the reason is such groups were never mainstream and nor reacted to. Homefree, Voiceplay, etc have been around a long time, decades but people didn't really know about them because such groups weren't popular enough. When Pentatonix came into play they became popular and the face of such singing groups and people started to react to the other groups. Of all the Acapella groups out there, Home Free is my favorite. They have a richness in sound like no other. If you were hearing them over the radio, you would never know that there were no instruments. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. You never come out.

Oh, my love, you have opened the Pandora's Box that is Home Free. Welcome to the world of Home Fries (fans of Home Free). They have more than 100 official videos for you to explore. I think you should add these to your list: "Ring of Fire" featuring Avi Kaplan of Pentatonix, "How Great Thou Art" just amazing harmonies, "Butts Remix" if you want a laugh, and they just released "Only In America" on July 2. They will be releasing "Born In The USA" probably Friday, a Bruce Springsteen cover, in which they add a guitar, because you can't do Bruce without a guitar. Yes, they are all vocal, everything you hear is done with the mouth/voice (with the notable exception I just mentioned). ENJOY THE RIDE!

Welcome to the Home Free rabbit whole. There is no bad songs out there. Us Home Fries love to see others who are just as much excited to hear them and you won't find a better down to earth group then Home Free. I would give you suggestions but I would just be repeating what LoRyder said 3hrs ago. Looking forward to hearing more.
Since you are just discovering Home Free, I'd like to offer you some advice: people are going to suggest that you listen to their cover of Mayday, please don't listen to it YET. The reason is that there is a surprise in the song, and if you haven't listened to at least 7 songs, and know the group members, and how they contribute to this excellent group, the surprise will be lost on you. That said, there are a couple of songs I'd like to suggest that will help you, and give you an idea of how talented they are; Can't Stop This Feeling, and When A Man Loves A Woman. I advise the official version of each. As a bonus, you can also listen to their cover of End Of The Road. I do hope you enjoy your journey down the Home Free rabbit hole, you are on your way to becoming a Home Fry (fan). ✌️😎
Oh.- my - gosh!!! How on earth did I ever miss Mayday? And you're right, she *most certainly* needs to know each group member's typical vocal contribution to truly appreciate the surprise. Thank you for making the recommendation. I would have missed it otherwise.
Ring of fire by Home Free, Misty Mountains Cold by Peter Hollens and Tim Foust (Tim is the bass in Home Free) oogie boogie's song by Voiceplay, Sixteen Tons by Geoff Castellucci. There's a good start for you. Listen to them with headphones, its so much better 👍🍻
Actually, "Man of Constant Sorrow" was first published as sheet music in 1913, and was first recorded in 1928. Bob Dylan is only one of many many artists who has recorded this song. The version Home Free is most similar to is the one by Dan Tyminski and Union Station, from the movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?"
I didn't know Bob Dylan did a version, I'll have to look that up. Fun fact, Bob Dylan's real name is Robert Zimerman which I personally think sounds cooler than his stage name. Its very Jewish though and there was a lot of antisemitism in the music industry in his time, so maybe that's why he changed it.
@@stephanginther9051 Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, the Stanley Brothers (bluegrass legends), Ginger Baker's Air Force, and that's just off the top of my head...OK, I just looked it up. Add Judy Collins, Rod Stewart, the New Lost City Ramblers, Waylon Jennings, the Dillards, Jackson Browne, Dwight Yoakam and Peter, Paul, and Mary. And those are just the names I recognized.
This song is a very old American Folk Song that most definitely pre-dates 1913. Prior to that it was learned by mimicking because most folks could not read & most certainly could not read music. The originator or writer(s) of this song is unknown.
Yes, voctave. Each of the 4 has a unique approach. Voctave- the most technical, choir oriented. Lotta Disney. Voiceplay-musical theater Home Free- country Pentatonix- pop and rock However, significant overlap. Nicely, they all know each other, and are friends
Since Pentatonix rapid change of members, I take them off the top rung for now. The new Pentatonix doesn't have to sound "like" the old Pentatonix, but they will need to regain their place.
