The 51% of the parliament majority could legislate decree against the martial law but if the President veto's the anti-martial law decree, the decree it won't apply, therefore it could not stop the martial law. Just for some context, the leaders and members of the opposition party have a history both as student organizers and protesters while they were in university of being avowed communists and North Korean sympathizers prior to the collapse of the Soviet Union, so when the president says "they're North Korean sympathizers" he's actually not being that hyperbolic. And I believe they will default sometime next year and become like Argentina.
last barking of korea president before impeachment process
Afaik Even though Parliament blocked, Martial Law, only the President of South Korea can lift the Martial Law declaration. Right now The SK military is acting like they are still under Martial Law
Soon be martial law globally when disclosure happens
"disclosure" let me guess.. it's the #illuminagti

So, just a bit of a domestic political conundrum. That was a lot of noise for not a lot of action lol
What? North Korean soldiers are in Russia, far north, no where close to South Korea!
Kim has 10,000 soldiers in ruzzia and Ukraine. 940,000 in N. Korea, VERY "close to South Korea."
Kim met his match, Junta Yoon.

The tiny threads that hold the worlds civility in civilization are starting to break. The downward spiral to a MAD MAX apocalyptic existence is underway. 😢

South Korea needs to stop stealing USA 🇺🇸 IP’s or else !!!
@@AnotherPointOfView944 yeah your response absolutely illustrated their point.
Literally nothing happened in Korea. Not in North korea, Not in South korea. Inform first, while/panic after.
Apparently he was just playing Tekken. Someone heard the PlayStation shout Martial Law and ww3 almost started
Nothing to see here this happens every year.
Too much Soju in my opinion
Is there any possibility that this wasn't fomented by North Korean agents as a distraction to exploit some other as-yet unknown vulnerability? Might they not have needed it to succeed, but just to last long enough for them to accomplish their goals?
Dysfunctional politics? We've had that in the US since Nov 63.
That "Katalk" sound haha 😂
At the minute 1:21 you can hear, in the background, the kakao talk korean messaging app incoming message alert, which is quite funny.
You literally have former communists, and not like American colored hair and weird ideas about gender communists, they're ties to North Korea and soviet style communists in the opposition party. Also this "martial law" is nothing like what the South Korean dictators used to do in the 1980s. These dictators did not mess around and they were perfectly happy to shoot protesters and torture prisoners to give up their conspirators.
it sounds like democracy has quite a few conditions for when the opposition outnumbers the ruling class 🥱
do i detect Putin involved in this?
For once, probably not. I don't think Putin has a large enough window in SK to meddle to any useful extent.
China on the other hand...
(In Michael DeSanta voice) DAFUQ HAS HAPPENED?
The human rights guest saying that the legislature made it "impossible for the executive branch to function" is ridiculous. They are the opposition, and they have been elected. They are not supposed tomlay down and do whatever Yoon wants. It's shocking this guest is a specialist in Korean politics. He's either painfully ignorant or some kind of ally to the faction of South Korean conservatives aligned with Yoon.
Legally the army should stand down.they won't as the Americans have made sure only conservative right wing officers rise in s Korean army
what about the USA military stationed there? i was there 89 to 92
U.S. soldiers wouldn’t be involved the bases are likely on lock down.
This is the 10th marshal law? Doesn't seem that serious then.
Last was in the 1980's.
Under martial law, no political activity is allowed. !!! God bless S.korea & President Yoon!!! 🇰🇷🇰🇷🇺🇸
This is just a preview of what’s to come with the incoming administration here in the USA🇺🇸😂😂😂
I sure hope not. Ugh. Thanks a lot maga voters.
