At the tender age of 75 I realized that my favorite tunes by the Temptations were sang by Eddie

Thanks for sharing this short documentary on one of my favorite singers. Amazing just how young all of these Temptations members were when they all passed. It was so crazy to me when I would see old pictures of singers from the 60’s and 70’s era with a cigarette in their hands now knowing just how destructive and damaging cigarette smoke is to the lungs and throat. Any way Eddie left a great music legacy for generations to come. RIP Eddie. Temptations 4 Ever.

EDDIE had a voice that out of this world
I loved the way he could sing and reach that high tender note. I still listen to the Temptation on U TUB. I remember when I Was young when I first saw the TEMPTATION at the Circle Star. And you talking about a show. The TEMPTATION really srt the CIRCLE STAR on fire. But now the LEGENDARY TEMPTATION are no longer with us. But their music will live forever. RIP TO ALL THE LEGENDARY TEMPTATION.

Great video but i really HATE that they think Eddie’s solo legacy is only 2 songs: Keep on Truckin’ and Boogie Down. Real fans know he had a LOT of great solo songs. He’s a Friend, Can I, Shoeshine Boy, Get the Cream off the Top, Date with the Rain, Girl You need a change of Mind, Intimate Friends, Skipping Work today etc.

But Barry Gordy found out that there was already another group by the name of THE ELGINS and would not sign them until they find themselves another name. And right there on HITVILLE LAWN. They come up with the name....THE TEMPTATIONS

Eddie found from Bubba that the artists on Motown were getting played. That's why Motown hated Gladys Knight and The Pips. The artist didn't own anything they worked for.