I always love the look of shock when someone first hears Tim's voice. My personal favorite thing is for someone to get familiar with Tim... this, ring of fire, misty mountains, etc, then have them watch Mayday to see their brain melt.
Congratulations Samantha: this is my new favorite first-time Home Free reaction video! 😁 The utter shock and bewilderment on your face was priceless. In case no one has done this for you yet, here is a Home Free primer: They started in my state of Minnesota, and they won season four of The Sing-Off. They do a lot of country-flavored music, but they can do any genre and do it fabulously. The guys from left to right.... Rob - The Beard. Beautiful tenor voice and a constant source of humor. Chance - The Other Adam. His name is Adam Chance, but often just goes by Chance to avoid confusion. A great baritone/bass who takes over the low stuff when Tim sings lead. Austin - The Attic. Gorgeous high tenor voice and another great source of humor. Adam - The Machine. Drums, percussion, harmonica, you name it....all with his mouth. Pretty sure he's not human. Tim - The Cellar. Possibly the lowest and richest singing voice I have ever heard. His lowest notes come from the mines of Moria. Also another great source of humor. Chris is Adam's brother, who left the group to pursue a solo career and was replaced by Chance. You'll see him in some older videos. As for what to listen to next, you really can't go wrong with anything they do. I would suggest "How Great Thou Art" (pure vocal perfection and stunning scenery), "All About That Bass" and "I Swear" (both show their comedic side), "Ring of Fire" (featuring my other favorite bass, Avi Kaplan from Pentatonix), and possibly my favorite, "Do You Hear What I Hear?" (in a beautiful winter setting). Also, their song "Mayday" is fantastic, but I encourage you to hold off on that one until you've become more familiar with the group; you'll see why once you get to it. I really apologize for this being so long, but I really get excited when someone discovers my favorite acapella group. Enjoy going down the rabbit hole, and welcome to the Home Fries fan group!!
If you don't already, make sure you have good earbuds, or over the ear headphones for the true glory of this group. Home Free is on par with Pentatonix for a capella greatness, they compliment each other. PTX is more pop/synth and Home Free is more Country/blue but both groups cover a lot of genres. Welcome to this rabbit hole! Austin Brown (Lead high tenor) and Tim Foust (bass) have an unfair advantage over the females (and some males) with their voices....Rob Lundquist (Beard) is a silky tenor...Chance (Adam Chance) is the one doing the mouth harp sound...he is a barritone/bass and the vocal percussionist is Adam Rupp (HF co-founder) and is a "freak of nature" with his uncanny ability to mimic sounds, like a full drumset and harmonica :). Their harmonies are no joke...and very tight...for 5 part harmony check out "How Great Thou Art", "Helplessly Hoping" and a few others. For fun, check out "Butts Remix", "Champagne taste on a beer budget" and a few others...for soul, check out "End of the Road" and "Blue ain't your color"....so much more.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole Post videos of these guys, and your subscribers will SOAR ! I noticed your face lit up when Tim, the bass sang ! Listen to “Misty Mountains “ by Peter Hollens ft Tim Foust Its a real treat !
We females know how you are feeling! They are phenomenal! Thank you so much for reacting! New sub here! Welcome to Home Free! Can't wait to hear you do more! Try out "When a Man Loves a Woman"😃♥️
Thank you SOOOO MUCH for reacting without butchering!!!! So many reactors think that THEY are the art, and the song gets chopped into 27 pieces with 20 seconds to 5 minutes of blah, blah, blah at each interruption. Your REACTION was super evident while still honoring a great performance. I swear some "reactors" would run the Mona Lisa through a cross cut shredder, then jabber on and on about each piece of confetti!!!
Other "churchy" songs include - "O Holy Night" and "How Great Thou Art". There's a huge pile of Christmas music. It's never to early for Christmas Crap.
