@@VintageAndPainted you are too kind... I have the Ryobi kit that came with the circular saw, drill and sander.. I have never turned on the saw... I have no clue of how to handle something like that... you handle it like it's just a simple as a paintbrush LOL

That is one well-made solid piece of furniture and I really learned a lot watching this video. Love how you used pieces of wood as spacers so smart and thanks to you I now have an idea of how to install drawer glides. Hope your son loves it.

First and most of all, it looks beautiful!!! 2nd don't they make pocket hole plugs? 3rd..OMG work smarter not harder.. that was brilliant 👏 👏 paint it brown first and then black. I don't know if I would have ever thought of that 💖

That first brown layer was such a simple solution. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner. 🤦🏼♀️ I was over thinking it.

whoohoo, a build, glue covered fingers and all.. nice work, would mixing the brown to the primer b4 rolling it on have made a difference to how the primer worked? and a the promise for more builds to come, nice.. be well
I knew you’d love that Neal 😂 you know I am not sure if it would’ve changed the primer. Dixie bell is more of a chalk/acrylic based paint not like the DIY paint I use so it may not have changed it too much. But that’s a fabulous idea as well. Mixing some of the paint with the primer to tone down the white.

When I was younger, a carpenter and I built kitchen cabinets from scratch for a subdivision. We had never heard of pocket holes. It would have been a game changer. You did good.
Yeah, dad said the same thing. This pocket hole jig is a game changer. I can’t imagine having to build cabinets without it. That’s so cool that you built them from scratch even without a handy jig. Very cool.
I am always astounded when I think of it also. At least we had a pneumatic nail gun.
