I like your videos bruh, ive been following you ever since i started my Extra Low Voltage Sytem course, hope to see more videos on intercom and PA systems
You can make the non-Poe camera into a PoE camera by having a PoE splitter attached to the camera’s power wire and Ethernet port. This splitter will allow it to be connected to the poe switch via a single Ethernet cable. So, your non-Poe camera is now working as though it is poe
@ Yes, a non-PoE camera can be made to work over Power over Ethernet (PoE) using a PoE splitter along with a PoE switch. Here’s how it works: 1. PoE Switch: This provides the necessary power through the Ethernet cable. 2. PoE Splitter: This device splits the power and data from the Ethernet cable and provides separate outputs for power (usually 5V, 9V, or 12V depending on the camera’s requirement) and data (Ethernet) to the non-PoE camera. Steps: • Connect the Ethernet cable from the PoE switch to the PoE splitter. • Set the output voltage on the splitter to match your camera’s power requirement. • Connect the power output of the splitter to the camera’s power input. • Use the Ethernet output from the splitter to connect to the camera’s Ethernet port for data. This setup allows you to power the camera and transmit data through the same Ethernet cable, effectively converting it into a PoE-compatible device. Just ensure that the splitter’s output voltage and power rating match the camera’s specifications.
How can identify the difference between poe ip cam with non poe ip cam physically if both of the IP cam do indicate if the camera is poe or not please? However, are you in abj? There are some ip camera you need to see
Apart from POE IP Cameras that come with just ethernet cable as terminal, you can't identify a POE camera without reading its name plate. I live in Ghana

Thanks very much. I will do
Note taken! Both are IP CAMERAS but one is POE and the other NON-POE if im right..Nice Video
Yes, that is right

The use of a POE splitter does not turn a non POE camera into a POE camera.

Thanks man.
Understandable🎉
Can I use a poe nvr with an ip camera without powering the ip camera using only ethernet cable. Or I have to buy poe nvr and a poe camera?
When you use a POE NVR, it's best to use POE cameras for an easy setup

What of camera with solar panels
Depending on how power is fed into the camera, it may either be a POE or non POE
can this ip camera work without Internet?
Yes. IP cameras work without Internet