Samantha, Austin told us on You Tube, that only recently, through the reactors, they became much more known. The american so called music industry boycotts everything that is not owned by them, Radiostations playing songs, blacklisted by the music industry, will get problems. Pentatonix is NOW famous and invited to sing, BECAUSE of YT reactors. You know Pentatonix, dont you? LOL. Stay save and healthy. Gg
This was the first song I saw too and my first reaction was the same. Goosebumps & then how have I missed this. Awesome voices, a bit of flrting some great tenor sounds & beat boxing and then that bass. Just amazing.
Hahaha Home Free has that way of affecting you. I just discovered them during the pandemic and fell in love too. They are ‘a cappella’ so no instruments. They won the NBC show the Sing Off in 2013 the year after Pentatonix won. They sing all genres of music and sing them well. They have tremendous harmonies. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and sing up to tenor as well. They sing a lot of covers but also write and sing their own stuff. Try How Great Thou Art, Die a Happy Man, In the Blood to hear more great harmonies. Three of the boys are from the south the other two are from Minnesota. Loved your reaction!
Do yourself a favor and check out Home Free’s version of “When a Man Loves a Woman”! Austin Brown, the lead singer here, sings the lead in that one too! It’s just fabulous and very sexy!!
Looks like another "Home Fry" here..lol! Home Fries are Home Free Fans! Yes all by vocals. You should check out many of their songs "Mayday" ,"End of the Road" , "When a Man Loves and Woman" just to name a few. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
These guys are straight a capella no Instruments and with so much talent it's really amazing what they can do. Welcome to the home free rabbit hole it's a great ride you'll enjoy it! And you got a new subscriber
The front left is Rob Lundqist (tenor) The back left is Adam Chance (only goes by Chance) (baritone) The front middle is Austin Brown (high tenor) The back right is Adam Rupp (beatboxer/ tenor) (rarelly sings, but when he does, it's a treat) The front right is Tim Foust (bass), in newer videos, he has shorter hair, whith a silver strike. In older videos (2016 and before), Chris Rupp was the baritone of the group, but left on good terms, to persuit his own solo carriere. This is a one of a billion acapella group, that has it all, harmonies, exellent vocals, and a tight friendship. They take turns on the leed, and actually have "triouts" before every song, to vote for who sings what, very democratic, and no divas ;) You can close your eyes, and pick a random song, and they will never disapoint. But can recomend "In the blood", "Crazy life" (se the song to the last second, and beond), "Country fried pop medley", "Remember this", "Woman/ Female/ Amen", "Castle on the hill", "Thinkin' out loud/ Let's get it on", and on and on and on :)
Welcome to the rabbit hole and craft wonderful world of Home Free! There's so many to choose and listen to, so enjoy your listening and mind blowing experiences!
Welcome to the amazing talent of Home Free! Looking forward to seeing your reaction to all of their great work, so many good songs for you to discover.
I just subbed after this reaction. Your enthusiasm is hiw I feel every time I listen them no matter the song. They really are the best at what they do. Thank you for your awesome reaction.
Love watching reactors just to see the faces exactly like you were making. Love Home Free because they cause a lot of these faces. And yes, they are amazing at everything they put out.
Whoop whoop another one down the rabbit hole! Whatever you choose to listen to please share it with us.... Great reaction, have subscribed on back of Home Free. Take care...💐💐
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. About 150 videos, most of them music. They won the Sing-Off tv show on NBC in Dec 2013. Man of constant sorrow is actually a VERY old song and was 1st written down in 1913, and 1st recorded in 1928. The lead singer is named Austin Brown, and he has his own youtube channel that you will want to check out...trust me on this his original song he co-wrote "If I met you now" is *Amazing* . A few other Home Free songs to check out....(originals) Land of the free, Dive Bar Saints, Why you walk in, Cross that Bridge... (excellent covers) Country Roads, Only in America, American Pie (quarantine song), Meet in the Middle (quarantine song), People featuring Jeffrey West (quarantine song), and How Great Thou Art....that should get you started....oh and an older one but still funny as hell The Butts Medley/Remix
I love watching ladies' reactions to Tim's deep bass...gets them every time, and always makes me jealous. I'm just a normal bass, not a basso profondo :(
Welcome to Home Free - a lovely voyage of discovery awaits. Hope you will share more with us, we enjoy following others coming to appreciate their music.
