The only issue is, is that different utility companies and different states aren’t solar friendly. I have struggled so much this year dealing with utility companies out in country Georgia. Some markets are just not quite there yet to make it make sense.
BS for my market. Western WA, you build out a prop that covers a third of a homeowner’s energy and the monthly Solar payment is MORE than what they were already paying. I left because I didn’t help ANYONE and just pissed people off by knocking on their door. The offer literally is not compelling enough to sell here.
Patrick, I have two years of experience installing residential roof and ground mounts for a small company where I was responsible for cad designing, spreadsheets, interconnections, running the install crews, would I be considered a candidate for sales even though I don’t have a degree or sales experience?
I just got hired at a remote sales company . They want me to start working but it seems like they want me to spend money looking for my own leads , and pay 300 bucks for some sales package . Is this common? And do anyone in this business think it's worth it?

@spookybeatz what about the lifespan of solar panels being less than the loan length? as well as the fact that in america people on average only own a home for 7 years and then are left with a lease they have to pass on to buyers which makes it difficult to sell a home

So then don’t sell it there

Sell in eastern wa? 🤷🏽 the cloudiest state out of them all. Change to Vegas or Arizona.

Don’t worry. Solar companies love young baby face kids because they haven’t developed a sense of ethics yet AND they get lots of sympathy deals.
