for damage. I mean they took good working car, they returned basically barn find with moss and growing on it and rotten tyres and rubbers and all neglected. On S5 that could easily be £10,000 worth of damage... I am just not sure how it is okey to take car in one condition and return it in different condition. I know they didn't expect to return the car, but then equally they should have stored it decently whilst the case is being tried. And even if the case went their way, then it is disservice to tax payers as well. Cars like this are being auctioned, so in this case it would have been auctioned for scrap considering it's horrible condition... and that is the difference between tax payer getting maybe £15,000 and maybe £5,000, how is that acceptable work of Police?! Even then this is absolute bottom of the barrel worst S5 in UK, better cars cost more.

Speaking to the cops eyes lighting up and waiting to take pictures. Not all Americans are bad people.(It's rare a cop doesn't decide to crack down on foreigners.) I worked serving the athletes during the world track event. I got to eat my dinner with them a few times. It was fun. I was genuinely interested in learning about their countries through their stories. I met a woman from Finland, I was ready to go home with her if she asked after a few conversations. It sounds so much more pleasant there than here. She was super nice too.

I disagree about police in Europe, I was stationed in Italy for five years. I got pulled over/stopped numerous times heavily exceeding the speed limit and never once got a fine. One of my favorite stories, I was going about 200/210kph on the Autostrada in my shitty (but pretty) 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe (very rare to see in Italy and most wouldn’t know what the car was). I accidentally passed a police I didn’t see hidden in front of a semi truck, once I noticed I slowed down a bit and saw the blue lights coming up on me and thought I was screwed. The officers did pull me over, the only things they said were please slow down, and proceeded to ask about the car that had numerous modifications that were illegal in the country. After which they said have a nice day and let me go.

The way he talks about UK Cops is clearly based off his own personal experiences. I've never had issues with them. Got pulled over for launching from a set of lights up to 85 in a 40. Pulled over, turned the car off, sunk my face and let him know he was absolutely right and that I was being an idiot. He was telling me about how if he was to give me anything it would be a court summons, he was telling me about how I was dangerously undertaking (nobody was infront of me), but just go along with it, let them know they're right. Told him I'd never done it before (I do it everytime I'm at those lights). Got off with a verbal warning.
Plenty of clips online too of cops just being decent blokes even to those who are in pretty serious situations.