I only dIscoverdd Home Free several months ago, and I just love them. I'll surely watch any reaction videos I find on them or individual members of the group.
Check out Home Free singing Mary Did You Know and When A Man Loves A Woman, you will absolutely be blown away! All of their voices are stellar and the bass singer is crazy good! Thank you!
Pentatonix, Home Free, and Voice Play are three of the most talented a capella groups to check out. Pentatonix: Hallelujah; and the Oogey Boogey song from Voice Play. You won't be disappointed.
This group has been around since 2000. A lot of people did not find out about them until 2013 when they were on the show The Sing Off and won. It was an acappela contest show in the US. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to them.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. It is deep, it is wide, and they are unbelievable. Austin Brown (high tenor), Rob Lundquist (black beard), lead tenor, Adam Rupp, world champion beat boxer, Adam Chance (goes by Chance), baritone/bass and in this case the awesome mouth harp sound effects, and Tim Foust, the unimaginably talented bass with a 5 octave range. Enjoy the journey!!
Oh yes, instant Home Fry! There's no turning back now. 🤣 Welcome to the club! These guys are simply crazy talented and skilled, and you haven't even begun to scratch the surface of their catalogue, or Home Free rabbit hole as we call it. I'm guessing I will see you at a concert at some point on the future.
I got to see them live a couple of years ago. You really can feel it in your bones. When Tim hits his lowest notes it vibrates your body. One of the most amazing things I’ve ever felt. Their version of Ring Of Fire on The Sing-Off is so special. Enjoy the journey that is Home Free!
New sub for more Home Free please. Info on the group: Tim Foust is bass, Adam Rupp is vocal percussion, Chance is baritone/bass, Austin Brown lead here is high tenor and Rob Lundquist with glasses is lead tenor. There are over 150 videos to choose from. They have been around since 2000. They won the 4th season of Sing Off. Welcome to the best a cappella group.
Welcome to the rabbit hole! IMO, while I like other a capella groups like Pentatonix and Voice Play, and respect their talent, I consider them more strictly a capella groups, doing incredible vocal calesthentics. Home Free is a vocal band, a group, that just makes great music, entertains crowds at concerts, and to me, just a more cohesive unit, rather than a great tenor, great bass, great beatboxer. They all are, but first and foremost they are a band, just with no instruments. But do check out more, and definitely look for their originals, they are fantastic. Also, most reactors do the "videos". I recommend looking for the live concert videos to reacte to, so you can see that what they do just isn't studio, it's live. Have fun!
Home Free is: Earlier Years Chris Rupp (usually wearing a Cowboy Hat & always smiling) and Adam Rupp, the Beatboxer founded the Group. Chris went Solo in 2016 with which he is doing Very Well! Adam Chance who goes by Chance was brought in to replace Chris! Chance is the Baritone that has a 4 Octave Range. He can replace Tim, the Group's Bassist when needed as Chance was the Bassist in his previous Group before Home Free. Back to Adam Rupp, he's the incredibly talented Beatboxer and can sing well too! His Beatboxing is above and beyond any other Beatboxer that I have seen! He's also won several Beatboxing Championships to boot!😁😁 Now to Tim, the Group's Bassist has a 5 Octave Range so he can Lead the Group as a Bassist or a Tenor or something in between! He's Phenomenal and he's also taught some other Bassists from other Acapella Group's to be able to do certain things that allow them to get Lower and hit Notes they weren't able to before now. The Bearded Singer is the Group's Tenor and he is Awesome! Such a Creamy Tone and at times his Range is incredible too! To end the Group's Members is Austin the Group's High Tenor. This man is unbelievable! He can hit the highest of the highest of notes and he still can do Low Notes almost Baritone standards! Now hopefully you can get caught up with the Group's Members!
