I love her voice, could listen to her for hours,Kate’s has grown in front of our eyes and it’s amazing to see her success and acting skills ,just precious !
@@sandeepdehury1236 I was so lucky I watched it on UA-cam...... But then they removed it from there I SO much wanted to see it again. But I keep on searching If I get it from anywhere, I'll let you know here....
I watched a little clip of one of the episodes in this series and I don't recall seeing Kate Winslet playing a role that was so emotionally intense. Her daughter played her role well but I think the intensity of the emotions that are expressed is too much. It's based on facts of life and its not easy to watch.
It was extraordinary, wasn't it - the improvisation. I'm sure that they were actually mother and daughter must have helped the instinctive connection between them during that process.
Kate Winslet is gorgeous but I have to say here she doesn't look good at all. She looks very tired. She's one of my favorite actresses of all time. I hope roles keep coming her way.
What an unnecessary comment. She looks like every common woman, that refuses to share this self-optimization. Please, stop this stupid beauty craze, its time for a change!
@@sophiemaria5651 Clearly you missed the entire point of my comment. There's nothing negative about saying that someone looks tired. Perhaps you also don't understand the way Hollywood works AND how roles for woman diminish after 40 years of age BECAUSE OF APPEARANCE. That isn't going to change anytime soon as you have men making the decisions by and large. Now go back and re-read my comment and maybe you'll understand it better since I spelled it out for you.

@@missmayflower I can't have a conversation with someone who's clueless to reality. Apparently you think it's so easy for all these people to have these roles. Yes there are exceptions like a Meryl Streep whose career has never waned. It is the exception NOT the rule. I had lived it last year and my life has changed since then. I am still scared what if my son goes back and to get him on track I really suffered.
I wish we could see this program in the U.S.
Or at least an adaptation.

Kate Winslet on the Graham Norton Show, talking about 'I Am Ruth'

Well she's playing a role with her daughter, I think that's what helped in terms of her emotions.
It was extraordinary, wasn't it - the improvisation. I'm sure that they were actually mother and daughter must have helped the instinctive connection between them during that process.
I've read "on the German Norton Show" 🤦🏻♀️🙈

Sometimes is the make up, or the hair, or the light, or having a bad night... I think she is beautiful too