Oh, you are going to love reacting to anything Home Free! Welcome to the experience of Home Free! Everything they do is phenomenal! Thanks for a great reaction!
Thanks for that. That was so funny. I enjoyed your reaction immensely. Just the shock and your appreciation of the beauty was perfect. Good for you for still being alive. Big hug from the the American South.
Loved your facial expressions. I mean, 5 good looking guys with gorgeous voices - can't get much better than that! When you said, "So much sexiness", my thought was "Just wait!" I knew Tim's solo was coming up. (Tim's the bass.) They have so many great videos - any will be a good choice. Two of my favorites are "In the Blood" and "Take Me Home Country Roads". For a fun time. check out "Hillbilly Bone" and "The Butts Remix/Medley".
Try to squeeze some of their original songs into your listening. Dive Bar Saints, Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, Catch Me If You Can, Love Me Like That, or Timeless. They really are amazing.
I have yet to see Home Free in concert, but i have seen Pentatonix, whose music is also acapella (without instruments) so yeah, blew my mind they are making these drum beats, and sounds with their mouths. But Home free is almost purely country, in their annunciation, and bent or style of music, and their covers are wicked! Austen is a Tenor (like me) but Tim's Bass has been known to blow speakers! Everyone tells me the greatest laugh is Tim's last name is Faust! The legend of the Faust is a story of a German i believe who made a deal with the Devil. But i'm sure these guys are not demonic, so nobody come at me for that. Tks for this vid.
@@ericmccrite3815 Yeah Tim has a borderline 6 octave range. At least according to some people. Some say he can go from G0-A5 others say B0-A5. I am not sure as music is not my expertise.
Definitely listen and react to How Great Thou Art, and O Holy Night. You will love them. I highly recommend a good pair of headphones. Well worth it , much more rich sound . A good pair of Sennheisers will do . Not cheap but you will have them for a long time. Have a great day.
They do all genres of music, but really like country . They are the first accapello group to be inducted into the Country Music Industry and appear at many Grand Ole Opry shows!
Mayday is appreciated much more after maybe ten Home Free songs before... Ring of Fire, When a Man Loves a Woman, and at least eight others... before Mayday
Ok Samantha I've just got to say this. I have watched a lot of videos of different people reacting to Home Free singing this song. Yours is my absolute favorite! Your facial expressions speak volumes! In fact, I subscribed because of this video. thank You for being real! God Bless You Mam. ( In case you don't know, Mam is a common form of southern endearment.) Have a Blessed Day!
I've watched 'all' of the reactors watching this video. IMO, so far, you seem to be the only one that listened to the lyrics. Yes, you paid attention to the voices, the sounds; but I loved your expression when the bass sang, "You may learn to love another while I lay sleeping in my grave." Nobody else reacted to that lyric, it floored me, also. New subscriber.
Introduction to Home Free: Group formed in 2000, and beatboxer Adam Rupp is the last original member. First soloist Austin Brown (tenor) was found aboard a cruise ship in 2012. Second soloist Rob Lundquist (tenor) introduced himself to the group in 2008. HF had trouble filling the bass slot until Tim Foust solved the problem in 2010. Bass-baritone Adam "Chance" just joined the group in 2016. All four singers sing lead, and all have wide enough ranges to cover any of the four men's parts.
Now re-listen to it and this time pay special attention when Tim Foust the bass singer does his lead part. Immediately following that he drops a full octave from there for the next chorus. Nobody catches that, I'm a bass singer and I get goosebumps every time I hear him drop that octave and hit his lowest notes in the song. I think most people miss it because they're still in awe of his lead part that he just sang. So give it another listen and when he hits the end of his lead part turn on your super bass ears and drink in hose deep deep vibes. I would love for someone to break down what notes he's hitting, I don't have a keyboard in here to check. I want Tim Foust AND Home Free collaborate on some super cool bass back and forths with Voiceplay's Geoff Castellucci, and deep bass harmonies. Geoff has the deepest of the bass voices, check out this video all the way through for a great example of his entire range: ua-cam.com/video/EbxkOntz2SA/v-deo.html
“Ring of Fire”, “Man of Constant Sorrow”, “Fishing in the Dark” & “Sea Shanty Medley” are my favorite covers by Home Free. But... you really can’t go wrong with anything they make.

Welp!!! I have subscribed because I have a feeling we are gonna see more Home Free from in the days to come. Enjoy your journey with Home Free and if I may give you a few suggestions to react to. A couple people below have already suggested their cover of " When a man loves a woman". Austin, the gentleman that did most of the singing in the video you just reacted to absolutely killed it in this cover. It is a definite Must See. Also, just recently they released a song from their newest album called "Land of the Free" and "Only in America". You are gonna love these I promise. Thank you again for doing this reaction. Can't wait to see more!!!!! Peace ✌
This is the first song I heard from them also. They are an acapello group with a champion beatboxer. The bass sound is Tim Foust. Pentatonix is another acapello group. Listen to "Hallelujah". Home Free has been around for 15 years but gained popularity in 2014 when they won the "Sing off".

Add Judy Collins, Rod Stewart, the New Lost City Ramblers, Waylon Jennings, the Dillards, Jackson Browne, Dwight Yoakam and Peter, Paul, and Mary. And those are just the names I recognized.
@@douglasloss oh wow I never would of expected Ginger Baker to do this song.
This song is a very old American Folk Song that most definitely pre-dates 1913. Prior to that it was learned by mimicking because most folks could not read & most certainly could not read music. The originator or writer(s) of this song is unknown.
Women, amen/Female. But everything they do is great. More reactions to Home Free, pls!
Love that video!
@@cheridampier2524 I haven't seen many reactions to it, though. That's why I always suggest that one😊
Yes Home Free, Voiceplay, Pentatonix top 3 acapella groups in my opinion. They are all excellent!!
also Voctave
Yes, voctave. Each of the 4 has a unique approach.
Voctave- the most technical, choir oriented. Lotta Disney.
Voiceplay-musical theater
Home Free- country
Pentatonix- pop and rock
However, significant overlap.
Nicely, they all know each other, and are friends
@@glennelfmann3143 Yes, we can't forget Voctave. They are absolutely world-class!
Since Pentatonix rapid change of members, I take them off the top rung for now. The new Pentatonix doesn't have to sound "like" the old Pentatonix, but they will need to regain their place.
Rapid change? Both PTX and HF had a member move on and be replaced by another.
In case no one has done this for you yet, here is a Home Free primer:
They started in my state of Minnesota, and they won season four of The Sing-Off.
Thank you so much 😊
As fans we can't stress enough to wait to see Mayday...and I absolutely agree that you will understand instantly why.
Now you need to listen to "Ring of Fire", "Helplessly Hoping". and "Country Roads".
Adam rupp is a 2 time world beatbox champion
Elvira is one of my favorites!
They are truly the best acapella group I've ever heard. And yes, they are five of the sexiest men!
They are unreal. You will enjoy this ride. They all sing lead and can all beat box some as well. They will make you smile.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole
Post videos of these guys, and your subscribers will SOAR !
I noticed your face lit up when Tim, the bass sang !
Listen to “Misty Mountains “ by Peter Hollens ft Tim Foust
Its a real treat !
Will definitely see it, thank you so much 😊
My God, no instruments whatsoever!! This blows my mind!! Top 5 of anything I've ever heard!! Wow!!!
Some of the best harmony, How Great Thou Art!
How great thou art by home free will bring tears to your eyes. Welcome to the home fri family.
What is truly amazing is there’s no instruments being played just the harmonies and the sound affects guy.
I love your facial expressions. It is great to watch someone listen and watch Home Free for the first time.
We females know how you are feeling! They are phenomenal! Thank you so much for reacting! New sub here! Welcome to Home Free! Can't wait to hear you do more! Try out "When a Man Loves a Woman"😃♥️
Thank you so much
Thank you SOOOO MUCH for reacting without butchering!!!! So many reactors think that THEY are the art, and the song gets chopped into 27 pieces with 20 seconds to 5 minutes of blah, blah, blah at each interruption. Your REACTION was super evident while still honoring a great performance.
I swear some "reactors" would run the Mona Lisa through a cross cut shredder, then jabber on and on about each piece of confetti!!!
that guy sings as low as dirt but is soooooooooo melodic what a rare voice.! truly a very gifted singing group
Yep. No instruments. Just their 👄 mouths. Even the harmonica! Masterpiece
They are Fine as Hell!!!💖💖💖
Watch everything they’ve done. “When a Man Loves a Woman” next.
"Auld Lang Syne" They're dressed up pretty in this one and the harmony can break your heart.
That one is ear candy for sure
Other "churchy" songs include - "O Holy Night" and "How Great Thou Art". There's a huge pile of Christmas music. It's never to early for Christmas Crap.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Home Free!
Now watch their Sea Shanty Medley. Good times.
😳😁🤗✨💕 heheee These Guys are a real tonic eh?… And yes! Every sound you hear is made by them…NO instruments… Thanks for a Great, genuine reaction 👍🥰
Here to hear Home Free!! AMAZING!!
Brilliant and enjoyable reaction to brilliant and talented Horne free
I love their covers of Take Me Home Country Roads and Folsom Prison Blues.
My favourite group at the moment they are brilliant you need to react to more ‘home free’
If you REALLY want to fall in love, watch/listen to their cover of "When A Man Loves A Woman"
If you liked the bassist of the group then try Tim foust misty mountain.😂
Looks like another "Home Fry" here..lol! Home Fries are Home Free Fans! Yes all by vocals. You should check out many of their songs "Mayday" ,"End of the Road" , "When a Man Loves and Woman" just to name a few. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
Save Mayday til later. It's best enjoyed when you have a firm grasp on who all the members are and what they do.
Maybe “when a man loves and woman” first 🤔
@@SamanthaLisa good choice....get ready for Austin to belt it out & look you straight in the eye :)
These guys are straight a capella no Instruments and with so much talent it's really amazing what they can do. Welcome to the home free rabbit hole it's a great ride you'll enjoy it! And you got a new subscriber
Thank you so much
The front left is Rob Lundqist (tenor)
The back left is Adam Chance (only goes by Chance) (baritone)
The front middle is Austin Brown (high tenor)
The back right is Adam Rupp (beatboxer/ tenor) (rarelly sings, but when he does, it's a treat)
The front right is Tim Foust (bass), in newer videos, he has shorter hair, whith a silver strike.
In older videos (2016 and before), Chris Rupp was the baritone of the group, but left on good terms, to persuit his own solo carriere.
This is a one of a billion acapella group, that has it all, harmonies, exellent vocals, and a tight friendship.
They take turns on the leed, and actually have "triouts" before every song, to vote for who sings what, very democratic, and no divas ;)
You can close your eyes, and pick a random song, and they will never disapoint.
But can recomend "In the blood", "Crazy life" (se the song to the last second, and beond), "Country fried pop medley", "Remember this", "Woman/ Female/ Amen", "Castle on the hill", "Thinkin' out loud/ Let's get it on", and on and on and on :)
Thank you so much 😊
fun fact chance is actually a bass(sang bass in his last group) but he sings as baritone in Home Free
Thank you 😊
Man of constant sorrow dates back to the 1930s or so. Covered by many voices and made it's way to the charts after appearing in a movie
Love watching reactors just to see the faces exactly like you were making. Love Home Free because they cause a lot of these faces. And yes, they are amazing at everything they put out.
Welcome to the rabbit hole! Great reaction, you can't go wrong with Home Free.
I just heard this song last night. I was just simply blown away. This is just awesome in every way!!! Nothing more I can say.
I've seen a lot of your Home Free reactions, but had never seen your introduction to them. What a great reaction. Aren't you glad you tried it.
Whoop whoop another one down the rabbit hole! Whatever you choose to listen to please share it with us.... Great reaction, have subscribed on back of Home Free. Take care...💐💐
Thank you
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole.
I hope so🥰
I got to see them live a couple of years ago. You really can feel it in your bones. When Tim hits his lowest notes it vibrates your body. One of the most amazing things I’ve ever felt. Their version of Ring Of Fire on The Sing-Off is so special. Enjoy the journey that is Home Free!
You had one of best first time reactions to Home Free that I have seen. They are a great group and have so much more songs you will need to hear.
Home Free is a wonderful group. You can’t go wrong with any of their songs!
Can’t wait to hear more of them. Thank you so much for the info ☺️
@@SamanthaLisa It is always nice to see new reactors discover our boys here. You will become a Home Fry (fan name) quickly.
They have wonderful variety, but one song that doesn't get enough attention is In the Blood. Wow.
Have fun!
Home Free is:
Earlier Years Chris Rupp (usually wearing a Cowboy Hat & always smiling) and Adam Rupp, the Beatboxer founded the Group.
He's also won several Beatboxing Championships to boot!😁😁
Now to Tim, the Group's Bassist has a 5 Octave Range so he can Lead the Group as a Bassist or a Tenor or something in between!
Your reaction is priceless.
Over 120 videos to go through overtime. Their bass has a five active range
@@jdickers11
They only have one bass. Chance is a baratone. He can get low but not as low as Tim.
Correction: “5 octave range”. Do several videos before watching “Mayday” or “Snow Globe”. BTW I’m one of the Home Fries.
@@ericmccrite3815
Yeah Tim has a borderline 6 octave range.
Do You Hear What I Hear is another great one! ✌️😎
They do all genres of music, but really like country . They are the first accapello group to be inducted into the Country Music Industry and appear at many Grand Ole Opry shows!
"Mayday" Home Free and "We're Good" Voiceplay are very good. Glad you enjoyed it!
Till you understand more about them, wait to listen to Mayday.
Mayday is appreciated much more after maybe ten Home Free songs before... Ring of Fire, When a Man Loves a Woman, and at least eight others... before Mayday
Need to know each singer and their ranges and know them by sight... then Mayday is better... enjoy
One of the best reactions yet. I was afraid your jaws were going to come out of joint!
...jaw was, not jaws were....
Sorry for the crappy grammar.
Hahahaha it felt like that. I was so shocked.
I didn’t know what to say.
I felt like a teenage fan 😅😂
Can’t wait to see more ☺️
You are going to absolutely love all the HomeFree songs and videos
I've watched 'all' of the reactors watching this video. IMO, so far, you seem to be the only one that listened to the lyrics. Yes, you paid attention to the voices, the sounds; but I loved your expression when the bass sang, "You may learn to love another while I lay sleeping in my grave." Nobody else reacted to that lyric, it floored me, also. New subscriber.
If you liked this, you will LOVE the rest of their library.
New sub here. Love HOME FREE and thoroughly enjoyed your reaction!
Thank you 😊
You are now a home fry first thing you loved them you can now become apart of the awesome world of home free. Listen to when a man loves a woman.
These guys have a lot of great songs. and they make all the music with their voice.. They are really good.
home free... ring of fire... must see... you'll love it.
New viewer here, stopped to watch Home Free. I just love to see someone experience them for the first time, they are all so super talented and so much fun. Please more reactions to Home Free, would love to see you reacts to "How Great Thou Art".
New Sub for more Home Free!!! Of all the Acapella groups out there, Home Free is my favorite. Enjoy going down the rabbit hole. There is no bad song from them.!
Welcome to the club
Breath, in and out... Just keep breathing... ;-)
They are just mind-boggling. I watch them over and over and never lose the ‘Awwwww’. Brilliant. ❤️
